After reading Accidental Attachment I was so excited for Sammy's story! The whole time I was hooked and wondering what was going to happen next! Between Noah and Gavin, I sure have a favorite, and I'm glad it was the decision she went with in the end. This novel had me crying, laughing, and blushing!

Sammy is a single mom of two kids roped between two men. The story is fast paced ad the characters are interesting. I loved Noah for Sammy and HATED Gavins arrogant self. This book will make you smile and root for the characters love story.

A great read. Just enough conflict, heat, and build-up to keep you involved without it getting monotonous. The characters are relatable and their conflicts are easy to believe, none of that feeling of "just get over yourself already", or that "you have got to be kidding me, there is no reason that anyone can be that dense" thoughts when you are reading the book. A definite must read in my opinion. Everything I expect from these authors. I can't wait to read more books in this series.

This book was a quick refreshing read. Sammy is a single mom of two young boys in her early forties. She has a chaotic life and isn’t sure she’s ready to add anything to the mix. She also has two men vying for her attention. One is a business man who seems to be saying all the right things. The other is a doctor who she can’t bring herself to believe is actually interested.

After some cleared up misunderstandings and some twists it’s clear who the right choice is and they fit perfectly.

I really enjoyed the relationship between the main characters and side characters in this book, along with their support for each other. This was my first book by Max Monroe and I truly enjoyed it. I was left happy but definitely would have enjoyed more of these wonderful characters.

Thank you NetGalley and Max Monroe for the opportunity to read this book!

4.5/5

I loved this book, definitely my favourite out of the series. It was well paced and Noah and Sammy's story was really unique (at least I haven't read anything similar) and I loved it.

I didn't really understand the whole Gavin thing. At first I thought we were going to be getting a love triangle between two great guys, but it became obvious very quickly that Gavin was a dick, and I think the story would've been just as great without him in it. Although I do like that he made Sammy realise just how amazing Noah is. I also loved how unsubtle Brooke was trying to get those two together.

I'm a bit upset we didn't get to see or hear anything about Katy and Mack. I know that they aren't close to each other, but as there was a whole book about them, I hoped we'd get a little bit more of an insight into their lives.

I think we can all agree that Dale sucks. Kendall is a trooper and I desperately need a book about her finding true love.

Overall, I loved this book and I highly recommend it.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book by Max Monroe. It was fun to catch up with the characters from Accidentally Yours. Noah and Sammy were made for each other, and Sammy's sister, Brooke, is always telling them. Reading a Max Monroe book is always full of laughs and a must read.

Right from the lead characters to the supporting characters, I loved everything in this book. The main plotline was for a single mother of two notorious kids trying to go back to dating and explore her romantic life again but the subplotlines , the story of the supporting characters was interesting too.
I am simply amazed at the fact that how beautiful the author has knitted in so many things together yet not making it messy but instead the overall experience of reading this was so amazing and wonderful.
I will be definitely looking forward to read more work of this author.

I had read the previous book and I was so glad to be able to get this book from NetGalley..

Sammy is a harried single mother, with two rambunctious boys. They seem to get into a lot of trouble, or they are vomiting. But Sammy is blessed with a wonderful nanny, Zoe, and her sister, along with the sister's fiancé. Her ex-husband wants nothing to do with her or the boys.

Then suddenly two men are interested in Sammy. One is a gorgeous anesthesiologist and the other is a handsome, successful business man who hosts business dinners at the restaurant she manages.

This rom-com is funny and engrossing. Loved the characters, loved the story-telling. There is some sex, but it isn't a novel that focused on it.

Hit by a cab and when you wake up there is another woman next to your boyfriend.

Sammy is divorced with tow boys and working, always not being enough for both sides of her life and also a woman between two man, on one side the business man and on the other the doctor and her best friend.

Difficult story but so heartwarming, and special and with many surpises.

Have fun reading!

