I’m not techy, not at all but I have a new iPad and have always wanted to try to a reading planner, I saw this on NetGalley, downloaded it, and here we are.

Back in the 90’s, I carried my planner everywhere and kept track of my entire life in it, as the years have passed, and I became busier as a homeschooling parent, I’ve tried other paper planners, to keep track of everything we did in a year, I always found myself making do with spreadsheets and using them to fit our needs. Therefore, when I joined NetGalley and began reading e-arcs, I’ve always kept track of my reads on my google calendar, docs, and a spreadsheet - I’ve bought numerous reading journals / planners but nothing was exactly what I was looking for and I’d always continue with my spreadsheet (book title, publisher, publication date) /docs (review) /calendar (when to post) combination - it’s what’s worked for me.

So, I mentioned above that I’m not what anyone would consider techy and I will say that the accompanying instructions for this journal made trying this out easy and do-able.

After a few days, I’ll say that I found it surprisingly easy to use, and will definitely try this out for the long term, come January.

This is such a cute and convenient way if keeping track of your reading material. It's simple and straightforward and has all the necessary categories. What's even better is that it downloads as a PDF, so it's easy to print and use that way!

If you're a reader, this is a must!

I loved this idea! It makes keeping track of what you've read, when you've read it, and how you rated the books so much easier. It also looks very nice and being able to just click on the tabs you want makes it super quick and easy to navigate. Thank you for the journal!

Thank you for this Reading Journal. It is very nice and will be very useful in keeping track of reading and reviewing books. Personally, I probably won't use it as I'm too busy to take that kind of time to fill out the many, many pages. That would take a large amount of time for reading out of my time.

The NetGalley Reading Journal is a very nice idea and a great reward for NetGalley readers. I'm not sure it would replace an online tracking system (such as Goodreads) for me, but it's still a nice medium for people who prefer to have a tangible record of their readings. I like how you're encouraged to print miniatures of the book covers to stick them in the journal, the visual aspect helps to recall the books you've read more easily.

I found the colours of the journal to be a little bland and the design not very modern, but it's still a handy reading journal;

I'd recommend for anyone who's looking to start tracking their reads or who want to switch from an online tracker to a physical one.

This was so cute! I love the journal and will definitely be using it next year. The templates, the colors, the spaces for sticker downloads, and just the general ease of use is helpful. Sometimes I forget to take notes as I read arcs and I think this will be super helpful for me.

So excited to use! I've never been naturally super good at bullet journaling or coming up with my own format, but this looks like the perfect solution to getting organized and creative with my book reviews. Thanks, NetGalley!

This is such an adorable idea! I love the thought that went into it, including the sticker and activities sections. I can really see myself using this, and some of the prompts could be helpful for social media posts as well. I don't think there was a single option left out. The only thing I would have liked to have seen is some pre-built stickers from NetGalley, but that's just my opinion!

I downloaded it right into my GoodReader app for some exploring, and it looks like a good tracking tool. I especially liked the monthly check in pages, with their quick visual overviews.
