This is a thrilling conclusion to the Vampire Motorcycle Club series!
We get this story from the perspectives of Meara and Edge. Meara is a 300-year-old vampire, and Edge is the newer addition to their family turned by her brother Bane. He's a scientist who spent time captured and experimented on by the chamber. Though it takes place before this book, it greatly affects him as a person, and has more consequences than anyone else was aware of. While Meara has spent her time mostly alone besides her brother, she has her own secret she's been keeping.
I completely enjoyed this! Meara and Edge are both closed off for different reasons, so not as much of their emotions are spoken, but their chemistry is off the charts. They're incredibly alike in their need to protect others and sacrifice themselves first for others. The action building their relationship and their search and fight with The Chamber built beautifully throughout the book. All of the characters were relatable and wonderful. I hope someday we get more of their stories.
This book can be read as a standalone, but you definitely miss out on a lot of the background with the Chamber, the other couples, and even the beginning to the romance between Meara and Edge, so I would read the others first.
I was lucky to receive an arc of this book from NetGalley and the publisher before release!
I could not finish this one. To be fair, it was book #3 and I had not read the previous books. It has all of the things I love, fae, magic, dark romance, frenemies etc. but it really just didn’t cut it. I couldn’t get into the whole motorcycle club aspect and the main issue of the forbidden love between the main characters just seemed trivial. The romance was red hot, but the rest of the plot let me down a bit and played out more like a romance novel than a sci-fi /fantasy.
Thanks to NetGalley UK and the publisher for the opportunity of reading this ecopy against a review.

So let's be clear, I was enticed to read this book as soon as I read the resume. But I hadn't read the first books, I had to read them fast.
The story about Edge and Meara was, for me, more interesting than the two first book. The impossible relationship, the personality of the two of them, their powers and this attraction. Thanks to the bad guys because they end together.
Their past was interesting, especially about Meara but I expected more dramas.
So my reading was fast but not that exciting. To be honest, I was quite disappointed with the reasons of the impossible relationship between them. One day, they were alright to give in, and the next day, they distanced themselves. So much back and forth, and it was annoying ; it didn't feel thrilling (there was not this depth that I enjoy).
Though, I was happy for them to be free and be together.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this book.
Totally loved this series and dad.to have it end. So wishing there were more books in the series.
I just loves these bad ass herouc vampires!
These books would make a great television series!
Hoping for more!
Highly recommend!
Meara and Edge are both vampires living in Savannah. They are both extremely attracted to each other and both vehemently deny it.
This is a story about soul mates who fight their attraction every day, because due to their history, they know that doing anything about that attraction could prove fatal to themselves and others.
This book is so well written, it is the perfect love story, and one of the best I have ever read!
Go get it as soon as you can. You won't regret it!
Meara and Edge’s are the ultimate in opposites attract. She is the centuries old, Vampire warrior and former French aristocrat. Edge is the ultimate science geek. He was experimented on until he managed to free himself and his brother. Every time these two are around each other there are literal sparks between them but they both have a very real reason to not give in to the attraction.
They both know that the other is there all but Mears has a real problem with harnessing hew extra talents and Edge has had all his feelings trained out of him - or so he thinks. The banter and insults are witty and inventive. Once the floodgates open between them though, the chemistry ramps to 1000.
This found family just keeps getting bigger. The VMC is now mixing with werewolves, humans and magic users. The volleyball games are between them are very EXTRA! The secondary characters such as Mr & Mrs C really round out the family feel. They may be Vampires but they still love, empathise and want to take care of those they love.
There is a fitting end to Lord Neville and there are more than a few surprises along the way. I know that this may be the end for VMC as a series but I really hope that it won't be the last we see of this motley crew!
Okay — vampires and other paranormal a meets motorcycle club? Instantly intrigued.
