Morgana, a witch, and Oz, a vampire, meet by chance and must work together to prevent war between their clans. But when Morgana accidentally turns Oz into a cat, their relationship takes a unique turn.

This is such a cute story. I flew through it with enjoyment. I loved the art style and I liked the cozy nature of it all. Despite dire circumstances, you still have that cozy feeling. It's a mix of comedy, drama, and fun.

Morgana is a witch who has very little control of her magic. She tends to set things on fire. When there is a meeting at her house, she runs into Oz, a vampire. Conflict ensues between the witches and vampires and Morgana accidentally turns Oz into an adorable white cat. To make matters worse, only Morgana can understand him!

The pace was fast and the world is very interesting. Magic is complex and there is more I want to learn about the vampires and their clan. The volume ends with the introduction of a new character and I'm interested to see what he brings into the mix. I look forward to continuing this series.

Thank you, NetGalley and Webtoon, for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

When a struggling witch encounters an angsty vampire, it's a tale of either love or war.

Morgana, from a long line of witches, and Oz, a member of a rival vampire clan, find themselves entangled after a serendipitous meeting and a few inadvertent spells. To avoid an all-out war between their respective coven and clan, they must collaborate.

The story unfolds with charm, as Morgana and Oz, seemingly destined as enemies, are compelled to break a spell gone awry and assist poisoned vampires. The endearing characters, particularly Morgana's quirky family, invite curiosity about their background. The narrative is peppered with mysteries, creating anticipation for the series' continuation. The vibrant artwork complements the exciting plot, although the suspenseful cliffhanger at the end leaves readers eagerly awaiting more.

A heartfelt thanks to NetGalley & Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group for the opportunity.

Special thanks to NetGalley and Webtoons for granting me early access to this book! My review is based off my experience while reading.

Morgana is a young witch still learning how to control her magic. She’s a bit clumsy and stunted in her magical growth but that doesn’t stop her determination.

Oz is an angsty teen vampire anxiously waiting to serve his master for the good of the red vampire clan, which consequently has been at odds with the witches for generations.

The story was relatively quick to read, about 300 pages. Took me less than an hour to read it. The art style was adorable, and you can get a feel on the characters even with limited dialogue. I thought it was really well written. It left off with a mysterious new character and a question about a possible 3rd interfering party. I’m excited to see where it goes. I would honestly love this as a show! I would definitely give this 5 stars.

Thank you to Netgalley and Webtoon for sending me an early copy of this graphic novel! All opinions are my own!

Oh my goodness, this was so cute! I loved every second of it, from the slightly angsty bits to the parts where Morgana and Oz were being absolutely adorable! They went from just enough angst to bond and have some shared trauma and make you root for them and open your heart to them - to being silly and sweet and making the whole thing so much fun!

I loved everything about this from the artwork to the way it keeps you hooked to the interesting worldbuilding. I can't wait to get my hands on the next volume!

4.5 out of 5 stars

I have read most of the first "season" of this before on Webtoon so I did already know what was going to happen but I still really enjoyed my time with this. I love the art style and the formatting of the book is much easier for me to read rather than the scroll format but I really hated how dark the watermark was for the arc edition, I could not read some words and it did take away from the art a bit. I just feel like they could've watermarked it in a less invasive way that would still be effective and then the book would've been a complete 5 stars from me. Anyways, I love this story and I love it when there's fighting between supernatural beings in stories but then there's those middle characters that fight against the useless fighting. I love the main characters and Morgana's brother is so adorable, I can't wait to see more of him in the next volume because I will definitely be collecting this physically when I can make some more room for graphic novels. There are quite a few mildly annoying and unlikeable characters which I think really helps balance the loveable idiots that are our main two characters. I am also a sucker for characters that have really strong powers that have to learn to control them but are afraid of hurting those around them and then angsty but soft vampires??? yes please.

Disclaimer: I received an arc copy of this from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

Big thanks to Wattpad Webtoon Book Group and NetGalley for allowing me to review this arc!!

This was so cute! It was quirky and fun, while also having hints of darker themes. The balance between the quirky, fun, comedic aspects and the darker themes was really nice. I often found myself laughing or trying to figure what something meant. For me as a reader that is always something I look out for. I want to be entertained while I read, but I also want have to think about what I am reading. Graphic novels often stay on the side of being entertaining, though this one didn't. That being said it is easily one of my favorite graphic novels I've read recently. I plan to continue reading on webtoon now!!

Another great part of this graphic novel, were the characters. Morgana has this naïve and unsure air about her, which makes me excited to see how her character grows. Another thing with this is that Morgana and Oz are to characters that are easy to root for, they are both super likeable. I really liked how they were illustrated, they were both very expressive.

Big side note, I was super excited to see this arc on here. I have followed Miyuli, for what seems like forever because their art is amazing. It is super exciting to see their work being published and I am glad got read it!

Morgana and Oz is about a family of witches and a clan of vampires and their long standing feud.
Morgana, a young witch who struggles with magic, accidentally turns Oz, a vampire, into a cat in a panic. Chaos ensues.
The art style is SO so cute, the details and the character design are both SO adorable.
Morgana just wants to do her best and Oz just wants to be bipedal again.
Absolutely adore the grumpy x sunshine route this is taking, cannot wait for more!

