First off, I’m kicking myself for waiting so long to read this. Once I started, I couldn’t stop.

Swift & Saddled is a love story following a convent king cowboy and focused, charming, and enchanting interior designer.

It’s hard not to root for both of these characters in their pursuit and character development of each other. Plus, the supporting cast is just as great.

Looking forward to contributing this series! I can’t wait for the next two books.

📖 Ada goes to Rebel Blue ranch to work on a home improvement project for the Ryder family. She’s determined to go in, do the job, and make a name for herself to launch her business. What she doesn’t expect is to find herself so strongly attracted to Wes Ryder, her new boss.

💭 This is book 2 in the Rebel Blue Ranch series. I love the Ryder family so much! I liked reading Wes and Ada’s story. They had so many sweet moments and I loved that they just couldn’t resist each other. I also liked seeing Ada’s character growth and how she worked through the feelings of her past. I will admit that I did like book 1 slightly more than this one, but I still loved this story. I can’t wait for book 3, I think it’s going to be the best one yet!

What a wonderful return to my happy place - Rebel Blue Ranch! I fell in love with Rebel Blue Ranch and Lyla Sage's writing with Done and Dusted and the second installment of the series, Swift and Saddled, did not disappoint!

Cowboy romances were never on my radar until Lyla Sage brought me Luke in Done and Dusted and now Wes in Swift and Saddled. And now I can't get enough. Ada, the FMC, was not my favorite but I grew to love her as the book went on. And now I can't wait for the next in the series - take me back to Rebel Blue Ranch, please!

Anything Lyla Sage puts out I foam at the mouth for! 10/10 everytime!! This books is true black cat/golden retriever vibes with the fmc being so relatable for people who just like their space. I felt like the characters were shown perfectly through your writing and will be reading anything she writes!

I love Lyla because she can balance cute romance that is slightly ridiculous but it actually isn’t and my expectations are in hell. But genuinely I adore reading this and that’s coming from someone who loves fantasy.

Listen, I know everyone wants a Gus and Teddy story. But Lyla Sage gave us sweet sweet Weston Ryder first, and I loved every minute of it. He was so patient and tender with Addi. I loved that he accepted her just as she was and the end got me all choked up. Loved it.

I loved Done and Dusted, so I was really excited to read the next book in the Rebel Blue Ranch series! Swift and Saddled was a cute and fun romance that I enjoyed reading. I loved the characters and there were so many cute moments between Ada and Wes, especially in the second half of the book.

However, I didn’t connect with this book as much as I did with the first book. I didn’t love the pacing of the romance. It was very insta love/insta lust, which isn’t my favourite. But I really liked everything else about this book!

I’ve had a good time reading the Rebel Ranch series so far and I have a feeling Lost and Lassoed is going to be my new favourite book in the series, so I can’t wait to read it next!

If you like small town cowboy romances, found family, and black cat/golden retriever energy, I think you’ll enjoy reading this book!

This opposites attract romance is filled with entertaining characters, especially the hero and heroine. The tension builds right from the start and the romance is super charming! I look forward to reading the next in the series.

I loved done and dusted and couldn’t wait to have Wes get in the spotlight! Some of the wording in the spicy scenes threw me off a little, but overall I loved this book! I love all of the characters in this series! You know I already went and preordered the third book!

I love this small-town romance!!

●The rugged Wyoming ranch provides a picturesque backdrop for the story. The author’s vivid descriptions make you feel the crunch of gravel under your boots and the whisper of wind through the prairie grass.

●Ada Hart, a city girl with trust issues, lands a crucial interior design project on a Wyoming ranch. There, she meets Weston Ryder, a cowboy who’s smitten with her. Opposites attract, but Ada’s walls are firmly in place.

●The tension between Ada and Wes is palpable as they work together.

●Ada’s resilience and Wes’s charm make them memorable.

●A tender, relatable romance with delicious tension! Beyond romance, the book touches on trust, healing, and finding home. Ada’s journey from skepticism to vulnerability mirrors the landscape’s transition from winter to spring.

●Swift and Saddled is a warm hug wrapped in cowboy boots. Whether you’re a seasoned rancher or a city slicker, this book invites you to slow down, savor the moments, and believe in second chances.

I’d heard so many good things about Wes and Ada’s love story and wasn’t disappointed! His patient love for her while she figured out what she wanted and needed was absolutely beautiful. The spice was hot, the banter amazing, Lyla Sage you will always be famous to me!

I absolutely adored Done and Dusted so when I got approved for an ARC of Swift and Swaddled it made my whole year! Unfortunately, Wes and Ada fell a little short for me.

