I love Praying with Saint Patrick by Aaron Burns and Matt Mikalatos! I used Praying with Saint Patrick as part of my personal devotional time and it really ministered to me. I learned a lot not only about Saint Patrick and God, but God taught me a lot about my relationship with Him too. I highly recommend Praying with Saint Patrick for anytime of the year. Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read this book. My review is also on Goodreads.

This lovely little book is a little bit of history and a lot of prayer. Aaron Burns and Matt Mikalatos have assembled some very interesting information about St. Patrick’s life and included some of his writings and prayers from each stage of his development. St. Patrick’s rise from teenage slave to Patron Saint of Ireland is fascinating and inspiring. The book can be read as a story with prayers but they have also organized the prayers for specific situations such as a prayer for when you feel helpless or a prayer for knowledge. I thoroughly enjoyed learning more about this Saint and I will be returning to the book again and again for some of the prayers.

I received a complimentary advance reader copy of this book and I am giving my honest opinion.

What a wondferful, wonderful book! I simply loved it! It was actually full of surprizes for me as I had been sceptical that Saint Patrick had been anything more than a fictitious figure of Saint Patrick's Day renown. I was wrong and it has been great learning more about his life and sacrifices. He seems to have been one of those mighty men of God.

Besides the biographical input, obviously, judging by the book's title, there are many prayers of Saint Patrick recorded within. They are moving as well as helpful especially and specfically, prayers for times of loneliness, great trauma, knowing God's presence and a whole lot more, arranged in categories such as son, slave, student and saint, according to the times of Saint Patrick's life and experiences.

I believe sincere, prayerful readers will find this little volume of immense benefit.

A 5-Star rating from me.

Very interesting devotional book! I learned a lot of things that I didn't know about Patrick Ireland. Also great practical applications to my own life. The layout was a bit odd in some ways, which is why only 4 stars... Definitely worth the time to read this one! I actually read it through twice!!
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the advance e-copy of this book! All opinions expressed are entirely my own.

This was a short and sweet book.
Filled with daily prayers based on the life and ministry of Saint Patrick, this book is good for any time of year, but most especially for March during Saint Patrick's Day.
