This beautiful cover instantly peaked my interest - how fun & colourful! I love that the engaging illustrations also carried on into the inside too. However, I don't think the layout of the contents of this book did justice for the meaning & importance of the information inside. I found it quite boring & one-tone.

This is a really informative and accessible book which explains the history of LGBTQIA+ in a way that most children will easily be able to grasp.

The illustrations are colourful and beautifully done, adding to the overall reading experience.

The symbols and cues are explained well, and it was so interesting to read about the ways in which these forms of communication developed over time.

The book is an excellent tool with which to teach children about diversity and inclusivity in a way that they can relate to.

This is a super cute picture book for children to teach them about queer history and symbols. I even learned a couple of new ones for myself.

This would be a great addition to any inclusive bookshelf, especially with the discussion prompts at the end, which would be perfect for use in the classroom.

I will definitely be buying a copy of this.

This story has beautiful illustrations to go along with the simple and direct explanations of LGBTQIA+ signs and symbols. And I learned a few new things too. There are even discussion questions included

I absolutely loved this book! First it’s absolutely beautifully illustrated and kids will love it! More important, it is incredibly informative but in an extremely accessible way. The only thing I don’t love about this book is its release date, I would love to gift this at an upcoming baby shower for friends of mine who are gay. I love to see such an inclusive children’s book!
