AWAKE TO YOUR WHY pushed me to examine where I’ve been and where I want to go. The actionable steps are straightforward, practical and powerful. Bryce Chapman encourages the reader to examine where s/he has been, what his/her goals are, and he provides exercises that lead to mindset shift (for example, if one wants to be a writer—even if s/he has not yet published—once s/he has started walking the baby steps towards that goal, s/he should think of him/herself as a writer). I recommend this solid, motivating instruction manual to achieving your goals.

Every once in a while, you stumble upon a book that doesn't just turn pages but turns your life around. "Awake to Your Why" by Bryce Chapman is one of those rare catalysts for personal transformation that comes wrapped in the guise of a book. It's not merely a read; it's a wake-up call to the soul.

Bryce Chapman doesn't just talk the talk; he has tread the tumultuous path of self-realization and come through as a beacon of hope. His authenticity shines through every chapter, as he shares his own journey from the brink of personal and professional collapse to a life brimming with purpose and success.

The book's premise is as compelling as it is simple: awaken to your why. Chapman masterfully intertwines the science of neuroplasticity with heartening personal anecdotes, making the case that our brains are wired for change, and it's never too late to redirect the course of our lives. His message is clear—your dreams are not just possible; they are essential, and the time to act on them is now.

Chapman's writing style is both engaging and practical. He eschews fluff for substance, presenting a step-by-step guide that is meticulously designed to help readers unlock their full potential. The 5 am wake-up call is not a gimmick; it's a disciplined approach to carving out the time needed to focus on what truly matters.

What sets "Awake to Your Why" apart from other self-help books is its holistic approach to life transformation. Chapman doesn't limit his advice to one aspect of life; he provides a blueprint for overhauling your health, wealth, business, and personal aspirations. It's a comprehensive toolkit for anyone looking to not just chase their dreams but to live them. The book bristles with energy and inspiration, yet it's grounded in actionable steps that demystify the process of change.

In awarding "Awake to Your Why" a well-deserved five stars, I am not just recommending a book; I am endorsing a journey. Bryce Chapman has not only provided the map to a life of purpose but has also lit the way with his own life as the guiding example. This book is a treasure trove for the weary dreamer looking to breathe life into their aspirations and step confidently into a future of their own making.

To anyone feeling stuck in the accidental life, "Awake to Your Why" is your compass to a deliberate and fulfilling existence. Bryce Chapman has not just written a book; he has crafted a lifeline that will tug you from the depths of routine to the heights of your potential. Embark on this journey—you owe it to your dreams.

It is a good self-help book to read. Author write his story of how he overcame all the difficulties in his daily life, there will be a lesson to be used as a guide for the reader and even for himself too. Not only that, this book also gives some tips to readers in building good habits to achieve goals.

Every morning we will wake up to complete all the tasks in life in order to achieve our goals. We seem to be busy in the busyness that we created without knowing where or what we should do first. In the end, we lost control because we didn’t plan more carefully all the daily schedules and goals to be achieved. Therefore, the writer also helps the reader in dealing with these issues.

Its a must read self-help and motivation read in 2024!

This book presents a compelling call to action, urging readers to seize control of their lives and pursue their aspirations. Combining personal stories with scientific principles and practical tools, the author argues that waking up early and prioritizing goal setting can unlock personal transformation. While the specific emphasis on 5 am may not resonate with all readers, the book's core message of self-awareness and intentional living holds value for anyone seeking to bridge the gap between what they want and where the actually are.

This was a typical self help style read. The book follows similar formulas of other self help books. The author tells writes about his personal story as well as background information on the 5 am method and it’s usage. The author identifies several actions called goal activators and lists universal rules for implementation. The information featured in this was vaguely general with nothing new or unique to offer readers familiar with self help style books. Overall, this was an easy read and is a good starter book for those new to self help.

Waking up at 5AM is something that Bryce Chapman swears by. He's been doing it every day for the past two decades. If you're looking to make a change in your life and chase that dream deferred, this book will set you up with those guides you need to start living a more authentic life. However, a word of caution, Chapman doesn't provide anything new to the self-help space. If you are picking up this book anticipating something new from what's already in the market, it's not going to happen. That's the case with most self-help books, usually.

Thank you NetGalley for providing this eARC.

Awake to Your Why : Achieve Your Goals and Change Your Life with the 5 AM Advantage. This is a self help book that is based on the popular 5am method that is promoted by quite a few other authors. The biographical side didn't really appeal to me. I prefer the HOW rather than so much of the WHY the author developed his system. There are some good snippets in there, and I know many other people will really like this type of self help book.

I'll have to really think through the 5am mindset, as a lifelong night owl. Might actually try it, though. I appreciated that the author started with a life-changing accident. It definitely made me think about living in accordance with my highest values, with what I most wanna do in this short (or long?) life I have left. Thank you for the ARC!

Thank you, netgalley for the opportunity to read this book. I really wanted to like this one but, I didn't. I enjoyed the first half of this book but, towards the last half I felt like it was very repetitive and often times slow. I felt like the author repeated the same farm story multiple times and it was a bit much. I also felt like this was more a book about the author's life vs being a personal development book.

A good reminder to be more intentional in planning a day around success and goals. I'm still a night owl, but I appreciate the concepts within this.

Awake to Your Why by Bryce Chapman is the perfect read as we finish out this year, and our minds turn to resolutions for the next.

A strong proponent of the idea that waking each day at 5am is a catalyst for positive change, the author suggests that this single daily tweak will improve productivity and focus, and is a giant leap toward living a life of purpose. Backed by scientific evidence and truly inspirational stories, this book will certainly leave you hyped on the fact that the power of change lies within and is always there, ready to be taken. Recommended. 4.5 stars

One thing I do admit is that waking up at 5am is not easy, and even then doing so consistently. The first time I heard of this was by reading Robin Sharma's book and for a while, I was part of the 5am club and now reading this book was the reminder of some of the great things I got done during that time.
I absolutely loved the author's decision to explore five goal activators; and these five activators help reinforce and sustain the habit of waking up at 5am.
Thanks Netgalley for the eARC.