Cluelessly Yours follows Sammy who we met in Accidental Attachment. Sammy is a 40-ish single mom who is starting over again after divorce. After moving closer to her sister and landing a job, she finds herself being pursued by two men. It was great to see Sammy get her own story and HEA. I like reading books with older characters, it is a nice break from all the coming of age romance out there. I always enjoy the pace and added comedy to Max Monroe’s books, and this one was no different. But I did find the lack of communication between Sammy and Noah frustrating! And I did feel like the relationship with Gavin was just weird. Overall, I recommend this book for those looking for a fun, easy read. I do think that reading Accidental Attachment first will enhance the reading experience.

Clueless Yours by Max Monroe
This is a fantasy novel in which a single mom with 2 boys in her 40s has two successful men fighting over her in NYC! Have these writers ever been to Manhattan? Going to diners, a glass of wine at a hot bar being $11, a woman affording a 2 bedroom Manhattan apartment off a hostess salary, a doctor and business magnate both lusting after a middle aged woman!?! If they set this book somewhere in the Midwest or south I could kinda believe it. But this would NEVER happen in Manhattan.
I read that people put themselves into the MC's shoes when they read books. So if you love Hallmark movies and want to fantasize about a life in which everything you want could happen for you in Mahattan, this book is for you. Thanks to Net Galley and Max Martin for this eARC in exchange for my honest review.

Thank you NetGalley and Max Monroe for allowing me access to this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I really liked this book! It is part of an interconnected series that includes characters from earlier books but you can read this as a standalone. The story follows recently divorced Sammy who moves to NYC with her 2 boys. She's not ready to begin dating again but that doesn't stop her sister Brooke (character in earlier book) from trying to set her up with Noah, a hot doctor or a business man, Gavin from showing his interest in her. Overall, I had fun reading this book and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys contemporary romance, a love triangle, older main characters (40+), and a single parent story.

Omg! What can I say about this book. . Absolutely loved it. The characters were amazing, the storyline was sweet, funny, whimsical, and captivating.
I couldn’t put it down.
The plot twist had my jaw on the floor!
And if there was a way for me to re-read it again for the first time, I would.
Can’t wait to read more by this author!!

This is a story that happens partially from a portion of Best Fremies and the love story of different main characters. I enjoyed getting to know Sammy and Noah better. There were many cute and funny moments. I feel as though the big conflict to a hea near the end of the book was resolved and people changed their mood way too quickly to be authentic, but it doesn't overshadow my overall enjoyment of this book. You definitely get more interaction and depth with multiple outside characters compared to it being mostly comprised of the male and female leads going back and forth in the previous book.

This dual-POV (part 1 and part 2) love triangle romance was a unique read for me. As a mother to a younger child, I definitely feel for the chaos Sammy goes through, though I can't imagine how much she struggles in her situation. I love every bit of support in her "village" along the way, especially her sister Brooke (who is VERY annoyingly nosy). Sammy's two very energetic boys definitely keep her hands full, and I've experienced many of her same inner thoughts, and it's nice that the author really put the spotlight on how imperfect parenting is, and how we can eternally love but occasionally slightly dislike the choices of our children. I think Grant is my favorite of her kids because he is so sweet and helpful but also adventurous and daring, and he reminds me so much of my little one.

I made a guess as to the choice Sammy would likely have made at the end of the book, and I was right. However, I did NOT expect the reason why one choice was favored over the other to be so… ick.

Likes: The pop culture references were amazing, and I hope the other books have just as many! I also enjoyed the little twists along the way. You spend so much of the book assuming a few things and then it turns unexpectedly!

Dislikes: When about halfway through the book, it became obvious as to what choice would not be happening. At that moment, it was "okay… so what's the rest of the book going to be about then?" I was waiting for a bigger conflict to happen for Sammy, like for her ex to show up either trying to win her back or trying to get custody or something. Not that I would've wanted that to happen, obviously, but some moments were more underwhelming. And, for a reference in the book, I'm looking to be a little more whelmed in my life than I currently am ;)
