I didn’t like this as much as the first one, sadly. I still blew through it, but it was a little less fun to me. Of course, that’s the point of the book! It’s about love and relationships, instead of crushes.

Past Present Future by Rachel Lynn Solomon is a heartfelt, relatable story perfect for YA readers who love romance, long-distance relationship dramas, and honest takes on mental health. Fans of emotional, authentic contemporary romance will find it especially captivating.

I don’t even have the words to describe how lovely this book was, especially for such a huge Today Tonight Tomorrow fan like myself!
Right off the bat, I was just so overjoyed to be reading this. I had never expected a sequel for Rowan & Neil’s story, but I was so incredibly excited about it! And it ended up being everything and more than what my expectations had been — I can confidently say that it was a story that needed to be told.
This was an absolutely beautiful story between two people who love each other so much but are also dealing with the growing pains of leaving home for the first time and going away to college, maintaining a long-distance relationship, and navigating the changes of figuring out who you are in the world.
Rowan & Neil complemented each other so well, and this story stayed so true to who they are while also exploring more about them, especially Neil who we didn’t get much of in the first book. There’s lots of goodness to be found in their relationship together while also seeing them adjust to their new environments as individuals. Some parts of their story hurt and resonated with me because of my own not-so-great experiences, but this book healed me in a way that I can’t explain, and I’m so grateful for that.
Overall, this book was done so incredibly well — I could go on and on! I’m so impressed by how this story was written in justice and relation with the first well-beloved book. My love for Rowan & Neil grew even more after reading this, and they truly have my heart and soul. I could read a million more pages about them, but this book was perfection, and I couldn’t ask for anything better.
Thank you so much to Simon & Schuster and NetGalley for an ARC of this book!

These two were precious and I loved the dual pov. It was heavier than I was expecting but I did appreciate the way everything was handled

I fell in love with Rowan and Neil in Today, Tonight, Tomorrow and now I get to see how their story plays out.
Its written from the perspective of both characters who are trying to do the long distance relationship while they navigate through college.
They are both learning a lot about themselves and reading about their freshman year of college. There was a lot that I was able to relate to, especially my freshman year.
Thank you so much Rachel for sharing Neil and Rowan with us.
Thank you Netgally for the arc.

I really enjoyed this book! We jump right back in with the characters from the first book, but I didn’t feel like I needed to have the original fresh in my mind—it reads like a completely separate story. I loved the nostalgia it brought up about freshman year of college, and figuring out who you are in this new chapter of life. It all felt so realistic and sweet!

ALL THE STARS.
I was so incredibly excited when I heard we were getting a second Rowan and Neil book. This book is set during their first year of college and the two are in a long distance relationship—with Rowan in Boston and Neil in NYC. Rowan and Neil are learning how to be adults while also learning how to be in a relationship.
I love that this book wasn’t just a fluff book (don’t get me wrong, I love fluff and would gladly read a Rowan and Neil fluff book!). Past Present Future focuses on love while growing into your own person, as well as the struggles of becoming an adult. Further, it dives into the topic of mental health and depression.

The post-HEA I’ve been waiting for! Rowan and Neil have taken up permanent residence in my heart and mind. Today Tonight and Tomorrow is one of my favorite YA romances, and I was initially afraid that this sequel might not live up to the first book (an all too common concern with follow-ups). Thankfully, my fears were unfounded and were deftly allayed by the author’s storytelling.
Having moved past their high school rivalry and now attending different universities in different states, Rowan and Neil navigate their respective college lives while trying to juggle their relationship and at the same time not succumb to the pressures that come with the experience.
Firstly, I think this book perfectly captures the universal college experience and I say this as one who studied in another country - the challenges that come with fitting in, balancing academics and a budding long-distance relationship, while grappling with constant self-doubt felt incredibly authentic.
Nextly and my favorite aspect of this book is the mental health representation. Trust Rachel Lynn Solomon to hand us a most relatably nuanced, honest and raw portrayal. I even had to take breaks from reading since reading Neil’s internal struggles can be overwhelming and hard to continue.
Lastly, this book delivers another hard-earned and satisfying ending! Though I’d be more than happy to follow Rowan and Neil through any stage of their lives—even when they’re eighty!
A huge thank you to Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers, NetGalley and the author for my copy. All opinions are honest and my own.

I love love loveeee rowan and neil. they mean so much to me. i will recommend today, tonight, tomorrow until the day i die. this book was so needed, i craved more of these two, and this book definitely delivered. LOVE!!

If you loved Today Tonight Tomorrow you must read the sequel!!
I was so excited to get more Rowan and Neil and this did not disappoint!! Getting to see how their relationship evolved as they go to college in different states (but luckily not too far from each other!!!)
This book did a great job of being a cute romance book while also dealing with some heavier topics (difficult relationships with family members, depression, the hard part of change). As someone who also had a difficult time adjusting my first year of college, I deeply felt what these two were going through!!
read if you love
✨ dual POV
✨ relationships being challenged
✨college / long distance romance
✨lovers who were once rivals (i know this is more book one but i still love this aspect about these two!!!)
thank you to NetGalley and Simon and Schuster for for the arc!!

