Most of the samples didn't interest me; either the blurb didn't grab me and I skipped it or I read the excerpt and it didn't grab me. There's a paucity of genre and an excess of literary fiction although there seem to be more genre excerpts than last year. There were a few excerpts I enjoyed but nothing that called to me to acquire and read the whole book. I should pass on the next edition as literary fiction isn't my main reading interest currently and hasn't been for several years.
