Oh boy... I was intrigued to read this after reading the.. interesting.. blurb. But alas, I was disappointed. This book was just all over the place... there were too many plot lines and not enough time spent on them. The book was much too short to go in so many different directions. Characters and ideas and plots were introduced and then discarded, I can't quite put into words the disorganization. It was kind of comical.. and I think I will read the next one just for the sake of it!

I struggled with Truckee Wolves: Toxic. Maybe because it's the beginning of a series so there's a lot of world building in there which took away from their story. It felt at times like info dump, too much in too short a story.

Briony and Rico's relationship was short-changed, and could have done with more page time.

Found this book to be really interesting and loved the characters.
