I was so happy to share the sixth story of Kallie George’s Anne series with my daughter. We definitely enjoyed it as she is becoming an Anne of Green Gables fan too! Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher.

This was a great, short and sweet retelling of the Anne of Green Gables stories! It is perfect for younger readers who are not quite ready to start the original series. I would definitely recommend for younger readers or anyone who wants a quick read!

An ARC was provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for a honest review. Anne of Green Gables has been a comfort in my life. I was very excited to get choosen to review this book. This book beautifully illustrates Anne’s journey on becoming a teacher. It is a beautiful piece and part of a series. This is book six and the final book in the collection.

Anne Dreams is the final book in the Anne Chapter book series, and is a wonderful way for fans of the original Anne of Green Gables by L. M. Montgomery to introduce the final events of the classic to younger readers. The book's illustrations are beautiful and match the style of writing extremely well. While I did find the pacing of events a bit fast, I would recommend this title to adult fans of the original Anne, and young readers not quite ready for a larger book. As it was broken up into a few 4-5 page chapters, it was a very digestible read, and provides a good lesson - your appearance isn't everything!

Thank you to Penguin Random House Canada, in conjunction with Tundra, Kallie George, and Abigail Halpin for providing me with an ARC. I was not required to write a review, and all thoughts presented in the review above are my own.

I love Anne of Green Gables retellings more than the original and Anne Dreams is another example of how this story works for all levels of readers.

I enjoyed this short book based on the original Anne of Green Gables. It provided a simplified version of the larger story for younger readers. I loved the art that was included in the book. It added to the overall sweet and comforting feel of the book.

This is a cute way to get young readers into classic stories such as Anne of Green Gables. The chapters are short and still capture the heart of the story. The graphics are bright and beautiful. The layout of the different Annes was my favorite in the story.

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book.

This is an illustrated chapter book inspired by Anne of Green Gables. This was so sweet. I’ve loved the original books since I was younger and this was such a great book. The illustration that is spread throughout the chapters is wonderful. This is a perfect book for younger readers that will introduce them to Anne of Green Gables. I wish these were around when I was younger, and will definitely be a gift for my girls when they get older.

I was given a copy of this book via Netgalley. I was not required to write a review. These are my own honest thoughts.

Beautiful words and true to our dramatically elegant Anne we all have known and loved. I really enjoyed this book and will definitely use this with my students. Beautiful use of words and authentic storyline. Love, Love, Love!

This book warmed my heart!!! The illustrations were inspired and I loved that they kept much of the original language but in an abridged way.

“I’m in the depths of despair!” and the entire hair-dyeing scene is one of my most favourite parts in the entire series, so reading it here was so joyful. This series is a very iconic series in my family. My grandma and I read the series when I was young and repeatedly watched all the movies.

The book was short and sweet, and I would recommend it to adults and children alike. Especially those with a soft spot for the original stories or films.

Thank you NetGalley, Kallie George and Penguin Random House for the arc to read and review.

A mini adaptation with a few events from "Anne of Green Gables" for the chapter books audience. The illustrations were mostly good, except I didn't care for how Marilla and (especially) Matthew were portrayed. Charming and a good introduction for young kids to Anne and her adventures, but it left me wanting something more substantial.

Anne Dreams is a heartwarming tale about growing up, embracing one's quirks, and the beauty of chasing one's dreams. Kallie George has done a remarkable job of adapting Anne's story for beginning chapter book readers. The book leaves readers with a sense of warmth and the enduring message that it is the journey of self-improvement and the pursuit of dreams that truly defines us. Abigail Halpin's illustrations are a noteworthy addition, lending a nostalgic and whimsical charm to the story. Her artwork beautifully complements George's storytelling, capturing the essence of Anne's world and the emotions of the characters.

This is the final installment in a series of illustrated early chapter books based on Anne of Green Gables. This one covers Anne's unfortunate hair dye episode, along with her desire to work hard in school and become a teacher. The book conveys positive messages without being preachy, and the illustrations are colorful and expressive. This book can whet new readers' appetites for the full novel once they're older, and will be fun for many adults who love Anne.

I'm conflicted on this book. It was a very quick read and perfect for younger kids that like the idea of a chapter book, but don't have the stamina. It's a sweet story and the illustrations are beautiful. Here's the kicker - if you don't already know Anne, it might not.be very engaging. If you're a parent already familiar with Anne of Green Gables, the nostalgia and beautiful colors will warm your heart. If you're a kid, this might be pretty dry. I would absolutely have it availableon shelves. Go in knowing you might be watching the movie first before getting an excited reader to engage with this one.

I'm new to this series and was so excited to get to see the ARC from #netgalley and #Tundra books! Kallie George's adaptation blends beautifully with Abigail Halpin's beautiful illustrations to make a lovely accessible Anne for younger audiences. I can't wait to read the others in the series and they are going on our wish list of new books for our school library!

“I shall always be your Anne of Green Gables, full of dreams”
I adored this book and its gorgeous illustrations! This is the first Anne book I have read in Kallie’s series and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. I love that she’s interpreted the classic and lovely Anne into a beautiful story of who she is to inspire children and people of all ages who maybe can’t get through or connect with the classics. I am so grateful I got a glimpse of this series, I will be reading the others!
Many thanks to the Publisher and Net- Galley for sending me an E-ARC of this gorgeous story!

I absolutely adore Anne of Green Gables. I read the books as a child and again as an adult. Knowing they can be a bit overwhelming for a younger child, I was excited to come across this title and preview it before it is released. It was a quick read and hit on some of the unforgettable moments of Anne's life. With the book being short enough to hold a young reader's attention and including illustrations to further activate their imagination, I believe it will also draw them in and entice them to read the full version, when they're older/ready. One of the nice things about the book is that, while it is the sixth title in the series, the book does not make you feel like you cannot follow along with the story line and characters. As I only just discovered this series, I will be checking my library and Libby accounts to see if I can read the others.
