So, this book is exactly what the title says. The author's journey to, that's TO, Alaska. I think there is one sentence at the end of the book that says that he has arrived in Alaska. That's all we hear about Alaska. Along the way we are told about his e-bike trip up the coast. This trip contains nothing more than how much battery his e-bike has, what time he awoke, what he had to eat, how wet he got in the rain. Sometimes he mentions people he has met, but not in depth. He hardly mentions scenery. Although there was one time he mentioned that the woods he road through were amazing. They were amazing three times in the same paragraph. There is no depth to the writing. I do apologize for this review, I don't think I have ever left such a negative one. But we are asked for honesty. I am sure however, that someone does like this book more than I disliked it. I thank NetGalley and Atmosphere Press for the advanced read.
