There were some aspects to this book that I just didn't get on with, such as having no backbone in scenes with Benjamin, being followed by cameras into the toilet, a fight that took place purely for drama, and the monologue of the accumulation of her life choices at her age which just didn't seem very empowering (unwed, no kids, 35).

I love a book that has a good focus on grandparents because they just seem so sweet and wholesome. It just adds some extra fun to the narrative. It felt a little quick at the end but was enjoyable none the less

What a fun, feel good story that encompasses family, friends and flirtatious men! I have to say that I haven't laughed this much, while reading a book. The author did a splendid job creating a cast of characters so real, honest with crazy personalities to boot! Natalie finds more romance than she expected, with mishaps galore along the way. There are subplots aplenty and infectious banter that the reader will adore. I highly recommend reading, MISS WRONG AND MR RIGHT. It's just like a sloe gin fizz cocktail! Slightly tart, delightfully balanced and refreshingly sweet!

I wasn't sure when I saw that one of my favourite crime writers was dabbling in rom com

It was pleasantly surprised (I will admit that I did not have huge expectations, not for the writing itself, because I know he can write. I was just worried about how he would convert that to a lighter genre)

Natalie's life is a bit of a mess, and at times I just all ugh, get over yourself girl. But then her grandma would show up in her life and give her the levity that i needed.

To me, it wasn't really that rommy or commy, but it was still a story that kept me interested enough

I absolutely love Robert’s rom com books and fell in love with them many years ago when i read his Coco Pinchard series of books - which i have to add are all absolutely hilarious and such good books!

This book was also wonderful right from the very first page and consistently right until the very end.

It was so so funny and kept me giggling along all the way through. Trust me when i say that this book will put you in a good mood and is well worth a read.

Miss Wrong And Mr Right had sentiment, many funny moments, flirtiest and romance and i honestly highly recommend it to put you in a good mood……..

Such a great and lovely story! I am not really a fan of a romantic novel, but I liked this one. First of all I was hooked by the setting, theatre and London fit greatly together and the characters fitted the setting too. The characters are lovable and you can really imagine them being real people. I really liked the idea of the family which belongs together even though it is not that easy. Most of all I liked the grandma, she was a real secret protagonist of the story.
I recommend this book!

At nineteen it took walking down the aisle for Natalie Love to realize she was too young and not ready for marriage. Running from her wedding Natalie finds herself with her Gran burning her wedding dress and being chastised by her mother for not going through with it. When her fiancee gives her the ultimatum of wedding or nothing Natalie chooses to leave for London with her Gran to find her own way in life.

Now fifteen years later Natalie is the manager of a successful theater company who has brought in a famous actor from the United States to be the lead in their next play. She also hasn't married yet but finds herself in an unsatisfying relationship with her yoga instructor Benjamin. When Natalie finds that her theater is going to get new competition she's more than a bit surprised to find out that the new owner opening a show across the street is none other than Natalie's ex fiancee.

Miss Wrong and Mr Right is actually the fourth book I've read by Robert Bryndza but the first three were a police procedural thriller series. Having loved the first three books I'd read I made a note at the time that Mr. Bryndza also wrote romance reads and thought I should pick one of those up some time. Well when seeing Miss Wrong and Mr Right up for review I just had to read this one and boy am I glad I did.

This story is a romantic comedy and it certainly didn't take long at all for the laughing to begin. There's nothing better than a book that brings out whatever emotion in a reader that it is aiming for them to feel and in this one it was a ton of laughs. Natalie's Gran steals the show very early on in this book and she really didn't let go the whole read, such a funny and unique character, I absolutely adored her. But even though Gran stole the show with the laughs it was also a great story with Natalie finding her way in life and searching for her own happiness.

Overall, another winner from Robert Bryndza, whether a thriller or romance read I've enjoyed all that I've read so far and will certainly pick up more from him in the future.

I love Robert Bryndza's thrillers and was a little surprised to see that he'd written a rom com, so even though its not really my go to genre I thought that I'd give it a go and I wasn't disappointed. I was hooked from the beginning and flew through it, the characters were likeable and funny and the ending is a little predictable but then again isn't that the same with most rom coms. It was a thoroughly enjoyable read

I realized this book was a re-release after receiving the ARC but I wanted to read the novel as I read some of the authors’ mystery/thrillers. This was not what I was really expecting but it was a good read and I am glad I went for it. The book lacked some of the things that keep readers attention in current times but I still read on. It did not disappoint.

According to NetGalley, the release date for both the digital and audio versions of this book was December 8, 2023, but I’ve also found that the book was first published in 2016. I wish the publisher had provided more context on NetGalley to explain this.

This book centers on the daily life of Natalie Love, who runs a successful theater in London’s West End, and is about to host one of Hollywood’s leading stars. Though a variety of ups and downs and laugh out loud, cringe-worthy, and heartwarming moments, Natalie discovers more about who she is and who her “one” might, or might not, be. I found Natalie’s character to be entertaining, but not entirely relatable. I wanted her to have a bit more depth, but that’s often sacrificed in this genre. But, I adored the cast of supporting characters, especially that of her Gran, which were presented as colorful and comical caricatures.

