I am really enjoying this manga so far. The storyline, while it has drama, isn't OTT and is based in reality. (You catch the BF of your friend on what seems to be a date with another girl. Do you confront him, tell your friend or both? Discuss!)

I really want the friend to end up happy. Moreso than the MC h for some reason. I guess I connected with the friend better? The MC h kind of leaves me cold in the volume tbh. She's not BAD, but is just kind of...there.

I really enjoyed volume 2 of Sakura, Saku. We follow the friendship group on a school outing, where some drama unfolds, and feelings are realised, these are uncommon tropes in the shojo genre but Io Sakisaka makes them feel fresh and the art style as always is utterly gorgeous.
I can’t wait for more!

This volume picks up right after volume one where Saku had her meet up with who she thought was the person that came to her rescue, only to find out that she has the wrong guy! After that she finds herself leaning on Haruki for support and maybe falling for him? But how can she even know what love is when she was so wrong about Ryosuke? You'll have to read this volume to find out!

Gentle friendships begin to develop between many characters in this second volume. When Saku sees her friend's boyfriend out with another girl, she must figure out how to support her friend in changing circumstances

I'm pleasantly surprised by the maturity displayed by the characters in Sakura, Saku vol. 2. So far this is one shoujo manga that displays healthy relationships. I'm interested in seeing how things develop in vol. 3.

I'm loving this manga so far. Of course there are so many like this, however the characters are lovable and make you want to keep reading.

I found this to be even better than the first installment. I thought it was a sweet look at friendship and crushes, and I look forward to seeing where it goes.

Sakura, Saku, Volume 2 picked up from Saku's disappointment of Ryosuke not being "the one" who saved her that day on the train. She at first didn't know how to feel when she realized the guy she really likes is Haruki. He is so kind, gentle and brave. She has to be sure though before she can confess, her last confession did go well at all.

If you are looking for a high school slice of life series with romance like It Started With a Kiss or Kimi Ni Todoke, this series will delight you.

In a nutshell: A quick, fluffy read to enjoy when you’re looking for something lighthearted.

This manga was off to a slow start in the first volume, but the plot picked up in volume 2! I enjoyed reading about the friendship between Saku and Kotono in this volume, and the web of conflict that spiraled from Saku and Ryosuke seeing Kotono’s boyfriend at a café with another girl reminded me of why I enjoy shojo manga: the debate over whether to get involved in other peoples’ relationship issues is always an interesting one to explore. Saku and Ryousuke’s interactions are adorable and incredibly wholesome. They’re both low-key, shy people so watching them gradually peeking out of their shells to tentatively flirt makes for a fun reading experience. The story is quick, pleasant and sugary-sweet.

Additionally, the art in this volume (at least in the ARC I received) was much better than the previous volume. There was a greater diversity of screentones and the lines were more clearly articulated in this digital copy than in volume 1.

I was so excited to get an arc of this manga.

The story continues to be wholesome and wonderful as our main character discovers her true feelings.

Will definitely be continuing the series

This is a solid volume 2, the story arc and character development are progressing nicely. This story does have the problematic friend trope going on, so if that isn't something you like or is really annoys you, you might not enjoy this. However, if you love to hate it, then this is a series you might like. In this story it angered me so much when a character acts like that, but I can't help but keep reading to see what happens. Honestly, I love it when an author or mangaka can draw that much emotion from me. I can't wait to keep reading more of this series, and hopefully everything works out for the MCs.

"Sakura, Saku, vol. 2" is once again cute and adorable! Love is blossoming, but friendships are really important in this series as well! I will definitely be continuing this manga!

Sakura, Saku vol 2 starts off right where we left off. Saku has finally confessed to Ryosuke, but now she has to decide if he’s the one she loves… or maybe someone else has already caught her heart’s attention.

I read this so fast. I love Io Sakisaka’s stories (except Strobe edge… don’t mention it). I can literally devour their stories and forget the world exists. Sakura, Saku is no different. I adore the two main characters. I’m already excited to see how the plot with the side characters develop. And I can’t wait to learn more about the second MMC.

The art, as always, is clean and bright and realistic but it in a feminine way. Haruki’s design is so satisfying to me. I love looking at him, is that weird?

Anyway, I await with bated breath for volume 3 and the rest of the series.

This series is okay. I am finding it to be a bit boring.
I do like how well the toxic relationship was handled in this volume, though. Very mature for a shojo manga.
