Marni Mann can do no wrong in my eyes. And Mr wicked delivered again. This who series is one of my favorites.

This was my first book by Marni Mann and I'm a little disappointed in it. Usually, I love an asshole grumpy man but this one wasn't it. Grayson Tanner had no redeeming qualities to the very end and I mean to the very end. Grayson was this big billionaire businessman who didn't respect women because of how butt hurt he was by his mom when he was a kid. Rather than be a big boy and go to therapy he decided he hated women. All Grayson thought of was himself and barely even his business partners who were supposed to be like family to him. The way he treated his two partners made me mad, he had absolutely no regard for them and their hard work and completely dismissed them because of how badly he fucked up but I digress. Grayson was a literal dirtbag to Jovana yet the girl couldn't stay away.
Moving on to Jovana, I couldn't stand her for the majority of the book. She had no backbone, and no personality other than being obsessed with Grayson no matter how badly he treated her or told her he wanted nothing but sex from her. I'm not a fan of FMC who let men stomp all over them rather than stand up for themselves and tell them off. Yet as soon as Grayson breathed in her general area she was a goner. All she did was complain and complain about Grayson yet she never told him to f off.
Now, as for them being a couple it felt forced the majority of the time which I suppose was purposeful because if this being an arranged dating/marriage. Towards the end when things picked up it got better. Once Grayson became a human with feelings he was great and loving towards Jovana, which I did like to see how he went from a piece of shit to a caring man.

Overall, I don't see myself reading the rest of this series. I am going to try another one of Marni's books as this one just might not have been my thing and another one of hers could be.

Grayson and Jovana had a one-night stand, and she felt something more. Grayson was an a**hole to her though and he was set on his playboy ways. But that led to a scandal for his company, and to fix things, he needed to fake date someone…that someone being Jovana.

Fake dating and reformed playboy are a couple of my favorite tropes. But I don’t like when the MMC is still a playboy after he meets the FMC. And Grayson is was still an a**hole after they started fake dating. And it took me a long time to like him.

I did still enjoy the story, but it wasn’t my favorite.

This author never disappoints with her stories. Its just as steamy, just as angsty and just has funny as all the others in this series and I had a blast!

Mr. Wicked is book two in Marni Mann’s Hooked series and can be read as a standalone. Grayson needs good PR and finds himself in a marriage of convenience with Jovana, an ex fling he can’t get out of his head.

This book had several of my favorite tropes and I always enjoy Marni’s alpha heroes. I now know going into her books that many of her heroes are similar and the books itself tend to have similar plots/styles. I enjoyed this couple’s journey and some of the little plot twists along the way.

Author Marni Mann does it again! Mr. Wicked might just be my new favorite book by Marni Mann.

This is book 2 in the Hooked series. It focuses on Grayson and Jovana. And they are fantastic.

Grayson is the perfectly imperfect alphahole I didn't know I needed in my life. He's a gorgeous billionaire CEO with attitude and an aversion to relationships. She is a young, beautiful social media influencer who believes in love. Perfect match right? One night changes everything.

The story captivated me from the start. The chemistry between Grayson and Jovana is off the charts. Their banter is snarky, witty and entertaining. They are the epitome of opposites attract. I loved their journey and how their relationship developed.

Mr. Wicked is the perfect beach read or staying in on a rainy weekend read. It's the perfect escape from reality. It is steamy with humor and the right amount of drama to keep the pages turning. Definitely recommend! Cant wait for the next one.

Marni, I don’t know how you do it, but you never freaking miss.

Grayson and Jovana’s story was one of the most unconventional stories I have read but I loved it so much. Their marriage of convenience is not something I read often but it was so good. I loved the way it all played out.

I am still just soaking in the absolute bliss (read book hangover) that I get from Marni’s books. Just over here waiting for Holden’s book.

Marni is becoming a go-to author for me. Ever since reading the first book in the series. I couldn't wait for Grayson's book. It was everything I hoped for. I look forward to reading more of her books.

What is Marni writing in these books that has me so addicted? I love Jovanna and alphahole Grayson together in one of my fave tropes fake dating/marriage of convenience. The spice is always on point in these books and it’s steamy from the get go no slow burn here! I’m really loving the hooked series so far and the guys are just top notch. Also no third act break up which is always a bonus for me and one thing I absolutely love.

Mr. Wicked was AMAZING! I absolutely loved where this story took me. Marni's writing is always evolving into something new and Mr. Wicked was no exception.

