I tried reading this book but it couldn't get a grip on me, so after 30% in the book I decided to quit the book.
Therefore, I don't think I can write a solid review on this. This book just wasn't fitting my interests. I did however very much like the cover, so that's a good thing.

A bold and passionate story about second chances which you will not want to put down late into the night. It has unexpected twists and turns which will have you recommending it to every reader you know.

It was very good until 70-75%, where the main characters’ development seems to just disappear and they start behaving like inmature, irrational people. I know the situation was complicated, but that wasn’t an excuse to destroy their partner’s feelings.

Romance and family dynamics create an interesting storyline. Well written characters. Thanks to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book

I don’t think this book was for me. I finished it for the sake of being able to give a full and honest review. The story felt very dramatic almost like I was watching a telenovela. If you enjoy dramatic and unexpected twists and turns this is for you. For me it just felt too dramatic, too fast and I didn’t have a real connection to any of the characters.

This book started out super strong but fell a little flat for me.

The protagonist, Sofia, experienced a lot in this book, starting with her husband and kids dying in a plane crash. She was incredibly depressed afterward. Eventually, she met Michael, and he helped her move on. The story had a lot of mystery and trauma that kept unfolding.

There was a plot twist three-quarters of the way in that surprised me. I will say, this book was not easy to predict!

One part that bothered me was Michaels reaction to her not moving on from her ex. It rubbed me the wrong way. I didn't feel like he should be so vocal about it.

Overall, this book was too "insta-love" for me, and their relationship felt unrealistic.

I think this story started out super strong, but the rest felt pretty bland.

Thank you, Netgalley, for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!

Rated 2.5 and rounded up!
