This is the third book I've read by Mia Summers, but I have to say that "Laughing All the Way," while a bit formulaic, actually wasn't that bad. An internet influencer, Noelle, goes to Christmas Town USA to cover it for her reporting gig (granted, I'm a bit confused how an influencer has assigned reporting duties, but ...). While Noelle usually is full of snark and eye rolls, she manages to find a spark - and joy - of Christmas - partially in part thanks to the town's mayor, Colin. Noelle goes up expecting everything to be over the top - and in some cases it is - but it's also obvious that this town and its people really enjoy the holiday and all it means. Yes, the plot's predictable and there weren't any surprises ... and at times its a bit too Hallmark movie like (but that's an idea, make this into a Hallmark movie!), but for a fast Christmas romance read, it was good and what I needed to get me out of a reading funk. Probably somewhere between 3.5 and 3.75 stars, but it was a solidly enjoyable book.
