Just the right amount of creepy, and I love when horror packs a punch. It's a good addition to my list for readers advisory.

Loved this creepy little thing! Made me feel unsettled and full of dread. I couldn't put it down and yet dreaded picking it up because of the visceral physical reaction to following the main character.

A chilling yet fun take on current times of instant deliveries and how little we know of our couriers and how much they can know about us… thanks for the arc

One of the most unnerving tales of stalking and obsession I've ever read. Bob is the kind of character that just begs to be felt sorry for but then loathed. A quickly absorbing storyline that you can't put down. You have to find out what happens next. This is the kind of horror that has such a real world feel, you stay creeped out after reading it. I can't wait to see more from Rosi! Creepy as hell, made me want to triple check that my doors were locked and my curtains were drawn.

Although this was a short read I couldn’t get into this one,I DNF this one at about 15%.

I appreciate NetGalley and the publishers for giving me this arc in exchange for my honest review.

This was a short little book, it was very good and entertaining. It had me hooked and at the edge of my seat. The mailman was crazy and the obsession he had was top tier. I was shook by the end of the book. I gave this 5 stars and I highly recommend it.

I definitely judged Courier by its cover and it didn't disappoint. A short and sweet novella with a top tier creep for a narrator. Giving “You” vibes but make it British. I'm thinking twice about ever ordering something that needs my signature at delivery.

I expected more of a horror story (and obviously if this were real life it'd be terrifying) but enjoyed this psychological thriller. The twist was a bit predictable but satisfying nonetheless. There were bits of humor and lots of talk about grief, which gave the story much more depth. If you want a quick, unsettling read, give Courier a go!

This one started off a little slow, because you’re reading about and getting to know this courier who just seems a little “off.”

As the story progresses you’re like whoa, this reminds me of “YOU” with all of the stalking.

However, there’s a nice ending that was pretty satisfying.

An all around solid novella.

A horror story that jams in an amazing story into a small package. The story and plot is tremendous and it has great characters. Superb writing and I wish it was a longer story. I want dive further into this story and setting of this story. The Author has a bright future in this genre.

This was the perfect twisted novella of my dreams and it could most definitely cause you to never wanna leave your house again! Or not be so chronically online. The twist was fantastic and I hadn’t even predicted it, it came so naturally yet abruptly. You should definitely give this a try!

Totally creepy in the best way. Reminded me of the book You and all that creepy stalkery goodness. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

Courier by Zoe Rosi was unputdownable! Read in one sitting, Courier will introduce you to the unhinged and creepy in surprising ways through great sequencing. Loved the book from start to finish and the cover is soooo good!

Actual Rating: 3.5/5.

What a crazy little novella I have stumbled upon here. Just when you think you're getting into a regular stalker story, it turns on its head and we turn into a "You" like affair. It's baffling what lengths people will go to on their quest to make the people they stalk fall for them, or even just see them. Rosi expertly weaved a crazy love story together with an obsessive stalker to achieve so much in so little pages. Then left us all on an epic plot twist into one heck of a conclusion.

Thank you to NetGalley, Lighthouse Books & Zoe Rosi for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review. Perfect for fans of Caroline Kepnes' "You" series and C.M Guidroz's "It's Me, Charlie", Courier is available now.

Have you ever given your delivery drivers a second thought?

Above lays the question that permeates throughout the new novella by Zoe Rosi, called Courier. An interesting and somewhat shocking tale of lust, desire and more.

Courier is told through a first-person perspective, and that person is Bob. He’s a 50 year-old delivery driver from the UK, who had to take that job after his store closed down. Bob — who says he can pass for 44 — doesn’t like to deliver to 19 Summer Close, because he always hears yelling and screaming. The book picks up as he’s wondering about who lives there.

Unfortunately, that day’s route requires a delivery to that home. Even worse, it’s an age restricted package, meaning it requires a signature. When Bob goes there at the end of his shift, he meets the owner of the home (Nathaniel), and sees his wife and child cowering in the background. His gorgeous wife, Natalie, that is.

Seeing them like that makes Bob feel like they’re being abused, and setting sights on the wife makes him become obsessed with her. What follows is a tale of obsession and lust.

This is a somewhat shocking book, but it’s not gory. It’s unhinged though.

Going in, I was looking forward to a good horror novella. While the end result was more of a thriller, I still enjoyed what I read. This is a good novella, and a thought provoking story. It won’t be easy to forget.

If you’re looking for something different, check out Courier by Zoe Rosi.

3 Stars ~

Thank you NetGalley for the chance to read this ARC in return for an honest review.

This was a fun short little novella about Bob, who is a courier. One day he sees a damsel in distress, and he can’t stop thinking about her and how he feels like he’s the only one to save her from her abusive husband and for his efforts, of course she will fall in love with him.

This was a great little read, some flaws in Bob’s plans but enjoyable for what it was.

Hooked from start to finish. A chunky thriller read with a satisfying ending. You gotta watch out for those "Bob's". Especially the ones that study you when you're not noticing. I'd love to read more from Rosi; an author with definite promise.

Wow, I did not see that coming at all! I devoured this book in one sitting. It definitely gave me 'YOU' vibes in the best way. From start to finish, I was hooked.

Fun little short read. Every wonder how much your delivery drivers know about you? They can see the packages you get delivered, might even be able to see what it is they are bringing. And they creep up outside, they can see in windows and hear your dog bark or your kids scream or your alarms going off from an overcooked dinner.

Sometimes a horror story just hits right. In the time of Amazon, Instacart and DoorDash, I see a lot of the same delivery drivers up and down my block bringing packages and food. I love that this one will make me wonder how much they are observing and obsessing about when they drive down my block again. Such a fun, disturbing read. I was hooked from the first chapter and I loved the twisted ending!

A huge thank you to the author and publisher for providing an e-ARC via Netgalley. This does not affect my opinion regarding the book.
