An enjoyable romcom.
After being jilted at the alter our main character heads off on honeymoon alone, where she just so happens to meet someone…… ironically this someone is a person who is going to have a large impact on her life! For me it was a little bit too much of a coincidence that they met in that way, like what are the chances really?
However it brought them together and the romance twists and turns through lots of different ups and downs! You will find yourself wanting to shout at the characters at certain points, just so they can get everything sorted out and move on!!
All in all a fun read.

I have read many of Georgina Troy's books, she is an amazing writer whose books never disappoint.

This book starts with Paige going on her honeymoon alone and single to Sorrento. Paige meets Seb, who is on Sorrento on business. Both feel Instant chemistry, both are from very different backgrounds. Can they build a relationship when they both return home and to real life? It turns out due to Sebs business interests they may have a knock on affect Paige's on business.

Paige's sister Clem who is in a relationship with Paige's best friend and next door neighbour Olly, is also facing life changing decisions and has moved into Paige's cottage.

Lots of emotions, brilliant characters, and a fab story. Read this to find out what happened to Paige & Olly

Unfortunately, this didn't work out for me. I was unsure what to rate this because it felt like it had all the right elements but the characters, the execution and conversations were just bad. I wasn't able to connect with Paige nor Sebastian because the writing felt shallow and often had stilted conversations. Our main characters had zero chemistry and after a point, it was impossible to continue.

I was in the mood for a sweet romcom of a novel, but I didn't get very far before I just couldn't read it anymore. It was as if a teenager wrote it, not an author with many books that have been published. Meet cute where someone is in love within the first few pages, poor writing, etc.

Paige opts for Sorrento as her honeymoon destination following a breakup with her fiance. There, she meets Sebastian, who offers to guide her around the island. Upon returning home to Jersey, she discovers Sebastian's involvement in a company taking over the store where she has a concession, putting her shop at risk. As a man working at M&S, the realm of designer shoes is unfamiliar to me, but I admire those who build businesses from their passions. Sebastian appears more complex than a mere hard-nosed businessman, harboring hidden secrets. Their tumultuous relationship makes for a compelling beach read, where you'll find yourself wanting to knock some sense into the main characters.

The moment I saw that gorgeous cover I knew I had to read this straight away. It is a really beautiful read, brilliant characters with many twists. Very easy to read and I literally couldn’t put it down!

The world of designer shoes is definitely foreign to me being a man at M&S, but I have to admire anyone who can make a business from something that they are passionate about. Seb does come across as more than a hard-headed business man, with some hidden secrets. It's one of those stories where you want to bash the two main character's heads together as they both have strong feelings for each other, but struggle to make the relationship work. An ideal beach read.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book by Georgina Troy, which is set in two beautiful countries, Italy and Jersey. I loved both settings, and the characters.

Reading it, made you wish you was in between the characters, enjoying being on the warm beaches and sightseeing in Italy.

I highly recommend this book.

Love Georgina Troy books and this is no exception. Paige goes to Sorrento where she was supposed to be on honeymoon. She meets Sebastian and then discovers he's been keeping something back which could affect her whole future

Another great read from Georgina. I enjoyed the fact it was set in Italy and then Jersey. Wonderful warm sunny beaches and romance, what more could you want. My thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for giving me the opportunity to read this book in return for an honest review.

A captivating story which begins in the gorgeous setting of Sorrento and leads us to the island of Jersey. Paige and Sebastian hit it off but trouble is brewing when he has to decide whether or not to keep her store in the arcade he is restructuring, Her best friend Olly and her sister Clem both help the couple to navigate the ups and down of their relationship. Another well written novel by Georgina Troy, looking forward to the next one.

I enjoyed the initial story and romance, but the main character drove me nuts after that. She supposed loves this man but refuses to listen to anything he wants to explain to her. I'm all for suspending reality, but this one really pushes it for me. He keeps at it and it just screams at a relationship doomed to fail to me and made it hard to enjoy.

I think this is the best Georgina Troy book I have read so far and I have read them all. Set between Italy and Jersey. You wanted a pair of shoes. It was a complicated love story with a difficult sister , an interesting friend . I loved the sound of the Jersey Store Read it . You just escape and you get a perfect ending

First read of the year, done!

Paige is an independent businesswoman with a flare for shoes. She finally decides to take some time to herself and heads off on holiday, where she meets a handsome stranger.

It's only once she gets home she learns more about them, and then their complicated love story begins. Add in to the mix an overage golden retriever energy best friend, a sister who's hiding something and an ex-girlfriend out to get you, there's some drama popped in.

I would recommend reading this is if you're a fan of holiday romances, small town romances and chance meetings.
