This book was fantastic. I absolutely laughed out loud so often my husband stopped asking me what was so funny. I loved Anna and "West" who were first brought together with they married to get housing in school. Authors Christina Lauren employed marriage of convenience, forced proximity, and "oops there's only one bed" in delightful and hilarious ways.

One of the things I most appreciated is that no matter which fish-out-of-water situation Anna was involved in, she always retained a piece of her delightful self. I want to be Anna when I grow up.

Seriously, I cannot stress enough how funny this book is, yet the authors still tackled some deep issues. There was also a decent amount of spice in this open door romance.

I whole heartedly give The Paradise Problem five stars and can't wait to buy my own copy!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I have been in a reading slump lately, and this book definitely helped kickstart my love of reading again.

Anna and Liam were both very likable characters, and while others have said that the story was hard to connect to because of the entitlement of Liam’s family, I think the family dysfunction is super relatable as is Liam’s compassion and how down-to-earth Anna is. The book kept me engaged the whole time, and the ending was wonderful.

I took off half a star simply because I was not a fan of the term the authors used for Liam’s asset.

Thank you, NetGalley, for the eARC.

The Paradise Problem by Christina Lauren offers readers a delectable romance filled with humor, heart, and unexpected twists. The story revolves around Anna Green and Liam "West" Weston, who, despite a divorce and diverging paths, find themselves in a fake relationship to secure a massive inheritance. The plot's clever premise sets the stage for a delightful exploration of love and the clash between social classes. Christina Lauren excels in creating well rounded characters, infusing them with humor and authenticity. The dialogue is sharp, and the pacing keeps the reader engaged throughout.

I LOVED this book….definitely my favorite by Christina Lauren thus far. This story took me a chapter or two to get into while trying to settle into Anna and who she started out as in life. But as the story grew and we encountered her together with West, I fell for both of them. Wes and Anna married in the most convenient way during college. Neither of them knew at the time that their marriage in order to get a deal on housing would lead to an almost 5 year marriage without a relationship at all. When he needs her to get through the last few months of a family stipulation, she agrees to attend his sister's wedding on a private island.
All of the proximity, hijinks and family drama that we crave ensue here. It's fun and easy to read. It's light but also heartwarming and steamy. I loved it.

I found this book to be really enjoyable. I tend to read romance as more light hearted books between heavier fiction and fantasy, but I was pleasantly surprised with the plot. I liked both main characters and I liked the family dynamic that was portrayed as a heavy plot point. Overall, the writing was great and the book held my interest.

Christina & Lauren are back! Though I will instantly buy ANY book these ladies write, I have to say honestly that The Paradise Problem is right up there with The Unhoneymooners and Josh & Hazel, two of my absolute favorites. We all have our favorite CLO books, and Paradise Problem is now right up there for me. I feel so honored to have gotten a chance to read it early - thank you Netgalley! I can now do what I do best: CLO readers' advisory. Our library already has holds for this book and I'm sure there will be many more to come.

I have never pressed the request button so fast! Christina Lauren are one of my favorite authors. I will read anything by them. I devoured most of this book in one sitting. CLo blessed us with all of the best romance tropes: marriage of convenience, sharing a hotel room, ONE BED, and all the forced proximity that comes with a fake relationship. The banter between Anna and Liam was so enjoyable to read. Plus, a beautiful, tropical island was the perfect romantic setting for this book.

I deducted a star because the last 20% of the book almost exclusively focused on the family drama. It felt like an entirely different book, and I wanted to read more about Anna and Liam finally being together.

I can't wait to buy a physical copy of The Paradise Problem when it comes out in May! Thank you to Christina Lauren, and Gallery Books for the advanced copy.

The Paradise Problem was delightful. It was exactly what I was hoping it to be- sweet and fun, not to say there wasn't some drama in the story. It had a mix of Crazy Rich Asians, The Unhoneymooners and Pretty Woman...since I liked all of those, this one is a no brainer for me. This is going to be a popular beach read for the right reasons. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher to the ARC.

I love these authors so much. I’ve read almost all of their books. This book was good but not great. The characters were fun and the second chance trope was well done. The banter was great. However I felt myself thinking the book just dragged a little.

Thank you to the publisher for a gifted copy of this book.

As soon as I heard CLo have a new book coming out I ran here to snag a copy! CLo never lets me down! This one featuring a marriage of convenience trope had me flipping the pages til late at night. I loved Anna's personality and she was definitely the sunshine to West/Liam's grumpiness. Some of her comments had me laughing out loud. I was hoping to see more of the Weston sibling dynamics but that didn't take away the enjoyment I had for this book. If you are craving a vacation this one will take you to a tropical paradise!

cross posted on @booksabbiereads:

Oh my goodness, I devoured this one! I've recently found Christina Lauren and this book left me eager to read all of hers (theirs) I got attached to Anna, her father, Vivi, and the entire dysfunctional Weston family. I felt like I was on the island with them and found myself sneaking in pages in any free moment. A must read!

I devoured this book in less than a day!! One of my new favorite Christina Lauren books for sure. Anna and West/Liam are fresh and interesting characters whose evolution feels real. I usually don’t like the “millionaire” romances, but this was so good that it didn’t bother me. West was definitely NOT the typical millionaire hero. I cannot recommend this book enough.

I always love a good one by Christina Lauren, and this was a fun quick read. At first I had to get passed the believability of the story line (aka not ever going to happen) but from there I enjoyed it. I loved the more realistic character flaws of the family involved. I always love the witty banter between characters in their books, but I did think the male lead could have had a bit more personality, the female lead really carried the book for me.

I really enjoyed this novel. The characters were well developed and the plot flowed in a way that made sense. I would recommend this book to others and look forward to reading others by this author.

Anna and Alia have a marriage of convenience, she because of housing, he because of his trust fund. This book was not for me. I never felt invested or cared about Anna and Liam. I found the dialog of Anna to be ridiculous at times

The Problem in Paradise was a great romance! I love the premise of two strangers marrying for affordable living while in college but then finding out they are still married. The connection between West and Anna is palpable. I was rooting for them from Page 1! Nice quick beach read set in paradise.

I loved every minute of this story! It's an unconventional relationship, family drama, love, partnership, all wrapped up on a beautiful island. I was so invested in Anna and Liam and cheering them on through the entire story.
Read this--you won't be disappointed!

When she couldn’t zip her pants because her nails were too long. So funny
I loved the Cheese story, was funny
I loved when Anna finally stood up to Liam’s dad and put him in his place. It was a slow burn but a great romance. Loved it!

Incredible! An amazing premise with wonderful well thought out characters. This is definitely my new favorite Christina Lauren booK! Once I started, it was hard to put down. Anna was such a lovable character and Liam was the glue that held it all together. Definitely a must read!
