This book showcases a diverse cast of girls playing a variety of sports and outdoor activities. It is a nice and positive book that encourages young readers that they can do anything they put their minds to.

Go, Girls, Go! is a rallying cry for girls to be in motion and be active. It's not a linear story, but each page is an introduction to a regular girl doing an activity with a bright illustration. It's a lot like a much shorter version of Rebel Girls biographies, but more grounded in everyday girls. For example; Emma loves hockey and she practices on weekends and feels good when her brothers cheer her on. It seems inclusive with ethnicities not being clear. Are they tanned, or is it the lighting of the setting? All the girls sort of look the same with big Disney eyes. I would recommend this book for a girl who is active and doesn't feel seen or see herself represented around her. It's simple and would be good for a reluctant reader.

Thank you to the independent publisher for providing me with this ARC.

Go, Girls, Go is a beautifully illustrated book that would be fantastic to inspire young girls to take on new passions. It depicts many girls participating in various sports and activities. Some activities you probably wouldn't think of otherwise like boxing and Kayaking. Very sweet book.
