I always love reading these buzz books - I like to see what Publishers Lunch thinks will be hits, and I always love the samples, that way I can get a taste of some of the books as well.

I love getting a taste of what is upcoming in book publishing. I am very excited for many of these books. I loved the excerpt of Docile and have pre-ordered the book. Thank you!

BuzzBooks is a annual edition that features excerpts from 6o different novels, sorted into four sections: Fiction, Debut, Nonfiction, and YA. All of the books are going to be released in the spring and summer of 2024. I was so surprised by how interesting all the books were! I was planning to just read the YA section, but I ended up reading every single one- including nonfiction. Wow.

I highly recommend checking it out. I loved how even the most obscure books got a chance to shine. There's a separate book for romance, but even the version I read contained a few love stories. That being said, by TBR doubled after reading this book!

I've always enjoyed reading the Buzz Book releases. I always manage to find my next favourite read within its pages. I sent in a few ( a lot) of requests in from the recommendations.

Love reading these books.
Thanks to author, publisher and Netgalley for the chance to read this book. While I got the book for free it had no bearing on the rating I gave it.

Thank you to Net Galley for providing a copy of Buzz Books 2024 Spring/Summer

The Buzz Books 2024 Spring/Summer catalog is a well, organized and detailed resource for those involved in the book/publishing industry. In my case, it offers me a "heads up" on what to expect on the shelves of the bookshop for customers to peruse. In many cases, this catalog allows me to notify customers of when to expect something new from a favorite author or the incentive for them to try something new.

I have already requested several early copies based on the excerpts in the catalog---specifically Swift River, Long After We Are Gone and The God of the Woods along with well-known author Greg Iles. I also tuned in to the Zoom presentation last week featuring new authors.

This was a really cool way to see what’s upcoming for spring/summer 2024. I liked that they showed the cover, summary, and an excerpt from each title. I will definitely be going through this again!

Love to receive this every season! The book covers along are worth it and it's a great peak into next season's buzzy books.

Great way to learn about some upcoming releases! Thanks for putting this together NetGalley! I didn’t read all of it but was able to choose what excerpts to read by category.

Thank you for the ARC of this! It's great to see what's coming so I can add to my TBR list and know what to look forward to as spring and summer approach. I really appreciate that there are links included so that I can easily find many of the books on NetGalley!

I always enjoy getting these new samplers of the new fiction and nonfiction that are coming out in the near future. However this wasn't my favorite of the selection that they could have given us. I felt like a lot of the books that I was looking forward to reading a sample of were not included in this preview. This sampler seem to be focused on the obscure books. I love reading a new author just like everybody else but I also wanna see some of the most popular fiction samples so I can see if I like those too. I will still read the samples because they have always been great to me but this one was a little bit of a disappointment.

This volume of Buzz Books was filled with excerpts of interesting and highly-anticipated upcoming books. A great blend of genres with many focusing on historical, social, and racial issues. I've definitely requested some on NetGalley, and look forward to reading them soon.

As usual, so many great titles here. I stuck mostly to the fiction section and just about every excerpt was interesting enough that I would have kept going, even the ones that aren’t in my normal reading comfort zone. It really goes to show how much we judge a book by its cover + blurb and how valuable these buzz book guides are for expanding our reading horizons!

My favorites were The Wedding People, The Last Murder at the End of the World, and The God of the Woods. Oh and The Return of Ellie Black. Ah also Sandwich 😂. CANT WAIT to read the full books!!

This was an amazingly fun sampler to dip into. The mystery novels that stood out to me, based on excerpts, were The God the Woods by Liz Moore, which promises to be an exciting follow-up to her Long Bright River, and Granite Harbor by Peter Nichols, which manages in surprisingly few excerpt pages to be frightening, atmospheric, witty, and humane, featuring realistic teens and their entirely sympathetic parents.

I love this so much! I am new to Netgalley. I really appreciate being able to read excerpts from books to come and be able to get a feel for the author's writing style before I commit! Definitely have some to add to my TBR now!