"Past Present Future" is the sequel to a book that I *thought* I had read, but hadn't. And I didn't realize that until I started reading it. The good thing is, the story is complete enough that I felt it worked fine as a standalone. When there are references to things that happened in the first book, there's sufficient detail to understand things, which I appreciated.
The story follows Rowan and Neil, who started seeing one another the last day of their senior year, after having been rivals for all four years of high school. But instead of ending things at the end of a magical summer, they decide to do what they can to maintain a long-distance relationship when he goes to New York City for college, and she goes to Boston.
There's a lot of maturity in the approach they take to maintaining their relationship, which I appreciated seeing. And there was some very realistic adjusting that they each needed to figure out as they went from being at the top of their class in high school to being small fish in a big pond at their respective colleges.
What I hadn't anticipated was the fairly deep dive the story took into Neil's depression, something that was new to him, but not to his family.
Everything was handled with sensitivity and compassion, and both Rowan and Neil were surrounded by a solid support network, both at home and at school. It had me really rooting for them both, individually and as a couple.
Thank you to Rachel Lynn Solomon, Simon and Schuster, and NetGalley for an advance review copy.

im not going to lie. the cover of this one got me lol.i really enjoyed it but idk if its my favorite by her. I liked the plot but it just fell a little flat for me.

*I received an e-arc via Netgalley from the publisher for review. Thank you for the opportunity. All thoughts are my own*
I was so excited when this book was announced as I loved Today Tonight Tomorrow so much! This sequel did not disappoint, and it was just as good as the first. This story follows Rowan and Neil as they navigate the first year of their relationship, at the same time that they’re both attending their first year of college while in different cities. They’re both going through some major life changes while figuring out exactly what they mean to each other.
I really loved seeing things from both Rowan and Neil’s viewpoints and the growth in their characters throughout the story. It brought me back to my college days. I love Rowan and Neil so much and I’m so happy that I got to spend more time with them.
I highly recommend to those that enjoyed the first book and for fans of Rachel Lynn Solomon.

I loved reuniting with Neil and Rowan, but something fell flat. I became frustrated with the many conflicts that they were trying to overcome.

Where do I begin with this one? Rachel Lynn Solomon continues to be one of my favorite authors ever. Rowan and Neil are sooooo back! I absolutely loved “Today Tonight Tomorrow” and was thrilled to get more of this story!! With that, thank you so much to Simon Teen for the ARC!
This book follows their college adventures, one in Boston, one in New York and navigating a long distance relationship. As usual, the banter was fantastic and it was such a wonderful experience to revisit these characters as they transition from Seattle, such a key part of Today Tonight Tomorrow, to their college experiences and the complexities that come with becoming adjusted to a new environment while also trying to stay connected with each other. Rowan and Neil felt so real to me. Their experiences in college felt so much like my own, especially with those all too familiar awkward feelings of being out of place in their new college world.
This book wrapped their story in a neat bow. To avoid spoilers, I will leave it at that. I just adored it!

love this book! perfect continuation for Today Tonight Tomorrow! Highly recommend! The characters portray the perfect emotions when the change of college is coming into affect.

Wow. I had high hopes of this being a great continuation of Rowan and Neil’s story and I am so happy it was perfectly delivered. The journeys Rowan and Neil go through as individuals was executed in a timely manner. I understand the qualms of their romantic journey, especially being so young, but I thought it could have transitioned more smoothly. Other than that, I thought the ending was perfect! Great for fans of the Dash & Lily trilogy and or To All The Boys trilogy.

I say this with love because I am a huge RLS fan:
Stop. Writing. Unnecessary. Sequels.
I loved Tx3- it is one of my favorite romances ever. Px3 didn’t have the same magic, and I just didn’t enjoy it, mostly because it felt unnecessary to their story. I wished we had seen more of Rowan and Neil together.
I am not going to let this tarnish my love for Tx3, even though I didn’t enjoy it.
Thank you for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

I really loved this. but it was a book that took me for a emotional read and boy was it was it ride. I loved seeing these characters tackling their freshman of college and it def handeld with harder topic and was one i enjoyed reading. I also loved seeing the game elements form book one!! This was such a prefect college based read!!

I'm so mad at myself for putting this one off at all, because I should've known RLS was going to deliver, as she always does.
Being back with Rowan and Neil was so delightful. The emotions that Rachel invoked brought me back to that transitory period when you're just starting college, trying to figure out how to blend your old self with this new one that's being created, and also trying to maintain those connections to the ones you love.
I absolutely loved the story that was woven as Rowan and Neil try to navigate long distance, while also trying to figure out who they are as young adults.
Thank you to Simon and Schuster and NetGalley for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.