Thank you to Netgalley for a digital ARCH in exchange for my honest review.

This was a really cute story with cute artwork. And everything is in colour (manhwa style). It follows Morgana, a naive young witch who struggles with her magic, and Oz, a cynical vampire. The witches and the vampires are lifelong enemies, but during a meeting of reconciliation, the vampires were poisoned - thus chaos ensues. It's giving Romeo and Juliet.

The overall vibe is cute and quirky mixed with darker themes throughout. It'll be interesting to see Morgana and Oz grow together.

Such a cute story! Morgana, a witch, and Oz, a vampire, should be enemies due to their warring families/species, but after magic goes awry they are forced together to try and break the spell while also being thrown into helping the poisoned vampires. The characters are quickly lovable, easy to root for, and the quirkiness of Morgana's family makes me want to learn more about them and their background. There are several mysteries to be solved within this series and I can't wait to read more! The colors and artwork style were beautifully done and the plot exciting and propulsive...but the cliffhanger at the end was brutal.

This is exactly the type of thing I'd expect from a Wattpadd/Webtoon publication and it's great! It's the type of sweet, cute, funny, a little dark and witchy, mixed with some light hints at fandoms.

I received an advanced copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
For Morgana, living in a long line of witches has its perks, but she's struggling with her magic. All hell breaks loose when her family hosts a dinner with the local Red clan vampires. However, Morgana accidentally turns vampire Oz into a cat amid the chaos. Thus starts their adventure and angst, for Morgana to find a way to turn Oz back into a vampire.
This was so cute! I already read the original on Webtoon, and so this reread gave me a new perspective on the webcomic. Morgana is sweet, and Oz is angsty, but their chemistry builds slowly. Her younger brother, Mordechai, is bright for his age, and his cat, Molly, has so much fluff. The problems between the witches and vampires never seem to end, so it's up to Morgana and Oz to save the day.

Thank you, NetGalley for giving me this arc.

I can honestly say this was my favorite of February as we get a slice of comedy and adventure following the tales of Morgana the winterberry witch & Oz the vampire. The paths are cross as they try to find ways to store the peace between vampire clan & witch clan. This webtoon read was easy & quick, truly had me LOL in public I will definitely doing a follow up when this official release comes.

One of the best comics/graphic novels I’ve read in a while! The art is lovely and I’m intrigued by Morgana and Oz and can’t wait to see their relationship blossom and find out more about Morgana’s family.

This is sooo cute! I read it when it was on Webtoon and I'm so happy it's getting a physical copy. Its a bit of a Romeo/Juliet trope but I love it. Oz is my favorite of course.

This graphic novel is super cute. We have Morgana, a teenage witch who cant quite control her magic, and Oz, a vampire who crosses her path one night. The Vampires and Witches hate each other, and the story begins with a talk/dinner between the two factions going horribly wrong. Morgana and Oz are cute in their scenes together, and the side characters stories are interesting as well. There is also a overarching mystery arc that has me hooked, and I can't wait to read more, especially after how it ended!

The art style is super cute as well!

This was a very good beginning to the story of Morgana and Oz, a Witch and vampire thrust together by outside forces as they try to navigate how their worlds are slowly turning upside down around them. Each come face-to-face with the prejudices the held against the other and how those may not be as true as they once believed.

The story was very easy to follow and entertaining to read, though the massive watermark across the page made it difficult as times.

Graphic novels have a hard time impressing me. Since the prime days of early 2000's fandom when manga really started taking off in the states, I have seen a deterioration in quality when it comes to story / character development. This one is different though. I appreciated the story here as well as the portrayal of personalities that seem more human than artificially stereotyped.

I am surprised to say I'm going to continue reading this series. Maybe I share the author's prevalent love of cats? The cat humor alone has won me over. Combine that with witches, vampires and pseudo feudalism-era Japan style clan wars and I'm a happy camper.

This is a good one, I recommend it.

Morgana and Oz volume one is the beginning of a really cute story. It follows Morgana, a young witch that doesn't have control of her powers yet and Oz, a vampire that Morgana accidentally turns into a cat. Witches and Vampires aren't on friendly terms and being pushed into each other's lives makes it look like each will get a better glimpse of how the other one lives. It's cute and drawn well, the story looks very promising and I'm excited to see how this adventure unfolds.

Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for granting me this ARC in exchange for an honest review. This book is set to be published September 24, 2024.

This might be the start of a new favorite graphic novel series for me! The story starts with a young witch named Morgana, who does not have the best control on her powers. When a clan of vampires come to her family home to try to broker peace, a fight breaks out. Oz, a handsome vampire who is a member of the clan, runs into Morgana and through a spell gone wrong, he is turned into a cat. Shenanigans ensue.

The art style in this graphic novel is gorgeous. The character design is some of my favorite I've even seen, especially Morgana and Oz. I also love how the spellwork is depicted and the colors are also gorgeous. It is also a fun story that I'm really looking forward to continuing.

Also, September will be the perfect time for this to come out because it is giving major fall vibes. I would definitely recommend!

Start of a series. Both sides think the other is out to get them.
Friendship starting between the main characters after a spell Morgana cast turned Oz into a cat that she can only understand.
Looking forward to the next volume
