This is a really cute offering for journaling about your books - if you use a tablet with e-notes app. If you use a Kindle fire and don't own a tablet otherwise, it's kind of a miss. I'm not familiar with digital app journaling and now I feel old and obsolete. (It might not help that I'm writing this review while sick and falling behind in other word so thinking what the bleep ONE MORE THING TO LEARN how to use?!)

Really, it's thought of everything - About Me, Setting Goals (Yearly AND monthly), habit tracker and customizing your book covers and reviews so everything is in one handy place. Plus some purely fun pages - BINGO and narrowing down your own Best of the Year.

I will not be using the journal. I use the NetGalley website (Your shelf) and Goodreads to accomplish the same thing. I've used Goodreads for several years to track books read. My system works for me. I do wonder if all the work a person has to do (loading covers, etc.) would better be spent in actually reading & reviewing.

I used to prettify my review content on my website. I liked it. Still do but I evaluated how long it was taking me to add that drop-cap colored to match a color in the cover. I decided that while it was prettier -- I needed the time to read/review.

I rated this as 3 stars but I'm wondering how many of your reviewers will use it. I did NOT add this to my website since my review is not all that positive. I know a LOT of work went into it.

this is the perfect quick and easily accessible reading journal. Once you download on your device, youre able to access the pages through different hyperlinks. Everything is super organized and easy to use. Thank you netgalley!

What a brilliantly designed book. This would be a fantastic gift for a reader – someone who wants to keep a detailed record of their year of reading. I loved the layout and the opportunity to add extra details about the books read.

Would have rather it did more work. Automatically included reviews. Kind of like the goodreads end of year review but you saw it as a work in progress.

The NetGalley Reading Journal includes sections to personalize, set goals, and write book reviews. There's also a habit tracker, challenges, a NetGalley bingo, and wrap-up templates. The sticker pack included felt more like scrapbooking stickers vs the fun bookish stickers I've been spoiled by on Etsy. I really like the monthly check-in pages and think the whole set up would be great for anyone interested in a digital journal. Unfortunately, I learned through this that a digital reading journal is not for me. It felt clunky on desktop and was impossible on mobile. Accessing and editing on an iPad seems ideal, but that's not part of my normal reading set-up, so getting that sorted, plus learning how to use the Xodo PDF Editor was too much for me. I may look for a reading journal I can by hand or just stick with the spreadsheets and apps that have already been working for me. Love this idea and am sure it's a treat for some, but it just wasn't for me.

A great tool to use to keep detailed information on the books I'm reading. Something I've thought to do, but have not started doing until now. I like it so far.

I love this tracker! I've been wanting a digital one that has the things I would normally put in my physical one and this fits the bill perfectly!
