This Netgalley Reading Journal really is more than you would expect from the name.
Sure, the main purpose is to track your reading habits, but you'll get so much more than that with this 104 page journal.
The journal is tabbed along the side with all the months of the year - letting you easily go to the month you're in to record your books. Along the top, the journal also has tabs for your shelf, stickers, activities, wrap-up and notes.
At the start, there's a bit of information, places to put in your own information and space for your reading goals. Next comes your shelf which is a place, they suggest, to list the books you want to read or listen to.
Then comes the months. Each month comes with space for your goals, reflections, most anticipated books and other little bits. Then it's a book per page for your reading journal. A book review page allows you to put all the details about the book, the cover picture, your review and your favourite quotes. There are spaces for 4 reviews per month.
After the monthly reviews comes a space to put stickers (downloadable from Netgalley, as far as I can see). Then the activities - reading challenges and more. The wrap up allows you to show your 'best of' of the year, then finally space for your notes.
Overall, this is a fun and useful reading journal with lots of little extras. You can use it as much or as little as you like but it will help you to keep track of your books throughout the year. Recommended.

This is a great way to keep track of the books I read each month. I appreciate the added details and the overall aesthetic.

This is super cool! While I don’t think I will actually use this in its entirety (it’s just not how my brain works) I found a few ideas for enhancing my system based on this! If you enjoy tracking your read and statistics on a month to month basis though, this is ABSOLUTELY for you!

Just downloaded this in March 2025! As I noted in my other note (linking below), I wish I had started in January, but still helpful to have this.

I feel like I am just writing the same review for each piece of the journal “bundle”, so I’ll be brief here. This was a great idea but I couldn’t get it to work easily or even at all with some parts when doing it on technology (computer, tablet, phone, etc). I really wish there was an alternative to print it out. I definitely would have used this if it had worked a lot easier for me…

love the journal and how it helps keep track of stuff!!
I enjoyed filling it and provided a great way to get my reading organized!
I hope everyone enjoyed it just as much as me

This is an amazing reading journal resource from We Are Bookish. Definitely recommend this resource to readers who love journalling to track their books read and reading time.

This is amazing. I am very new to the bookish influencer/NetGalley scene and already I know this will help me immensely. I cannot wait to use this to help manage all my reading, especially ARCs I receive here on NetGalley. Thank you to WeAreBookish for the free guide!

Convenient guide to help facilitate an organized reading year.
Everything you can think of to process and complete your reads.

Just as good as the original with some updates. Highly recommend if you want to keep track of what you read.

The NetGalley Reading Journal will be super helpful in keeping me on track with my book and its ratings this 2025! I have tried similar journals in the past. Still, I already downloaded this one into good notes and have taken actionable steps toward organizing my previous reads and keeping track of my ratings and any other emotions that come up while I read.
The journal's best features are its tips on making reading a habit and its challenges. My favorite feature is the hyperlinks embedded in the journal, which make it easy to click around from Home to Activities or Shelf, etc. The beginning starts with a refresher after downloading NetGalley, which contains essential links to the website. It also allows for books you read outside of NetGalley, which is a little added in for all book advocates.
I'm excited to continue using this on my iPad to monitor my progress. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys digitally tracking and accessing their progress.

Great reading journal! I've used this many times since you provided it. It's a bit hard to say more than that but I did want to make sure that my positive feedback was shared.

Setting up an online reading journal can be overwhelming, but this is a fantastic tool for anyone looking to start without the hassle of making one themselves. With tabs for shelves, stickers, activities, wrap-ups, and space for creativity, it’s both practical and fun to use. I love that NetGalley created this and highly recommend it!

Another fantastic support tool for readers and reviewers by We Are Bookish. Love that it is a digital journal so links at the top provide easy navigation to different areas.

Amazing reading journal it is very helpful with tracking my reading and reviews that I write. It also helps me remember important things to add to review

I love all the different templates and ideas that are in the reading journal. I need to do a better job of keeping track of my books so I'm going to start using this more.

Thank you for this beautiful journal, it was very well thought out and helpful especially for beginning my reading journey.

Love the thought and care that went into the design of this reading journal! I also deeply appreciate that it is made so readily available to NetGalley users. THIS is how you support your community! Thank you!

Thank you so much for the journal. Very insightful and informative.
I appreciate all the helpful tips. It's been very useful during my reading journey and as I learn to provide constructive feedback for books.

It was a beautiful journal but I found I didn't really use it. I've always struggled with journaling.