While I enjoyed the overall premise of the book, my reading experience would have been dramatically enhanced if this book was edited more carefully. Now, I will proudly own that I am a grammar snob. I found the inconsistent use of punctuation, particularly commas and question marks, to be extremely distracting, to the point that I had to switch to the audiobook version in order to complete the book. Editing is such a critical part of the reading experience, and it was sorely neglected in this case. However, switching to the audiobook version ended up being a very pleasant surprise, as Jan Kramer masterfully managed a variety of accents and provided a smoothness to the story that the text alone was sorely lacking.

I found the book’s treatment and stereotyping of homosexuality to be very problematic. Assuming that a group of women is “a group of lesbians” with no context other than the fact that they enjoy watching a curling match? Insinuating that because a male coworker is gay, that women can feel free to engage in “guilt-free ogling”? There was so much potential in this book to develop more robust characters, and that potential was largely squandered on generic characterizations and offensive clichés.

I read this book as a lighter read after several denser ones, and found it to fit that bill well. If you’re looking for a light, silly read that would translate well to a troped-up rom-com movie, this will not disappoint. If you’re looking for a rom-com with a bit more meat, I’d look elsewhere.

Enjoy this author and have read all of his thriller books! This book was a completely different genre so I was very interested to read it! I enjoyed the characters and storyline though became a bit predictable in the middle, I persevered as I wanted/ hoped the ending would be what I had hoped for! I wasn’t disappointed

I love this author and have read so many of his crime and thriller books. I was intrigued as to whether I would enjoy one of his romantic comedies, and am so pleased to say that I absolutely loved it! We meet Natalie Love who runs a theatre in London. She has a yoga loving boyfriend Benjamin, has just welcomed Ryan, a big American actor, to her theatre for a run of Macbeth, and has found her ex-fiance, Jamie opening a pop up theatre right opposite hers! There are so many things going on and nothing seems to be going right for Natalie!

This was such a funny book and was a welcome relief to read something that was just so light-hearted and easy to follow! I loved Natalie's character, she was so likeable and her story instantly grabbed me from the very beginning! Her relationship with her best friend, Sharon was delightful and I absolutely loved her Hungarian grandmother, Anouska (and the way that the author wrote her Hungarian accent was perfect and gave her a voice I could hear as I read!!). The storyline of Natalie's love triangle was mesmerising, and I was kept wondering whether she'd stay with Benjamin, be tempted by Ryan or go back to Jamie!

I laughed and laughed my way through this book! The author is certainly very good at creating funny situations and I loved Anouska's new toe and the pigeon incident! If you're looking for an hilarious, light-hearted romantic comedy, then look no further! The author is a master of both crime and romance - is there nothing he can't turn his hand to!! Would definitely recommend!

I found this book lacking. I am all for a sweet, silly rom-com but I like to have some level of depth or purpose to the story. In Beach Read by Emily Henry we see that just because someone is sometimes guarded and hard to love doesn't make them any less deserving of that love, in Say you'll be Mine by Naina Kumar we see an interesting cultural study and a man struggling to overcome his fears about himself in order to learn to let love in, with Dead Romantics by Ashley Poston we see a beautiful exploration or grief and love and the intersection of the two. This book just felt flat to me. Our characters felt less like people and more like caricatures. I got about 40% of the way through this book and knew it just wasn't for me and decided to not finish it.

There’s nothing like a Robert Bryndza book to make your life just that little bit better. This is light hearted, funny, down to earth in places and cheered me up immensely on a horrible grey, wet January day.

I’m not sure how he manages to make all his books so good as he covers so many genres. This romantic comedy was as perfect as his crime thrillers, if you’ve not read them…you’ll not be disappointed!

I associate crime and thriller with Robert Bryndza, in particular his Erika Foster series so I did a double take when I saw this one being advertised. it turns out, it’s a re-release, which is fantastic as somehow along the way, I had missed this one in his back catalogue.
Miss Wrong and Mr Right is a lighthearted and enjoyable romantic comedy that follows Natalie Love, who is in a relationship with Benjamin and runs a successful London theatre that is about to star Hollywood’s Ryan Harrison, in Macbeth. However, her life takes a bit of an unexpected turn when her jilted ex-fiancé, Jamie, shows up in town and she finds herself torn between Benjamin, Jamie and Ryan! I have to say that out of everyone, Gran was my favourite character.
This is the perfect read for anyone looking for a cozy escape, written by a clearly, versatile author.

Miss Wrong and Mr Right is an entertaining, very humorous feel good romance.
Natalie leave her fiancé Jamie at the altar, although she still loves him. She has bigger plans for her life and feels she’s too young to settle down. 15 years later she now runs a successful theatre in SoHo and is about to show Macbeth with a big American film star playing the lead.
Her yoga teaching boyfriend Benjamin is not showing any interest about moving in with her causing her to wonder about their relationship.
Re enter Jamie who is producing a show right opposite her theatre causing conflict and re emergence of emotions for him.
With a wonderful cast of characters especially Natalie’s Hungarian Gran there are many genuinely funny laugh out loud situations throughout this story make it a real page turner.
From a brilliant author and a big change from his usual thrillers Mr Bryndza has completely nailed it in this romantic comedy.
