I love me a second-chance romance! I feel like I overuse the word "cute" a lot, but this story really was very cute. They had witty banter, competitive activities, a small-town full of funny and quirky side characters, and most importantly this story had some really great chronic-illness representation.

Never Getting Back Together was a cute, swoony, easy read. I finished it within a day. I will say what really pulled me into the story was the banter between Quinn and Ty. They truly loved each other but just weren't sure how to show it or how to bring up what happened in the past.
The miscommunication part pulled down the rating for me. With Quinn flying off the hinges at every small thing and Ty being overly secretive about everything, it just kind of made you roll your eyes. Even when they tried to open up and talk, they still kept their true feelings to themselves at first.
Quinn has finally learned to live with her chronic illness, and she is doing what she can to help others in her shoes. While working to get her nutrition certification, she is teaching classes on how to cook for certain allergies. When Ty, her ex, comes home for summer break her whole world is turned upside down. They had broken up 3 years ago and have not spoken or seen each other since. Ty has a reason for coming home, but he keeps it all to himself, not sure how to work through his reasoning.
Quinn and Ty have amazing chemistry, I loved the banter and the pull between them. They truly had Sweet Home Alabama vibes. The small-town charm reminded me of Stars Hollow, I loved the characters and the town festival.
All the movie, tv show, music references got to be a bit much for me.
Thank you to NetGalley and Krysti Meyer for the advanced copy of Never Getting Back Together.

This book is told through Quinn’s POV! This story starts with a hilarious splash! Quinn sees her ex boyfriend for the first time in 3 years and it isn’t a very happy reunion!
Ty was the love of her life but he left town when Quinn needed him the most and the hurt she Carries runs deep.
I really liked how Quinn was her crazy, silly self! She is who she is and she is strong! Life has thrown some curve balls at her and she’s trying to juggle them all the best she can she just needs to learn to trust!
Ty definitely had a-lot of patience and I liked that even when she pushed him away he still stood there waiting for her to love him again! I do wish that Quinn was more open to convos because though she was strong she sometimes stood in her own way.

This was such a sweet small town romance. The setting was so beautiful and I loved the romance. It was so cute. I would highly recommend this book for the summer time

More YA for my tastes but still a feel good read. I had a hard time getting into it but about 1/3 through I was sucked in by the banter and I feel like that’s what pulled
Me through. Great for anymore wanting a quick romcom.

I’d prob give this a 3.5, it’s a quick read and the only reason I didn’t finish in one sitting, is because we were still cleaning up after Thanksgiving! There is a good pace and I appreciated the information about MCAS, which I wasn’t aware existed! It was a second chance romance, small town, closed door story.
The only thing that irked me, was all the miscommunication. It seemed to drive the story and its not may favorite trope. It was overall, a sweet book and I was genuinely entertained!

For a book that started out somewhat slow in my opinion it soon enough pulled me in. This is a very easy read with a typically storyline for books like this one but still enjoyable

As sweet as the sugary treats in the book and I can’t lie, I loved it!
Set in a small US town, you know, like the ones you see in films, this book centres around a young girl and her fight to be accepted for who she is. As a lead character, Quinn is incredibly likeable and you’re rooting for her from the first page to the last. She has her fair share of tribulations along the way, but a warm ensemble of characters are right by her side throughout.
There are ups, during which you’re cheering along with her…and there are downs, which may have you shedding a tear or two.
‘Never Getting Back Together’ is beautifully written and set at just the perfect pace for a cosy read. The angst parts aren’t overwritten and drawn out and the story moves along brilliantly.
This one is a definite yes from me!

A short but super sweet read! I loved that it was fast paced with amazing banter and laugh out loud moments from the get-go!
I also loved the chronic illness representation and the insight to what it’s like living with such a condition. The author’s note at the end put this even more into perspective and made the whole story feel very personal and relatable.
The characters were so well written, and I loved all the supporting characters and their personalities.
In summary; sweet and witty, with enemies to lovers tension and a whole lot of top tier banter!
