Another well written story in this suspense and drama filled series and like in all Katie's books we get to reconnect with previous couples

A year earlier Jayce Kazan the enforcer of the shifter council broke human Kat Saburova heart when he walked away it wasn't that he didn't love her but he knew that his life as a shifter was far to dangerous for a human so he left for her safety Now she has been turned in an attack that almost killed her and he is determined to do whatever he needs to protect her The only problem is she won't forgive him for walking away from her and she is tough in either her human or wolf form. Can they reconnect and can thy have a future You will have to read to see

An Exciting Read!

I’ve been looking forward to Jayce and Kat’s story and I have to say I simply loved it!

You can feel the intense passion and emotion through every page.

Jayce, one sexy, mean possessive Alpha enforcer had let her go once but this time against all odds he was determined to keep her. Convincing Kat of this was proving harder than he imagined and after everything she had gone through, he was going to be patient and give her the support she needed.

I love the witty moments, wow the steam, the romance and how some of the well loved characters from previous books appear within the storyline to create a page-turning, action packed recommended read!

I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

would like to thank netgalley and the publisher for letting me read this book

Jayce Kazan is a shifter but hes also an enforcer, he is very old and has many enemies

Kat Saburova is jayce kazan weakness, hes avoided making her his mate due to the many enemies he has but when kat was kidnapped and then nearly died it was only by chance that she was turned and not by him, much to his regret

during her kidnapping kat was tortured so badly and jayce realised that he could no longer live without her but he has a lot of ground to make up and kat isnt making it easy

the apl are still around and are making it difficult for the pack and with the vampire blood being sold illegally jayce very much has his work cut of for him

brilliant read in this series, it just gets better and better...cant wait for the next book in this brilliant series to be made available

I received an advanced reader's copy of Mating Instinct by Katie Reus from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Overall, I enjoyed this novel and it made for a quick, easy read. The main characters - Kat and Jayce - were an interesting match but they worked as a couple. Their banter was entertaining, they had decent chemistry, and they were pretty cute together. This novel was well written, the action moved swiftly, and the plot was engaging.

This story was a little grittier than the last two, I thought. Jayce was a wolf shifter but also the North American enforcer, which meant he was bigger and tougher and way harder to kill. Considering he was 500 years old, I guess that would be true. He had had an affair with Kat a year ago but she left him when she thought he didn't care enough about her. He did but he knew she was targeted by the APL ( a group against shifter). She was continuely angry at him but still wanted him. When Kat was kidnapped and almost killed, another shifter had to turn her or she would have died. He had a real hard time dealing with that. Then when she had a plan to make herself bait to bring out the Apl boss, he really struggled with that but it was a good plan and they went ahead with it.
This book had alot going for it and it was a hard book to put down.

I got this book from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review

Katie went above and beyond with this book. There is intrigue, with a touch of magic, danger, excitement, and heat, keeping me glued to the edge of my seat until the last page. As always her characters are engaging and I felt drawn to their plight. It is always good to catch up with other members of the pack, I can't wait to see what's next.

The author went above and beyond with this book. She started with an air of intrigue, and then added a touch of magic, rounding it out with danger, excitement, and heat, keeping me glued to the edge of my seat until the last page. As always her characters are engaging and I felt drawn to their plight. This story was on the darker edge of romance, but it was oh so good. This was a fantastic story and I can’t wait to see what she thinks up next.

This book cranks up the heat in Katie Reus' Moon Shifter series. Kat, a brave human, bounced when Jayce, the brooding Shifter enforcer, couldn't meet her needs. Fast forward a year, an attack turns Kat into a shifter, and guess who's back in the picture? Yep, Jayce is ready to break every rule to save her. Their love story is a rollercoaster of passion, misunderstandings, and danger. Reus weaves a tale where every page sizzles with chemistry and emotional intensity. What sets this series apart is how it seamlessly threads past and future couples. This story is a wild ride of tension, action, and good romance. I can't wait for the next one!
