If you are a fan of Tangled, much like I am, then I definitely recommend this one! Christina Lauren nailed the vibes completely. It was charming, sweet and overall enjoyable!

This contemporary fairy tale is a fun retelling of Tangled. I loved the grumpy sunshine trope and slow burn. I wasn't expecting to enjoy this as much as I did. I was laughing and smiling along with this story and it was fun to follow along and compare to the movie.

okay i absolutely love Tangled so much. i was very excited for this, and it did not disappoint!! their dynamic and chemistry was to Flynn and Repunzel!! it was so cute, and funny! such an overall lighthearted read!

Tangled Up in You by Christina Lauren was an absolutely delightful read that made my Disney-loving heart so happy. This book is a modern-day retelling of Tangled, the story is cute, fast-paced, and full of little twists and turns and one huge one I wasn't expecting even a little bit. There were also a lot of funny moments, as Ren was so sheltered that she had never even held an iPhone, the modern world had so much she knew nothing about. I loved Ren's innocence and Fitz's genuine kindness as they crossed the country. If you're a fan of Christina Lauren, this book doesn't have the usual spice factor. It's on the very low end, which I think was wholly appropriate for this story.

Loved it. Sheltered Homesteader girl wants to see the world and go to college against her parents wishes. She gets paired up with the intelligent popular jock boy and they end up on a road trip together. Clean romance, pg to pg13 - no steam.
I do miss when Christina Lauren wrote all the smut but I am still thankful to them for receiving this advanced copy.

What a unique and different rom-com!
This was actually my first time reading a re-telling.
Ren and Fitz's story was super cute but a tad predictable. But, it was a super fun and quick read. It's not really something I'd read again and not sure that retellings are for me.
But, I love Christina Lauren books!
2.5/5 stars

Not as good as By the Book, but that could be because I love Belle more than Tangled. Still a nice romance and I love the theme and throwback to Rapunzel.

Absolutely love this Disney series. This one wasn’t my favorite of the series so far. It took a while for me to get the Tangled vibes from it.

the rapunzel vibes are everything! i absolutely adored Ren and Fitz together. i’ didn’t realize i needed a modern rapunzel retelling until Tangled Up In You, and it delivered so perfectly!

Tangled Up in You
Rating: 4/5
I feel a little silly because I had no idea this was part of a series of standalones. I will definitely have to go back and read the other ones. Additionally, I have never seen Tangled... oops! I have read a ton of Rapunzel retellings though and this one is going to the top of the list! I enjoyed the chemistry between the characters and modern twist on the classic fairy tale.
Tropes:
–Fairy Tale Retelling
–Grumpy x Sunshine
–Road Trip
–Forced Proximity
–Only One Bed

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read and review an advanced copy of this novel. I highly enjoyed it and will be recommending it to others.

I always read Christina Lauren books so was excited to get an ARC of this one. Loved the "retelling" of Tangled/Repunzel and while this was not as steamy as her other books it was still a sweet read. The movie references had me giggling and it was a cute rom-com that was easy to read in one sitting! Thank you to NetGalley and Hyperion Avenue for the ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book was slow to start but eventually I warmed up to it. This was the "Rapunzel" themed book of the series. I thought the authors did a good job bringing the fairytale to real life. 3 stars

I love these authors and anything they write is perfection. I saw this being offered and it was a no brainer to request it. Overall, I loved this retelling of Tangled so much. It was a Disney story for the parents!I loved the twists and also the fact that there was no spice!

This was adorably cheesy and that's totally a good thing. It definitely had moments needing the reader to suspend belief but it was so cute!

Well, this was adorable.
I loved Ren and Fitz so much. They embodied the Tangled characters while also being their own, unique creations. Of course I loved the nods to the movie, especially the frying pan.
Plot wise, it's sweet and fun while also a bit dark and sad and I loved the juxtaposition. I could have easily done with more at the end, but the footnote (of sorts) said what needed to be said.
Overall, CLo was the perfect match for Tangled.
**Huge thanks to the publisher for providing the arc free of charge**

Christina Lauren is always an auto read for me and this may not be their usual type of book but it was still so much fun! A YA retelling of Rapunzel is just pure fun! I flew through this one!
.
Thank you #hyperion and #NetGalley for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review

This felt like a slow burn that took forever to get going. It wasn’t in the usual style of Christina Lauren. I would recommend this for someone who like cleaner romance and is trying to get into the genre.

This book was ADORABLE. I think it was the perfect balance of Christina Lauren + Disney! All the characters were portrayed perfect + I found myself giggling the entire book! Can't wait to read the rest of the books from this series!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ (3.5/5)
This one was cute but took a bit for me to get invested. It def reads like a YA. The steamiest scene is a kiss. I def prefer CL’s spicier reads.
This was a sweet, lighthearted read until the middle-end which gave more suspenseful vibes.
It was good though and the “The End” page was a cute little quick ending which worked well for the story.
I liked it but it just wasn’t my favorite of CL’s books.
