I really like this journal’s layout and benefits. This document goes over all of the ways to utilize and employ the journal to make the most of it.

Fantastic book journal to track your readings. Bonus point, it can be used again and again. Totally recommend

Really appreciate that they made the sunset palette because I would not have used this if it had been the only option.

i’ve struggled to use the stickers attached to the journal. i really don’t know why I really struggle to figure out how to use this journal. It is so beautiful. I really want to know how to use it unfortunately I hope at least I can get somebody who will help with this because it’s not making sense for me to have this really nice book and journal and not be able to use it. You understand.

It was hard to actually download and use it and make edits on it so it took a way the functionality of it for me.

O M G—this reading journal is amazing! I’m in love. It has everything: little games, activities, monthly and yearly wrap-ups, a habit tracker, and so much more. I know I’m going to enjoy using it this year and in the years to come. Absolutely fantastic!

Thanks so much for this helpful resource! Having a reading journal to keep reading challenges, check-ins and reviews trackable was so fun and helped keep me accountable with my reading goals.

The NetGalley Reading Journal is a helpful tool for keeping track of reviews and reading progress! I love the thoughtful prompts and space to reflect. I am especially looking forward to trying out some of the activities near the end of the book! The layout is simple and clean, and it’s a fun way to look back at past reads.

This reading journal is aesthetically pleasing and is great for my iPad! It has everything one could want in a journal and is functional.

This journal was exactly what I was looking for! The perfect way to keep track of my ARCS and organize my thoughts for reviewing!

I slightly prefer the other palette of the reading journal (the sunset palette), but this journal is equally useful and helpful. I noted that when I opened it in my browser it said that it was a journal for 2024 in the file name, so it would be cool if We Are Bookish could create an updated journal for 2025, but overall it's still fairly useful to use even if it was initially created for another year.

I have no idea how to use this journal other than to print it out which defeats the purpose of it being digital and minimising paper printing 😟
Great idea but…..

This is such a convenient and completely free resource—perfect for readers and reviewers alike. It’s yet another example of the thoughtful, high-quality work we’ve come to expect from We Are Bookish. Their ability to create tools that are both practical and inspiring makes them an invaluable part of the book community, and this guide is no exception.

A great tool I still use! I appreciate Netgalley providing us with a fun guide to track reviews as well as some nice items to include in reviews and social media posts.

This journal is a very convenient way to keep track of the books you have read as you roll as the star ratings and thoughts/opinions. I have seen folks use similar journals/styles and I appreciate that Bookish and NetGalley offer this to its users. Super convenient and helpful

Green/brown/yellow color scheme. I appreciate the blank, line, grid, and dot pages at the end, and the more structured pages to track history and goals.

Gorgeous free resource to track reading. Neutral, calm color scheme with clean, fine line art style. Easily customizable.

LOVE the journal! Love the template check-in, and I absolutely plan to use this as an organization tool for my reading!

I really like the usability of this journal. I wish there was a way to use without needing other apps and still add pages but that would probably too much for the pdf. The navigation is fantastic. There's not much that makes it stand out from other book journals. For the next versions it would be nice to see a spice rating tracker since there's so many romance readers. Or to have an option to let users have an additional rating area that they can select what they are tracking. That could be marked with sticker options.
I do enjoy the Activities section as I love having personal reading challenges. The Top 10 is a fun one! As are the yearly brackets. It would use pages for a numerical tracker, like a goal of 100 books read in a year and we could color in as we go.

A nice way to keep the reading organized! I plan on using the review templates to design the social media posts too.
