a gripping, emotional journey about healing, trust, and uncovering buried secrets. The protagonist is left with gaps in her memory after a life-altering accident, and she's determined to uncover the truth of what happened—before the people who know the answers come after her. Enter Krew Beckett, a former physical therapist who becomes unexpectedly entangled in her life once she returns to campus. Their connection deepens, but so does the suspicion that Krew might be hiding something.

The tension between them is palpable, and the mystery surrounding her accident keeps the pages turning. While the romance builds slowly, it’s the protagonist’s journey of self-discovery and the unraveling of the truth that drives the story. The mix of suspense and emotional depth keeps things engaging, though at times, the pacing feels a bit slow as the characters work through their trust issues.

Overall, an intense read for anyone who enjoys a slow-burn romance with a dark mystery at its core. It’s perfect for those who love stories where healing, secrets, and second chances collide.

ADULT CONTENT!

You have been warned! That said, I found it to be a great storyline! A lot of times, Adult books with sex, tend to leave out a good plot. Not this one. I enjoyed the Who done it, very much.
This is my first book by Andrea Smith!
I enjoyed it enough to want to read some of her other books, especially in this series. I feel invested in Carson's family now. I enjoy books that make you feel something for the family.

Thank you so much, Andrea Smith, Your Publisher, and NetGalley for giving me the chance to read
and Review this Great book!

A Must Read especially if you have followed The G-Man Series but even if you haven't you can read this as a stand alone. For all of you who have followed the series I'm sure you will agree it was great to see this stellar cast of characters and now witness the story of their families. Andrea Smith kept me up all night! I couldn't put this book down until I finished. Although this is a romance I would also say there were plenty of twist and turns that kept me guessing all the way until the end! I love reading the POV from both Carson and Krew and how each person enhances the story. Both leads are very strong as well as supportive of each other. Nice to see a strong woman even when she is facing the unknowns in her life. You're going to love this book!