Were back to the dating app that is skyrocketing everybody’s love life making dreams come true. Only thing is Grayson Tanner is making it seem like it’s all a fake. Here is a guy who believe love can’t possibly happen especially marriage. Then we have Jovana Winters, who is one of the few people who still believe in love at first sight and the happily ever afters. Two people so opposite from each other yet actually are like two peas in a pod. The chemistry is definitely all there but Marnie Mann shows us that sometimes love can really happen without the physical part. Seeing these two together we see a connection they never expected in a way Jovana brings out the goodness in Grayson. All his life he has never settled, never finding the unforgettable so to speak. See all the women he’s been with never stayed on his mind but then wowza he meets Jovana. Have to say there is nothing like a woman mad to really get you to think about things you could have done better than worse.Not only do we these two but we see Easton and Drake even Holden, the brains behind the app and boy this is a friendship that really helps one another. This was a great story to see and one worth waiting for by Marnie Mann for Mr. Wicked can be good, bad, naughty but in the end he is just like all bad boys you want to teach that love does exist of course with the right woman.

As Always Marni starts off with Spice! She never disappoints. I enjoyed how Fiesty Jovana was even when MR. WICKED Grayson told her how it was going to go after their one night stand. Jovana seemed to second guess herself each time her and Grayson got together but when she realized Grayson wasn't a relationship man she left him high and dry and loved that about her. She gave as good as she took.
After some media scandals occur and they start to threaten his company’s success Grayson is forced to let go of is bachelor ways and show the world the even Mr.Wicked is capable of being “hooked” and that’s when things get interesting.

I ended up really enjoying this one. I really liked Jovana’s fiery attitude and how she didn’t allow Grayson to just walk all over her despite her feelings for him. And Grayson, it took me a bit, but I fell for that man. He has a bit of a traumatic past, which is what has lead to his no commitment lifestyle, but watching him come to terms with his feelings was just incredibly sweet.

I am definitely cannot wait where single daddy Holden get’s his turn at being hooked.

Grayson and Jovana hooked me from when they first met (pun intended). Who doesn’t love the bad boy falls for the good girl trope?? Honestly one of my favorites. Grayson is the type of guy who no one thinks will ever settle down and Jovana is the type of girl who seems like she’ll settle for someone. When she’s put in a situation that could potentially change her entire life, how could she possibly refuse?

For a good part of this book you’re convinced these 2 just won’t figure it out, even though you know deep down that they will. It was truly a very sweet (and spicy) story that I thoroughly enjoyed reading! I’ve already recommended it to several friends so it’s safe to say that I will continue to do so!

I love a good grump x sunshine, fake dating, reformed playboy moment!

You could see the instant connection from the second we met Grayson & Jovana. Even though Grayson never thought he would be the person to settle down (despite creating the "marriage" arm of the dating app he made with his buds). he can't deny that he can't stop thinking about Jovana.

When she steps in to help his company after a PR scandal, he really can't deny things. I loved their connection and vulnerability with each other. I think the mindsets of both characters fit them, but I loved their character development. I couldn't help but root for them the entire time!

I also loved seeing our couple from book 1!

Grayson Tanner is one of the founders of the dating app Hooked. He doesn’t do relationships and he’s said proudly he enjoys being a bachelor. Which causes a PR nightmare when people get wind of how he feels even though he owns a successful dating app.

Jovana is a waitress/social media influencer that he meets and has a one night stand with. What better way to improve Grayson’s image than pretend to be together.

Marni’s writing, the characters, and overall storyline has me always wanted to read her books and this one was so good!

Mr. Wicked......swoon, checks blushing and hands fanning. Greyson is definitely wicked with his words, looks and tongue, He is the poster boy for rich bachelor, enjoying the single life, his money, success and any women willing. We love when a man is hit in his chest with all the feels when he wants none of them. Mr. Wicked is book two in the Hooked series, and Greyson is the lucky man right now. It is a stand alone and doesn't need to be read in order which i love. I love how the "love story" literally starts from chapter one. When his friends and him are at a bar and he spots a beauty that he just needs to know.

Jovana knows what she wants and wont compromise or give up. Shes the type of woman to go toe to toe with even the biggest men. She got the last laugh of her being the one to leave and give two middle fingers to Greyson. Thinking she'll never have to deal with him again. The irony though, after a PR disaster, Greyson is tasked now to "find love" and get married. The last thing he ever wants to do. Jovana wants the real true marraige, not a no strings attached, fake one, but shes willing to help Greyson at this moment.

This book took you for a wild ride, These two were complete opposites but worked so well. Jovana was alot younger than Greyson but knew what she wanted out of life more that he did. Its definitely a fun quick read, that has the perfect grumpy alpha billionaire, and the sweet sunshine FMC. The plot was amazing, the build up of the actual relationship was perfect and the ending wrapped everything nicely in a pretty bow. Watching Greyson squirm and do something that was as bad as pulling teeth was so much fun. Watching the growth between the characters was what i truly wanted and got. I did enjoy the book and cant wait to see where the rest of this series takes us!

This book was everything! It gave me all the feels especially towards the end. But I swear Marni Mann delivers every time with her men. Definitely recommend.