The two main characters, Edge and Meara, have this passionate, red hot romance going on. The problem? The consequences if they did end up together, fighting that inevitable pull that is entirely fruitless but creates a wonderful explosive narrative down the line. Between the experimentation on Edge, and Meara’s dark secret there is plenty of room for suspense and drama.
Between the Vampire MC and the Council’s beef and desire to decimate each other, it only adds an extra layer of tension and danger to the plot line.
The found/made family trope shines here, offering a whole lot to the reader leading to such a rich, delectable novel that is not only a joy to read but addictive as well. I may have jumped into the deep end here with the last novel but I will be going back and reading this series from the very beginning.
Thank you to Alyssa Day and Entangled Publishing for the eARC!
Redemption’s Edge by Alyssa Day is book 3 in the Vampire Motorcycle Club and tells the story of Meara and Edge. Thiers is a complicated yet passionate relationship, especially since both characters try and stay apart from each other, mainly due to consequences if they ever got together. Edge has reasons due to the experimentation done to him and Meara has a secret that she hopes that Edge doesn’t find out….see how complicated their relationship is!
As with the previous books, this one also has a lot of action, suspense and passion with the element of family being at its core, whether it is made or found. The Vampire MC are still trying to get rid of the Council and the Council are set on annihilating them add into this the intense pressure Edge feels for falling for Meara (its literally a killer!) but with lots of complications comes a great story and end to a series.
If you like vampires, werewolves and everything in between, then you’re going to not only enjoy this book, but also this whole series!
ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review. All opinions are my own. 😊
More of my reviews can be found on my blog: http://thehotmesslibrary.blogspot.com
This is book 3 and the final in the series. Which I was super sad to learn. Meara and Edge was the characters of this story. I was excited to hear the story ofthe hard edge, but also soft hearted woman of Meara. They both had so much chemistry they could not keep themselves from each other. Even with all of the personal issues they each had to over come. I enjoyed the ride to watch them both find themselves and get their happy ever after. Lots of twists and turns that I also did not see. I also enjoyed all the paranormal species coming together as one. Now can I join into a volleyball game!?
I was really expecting to absolutely LOVE this book and I didn't. It seemed to drag in some places and other places where the action and spice was hot and I would get engrossed, it would end and go back to dragging. I loved the science of the story and the non-traditional vampire abiliites. You don't really need to read books 1 and 2 because the author fully updates you (part of the dragging for me). I would prefer hints & bits that would make me want to go back and read the other 2 books.
I absolutely loved this book! Meara is a butt kicking female vampire who has lived for hundreds of years and is afraid to get too emotionally attached to anyone because she could lose control and her powers could destroy the earth. Edge was turned by Meara’s brother Bane, who almost died when turning him and his brother into vampires. Edge is a scientific genius but has something in his brain that will explode if he falls in love so has become more detached from people. Their attraction to each other could be deadly. While trying to fight their attraction, they are trying to find and destroy a man and the group of evil warlocks that he leads called the Chamber, unless the Chamber gets to them first.
Although you could read this as a standalone without a problem, you would be missing out on other amazing stories that only add to this epic finale. I am sad there won’t be any more to this series because it is truly a wonderful, well built world with fantastic characters. Their friendships, struggles, humor, passion and love are all so realistic and have all the feels that make you not want it to end. I seriously can not recommend this book enough. I highly recommend the whole series. Alyssa Day is an amazing author and all of her books fantastic so check them out!
Thank you entangled for an early copy of this book to read and review. All thoughts are my own.
I haven’t read many werewolf/vampire romances but this was a fun time. Although I thought the plot could’ve used some work, this book held my attention and I read it in one sitting.
This book is super fast pace and has some fun book categories/tropes that include:
-werewolves
-vampires
-magic
-ghost
-funny banter
-forbidden love
-strong female lead
-spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️
-found family
I think if you’re looking for a quick and fun read, you should try this book. This is also book 3. I’ll have to check out book 1 and 2!
3.5 stars!