I want to start off this review by saying that I absolutely enjoyed coming back to visit Rebel Blue Ranch and Amos, my favourite cowboy Daddy <3

I found it hard to get into Wes and Ada's story, yes there was some spice right off the bat but the chemistry lacked a bit for me! From Wes' side there was a lot of attraction but often I felt Ada was super closed off to the point I struggled with her character!

Don't get it twisted, I loved Ada's character for the strong woman she was, working in construction and building her brand up - it takes guts to move somewhere with little educational background and fix up a whole dang house, with limited support from family. Ada was a strong willed character who could see the charm in all the disarray, something I was jealous of when reading the book. I mean, c'mon, those flowers into the curtains? GENIUS, I am envious Ada thought of that.

I struggled with Ada's character because it felt like the more people rallied around her to help her and support her, she always wanted to run! It was super relatable but frustrating at the same time - I just wanted to scream from the rooftops that she was safe and loved at Rebel Blue.

Wes, my sweet Wes boy who just wanted to be loved by Ada, I LOVE YOU. I adored Wes' character, he was the perfect gentleman! He respected Ada's boundaries, he helped her when requested and was such a great supporter of his friends and family. I loved watching his vision of Baby Blue come to life with Ada's help. I LOVED that Lyla Sage wrote Wes as a character that struggled with depression and mental illness, its rare we see men in books with mental health representation so it was nice to see that someone who "has it good" can still struggle.

SPICY - SPICY - SPICY, that's all the words I have to say when it comes to Ada and Wes when they *finally* act on their feelings.

The end of the book had me feeling all the feels, I really love how supportive Wes is in Ada's dreams, he is as much invested in her dreams as she is in hers. I loved seeing Ada chase her dreams while also allowing herself to be loved by Wes and the Ryder crew. It made my heart so happy to see Ada with the perfect ending she deserved.

A quick shoutout to the girl gang at Rebel Blue, including Emmy, Teddy, and Cam - I stan a strong girl group and loved how welcoming they were to Ada, truly seeing strong women support other strong women makes me tear up. Thank you Lyla Sage for writing strong women.

If you're looking for a book that includes hot cowboys, he falls first and harder, strong female friendships, mental health representation, and spicy yee-haw scenes then I highly recommend picking up Swift and Swaddled!

The world of Rebel Blue Ranch is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. I loved the glimpses of Wes we got in Emmy’s book so I was so excited to finally read his story. Right off the bat, I really loved the mental health representation in this book. It’s such an important thing to discuss, especially mental health in men. So I really loved reading about that side of Wes. Ada quickly became a loved fmc for me. Her tough exterior was very relatable and Wes’s determination to get through the walls she had built was so beautiful to read about. Overall, I really loved this story and thought it was so cute and fast paced.

So, so, so unbelievably grateful to Random House Dial Press and NetGalley for this e-ARC of Swift and Saddled in exchange for an honest review. Might I just call this the best book ever???? The ensemble cast that Lyla Sage created was quick-witted, hilarious, and so genuine it made my cheeks hurt because I was smiling from ear to ear throughout this entire book. Lyla Sage knows exactly how to never drag a scene on and always keep your attention. Wes and Ada matched each other so beautifully throughout their story, with their conversations and chemistry growing stronger with each passing page. You could feel all the moments between them and how natural and believable their love story was. Ada's fears after her previous marriage failed met with Wes's own personal battle resulted in such a comforting tale that made me swoon every single time the two them thought about each other. And the found family that Lyla Sage created deserves to be mentioned again so here I am!! I am so ready for the next book but I want time to slow down so I can savor and prolong these books!!!!

Cowboy romances are guaranteed to make me happy and this one was no different! From the relationship between Wes and Ada to seeing both of them achieve their dreams, this book made me really happy! I thought they had really great chemistry that made the book fly by while reading! I’m really excited to visit the Ryder’s again with Gus and Teddy!

While a very cute romance, I didn’t connect with the characters as much as I would have liked to. I also realized that I don’t enjoy cowboy romances, so that may be a personal problem. I still enjoyed it but it wasn’t my favorite.

This was such a sweet and spicy romance! I love a country boy, city girl dynamic and this one did it so well. I love this series and I’m already looking forward to the next one!

This is a fluffy, entertaining read, but that's it for me. It's very easy to get through and if you have a few free hours, you can read it in one sitting.

It wasn't fully my cup of tea when it came to the romance because it's kind of insta-lovey and that's not my favorite, but that's a me problem. A lot of people love it and will love it precisely because of that, which is great.

One other thing I can say is that I liked the depression rep with the MMC instead of the FMC. I just wish there was more depth to it.