It’s been so long since the last book in this series came out I had to try to remember what happened. This story was filled with lots of action. The bad guys are super villains. The love story intense.
No matter what this author writes she grabs you and like a dog with a bone won’t let go.
It looks beautiful but I couldn't figure how to add the stickers or even write in it electronically. I'm assuming I'm missing some instruction but I couldn't figure it out.
He can never fall in love. Falling in love means death, the scientist's saw to that. Can Edge ever be with Meara and express his true feelings, feelings he's supposed to not be able to have! She wants him but knows her powers can destroy them. Fighting for the city they love and for their chance at love, they take on the evil Chamber warlocks. Leaves the reader rooting for them both and wanting more. The surprise at the end will stun you.
This exciting, fast paced story has action, love, family, evil and a whole lot of other things going for it. A real page turner.
It’s a Paranormal modern-day Fantasy Romance entwining a fierce female warrior and intellectual alpha. Each with their own traumatized past that barricades their hearts from touching anything close to normal relationships. Will the master vampire overcome her past fears? Will the detached Scientist conclude his indigestion is not something he ate?
Is it a stand-alone? Technically, there’s enough explanation and catch-up introduction to make it comprehensive. There was a moment, though, that I wished the author had flashed back to recount their first kiss and not only the mixed, complicated effects. Alas, no. There are other fantastic push-and-pull scenes between them to enjoy. It is steamy with intimate bedroom scenes, so be aware.
**This has one of my favorite ideas: the anxiety of losing control of your power and hurting those you hold dear.
This was a sponsored ARC through NetGalley for an honest review.
This is an action-packed and romantic conclusion to the Vampire Motorcycle Club trilogy. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Meara and Edge’s story. They have such amazing chemistry, and their fighting is always filled with an incredible amount of sexual tension. I couldn’t wait to learn more about their history and their love story.
Meara and Edge have some serious reasons for staying apart, and it’s heartbreaking to learn of the dangerous consequences if they acted on their feelings. They genuinely care for each other, but with the experimentation done on Edge in the past and Meara’s secret that could prove deadly, their union seems impossible. Ooof, there’s so much angst between these two, and the chemistry is absolutely sizzling!
One of my favorite parts of this trilogy is the strong found family element. Meara, Edge, Bane, and all of the others form this wonderfully supportive (and badass) family, and there’s a lot of love and support among them. There are so many fantastic and unique personalities, and I enjoyed seeing what the protagonists from the other books in the series are up to. There are a couple of secondary characters who work for the motorcycle club that I adored, and it was great to see them have a slightly bigger role in this book.
The story also has a ton of action, danger, and intrigue, as the overarching plot comes to its epic conclusion. It’s intense and suspenseful but interspersed are some wonderfully tender moments and some really funny scenes, too. Add in the spicy romance and amazing friendships, and you have yourself a winner!
Special thanks to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for providing me with a copy of the book. All thoughts are my own.
Non-stop adventure, intrigue, and yes, volleyball! Vampires, werewolves, nephilim, and witches battle the evil sorcerers and demons - and a baby dragon, well why not? Addictive from the first page to the last with touches of humor and a strong slow burn that just keeps simmering through the storyline. A winner!
Redemption's Edge by Alyssa Day is an addicting book.
This book is perfect for a vampire fan book reader
✅ Paranormal romance (vampire, wolf, witch)
✅ High sexual tension
✅ Plenty of spicy scenes
✅ Action packed
✅ Enemy to lover
✅ Angst
✅ Suspense
✅ Heart breaking scenes
✅ Tear jerker
✅ Spiciness : Intense and explicit
The storyline are addicting and the characters are amazing. I really loved it when Meara lost control of her power and Edge lost control of his feelings. As a science nerd, feelings make him experienced indigestion. Even though, they can't reach understanding at first but slowly they can't resist the attraction between them.
I'll definitely be looking forward to Alyssa Day and waiting for the next book.
