Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC of The Housemaid is Watching! For me personally, Freida McFadden is the epitome of bingeable book content. I picked up this book and devoured it in one sitting. I could not put it down. It was so good to be back with Millie and Enzo. I enjoyed the time jump and I was sucked into the world immediately. This was a great read! You wouldn't have to read the first two books in the series to enjoy this story, but I would recommend reading them first as they are also really good, and you will feel more connected to the core characters.

Surely one of the most anticipated books of the year…

A few years after the events of The Housemaid’s Secret, Millie has settled down, now happily married with children, and moving into the home they’ve worked and saved for.

Meet the neighbors, on one side a married realtor who won’t stop flirting with Millie’s husband. Across the road there’s a nosey neighbor, watching everything that goes on…

You already know Freida’s style, fast, easy flowing. The Housemaid Is Watching is a next-level silky smooth magic carpet ride.

How much do we love Millie’s character? This book goes deeper into her character than ever before, this is Millie the wife and mom, Millie with a steady job, safe from the scrapes she used to find herself in.

There’s a lot of humor, references to the other books, in jokes, family fun and every day stresses. It’s a very funny book, you’ll be laughing… right up until your jaw drops.

When it switches up, hold on tight! It’s so unexpected. You won’t see it coming, you won’t even know which direction you’re looking in.

It’s incredible! Imagine writing a book to reach the level of The Housemaid and The Housemaid’s Secret…Imagine writing a book that easily equals the quality but also adds layers of detail to the characters’ pasts, fills in any blanks and answers all the questions.

I was hooked from the first page, it grips hard, it’s fast and smooth, tense, thrilling and twisty. It’s full of character, depth and detail. It’s a pure, perfect thrill ride and it completes Millie’s world.

It stands alone as a great thriller, it builds on the previous books to create a very powerful trilogy. This is everything the fans have been crying out for and more.

I’m almost speechless. If you’ve read the first two books read this book now!
If you haven’t (?!) then get all three lined up, call in sick, lock the door and forget about sleeping.

Book of the year? Thrillogy of the decade!

Thanks to Netgalley, Poisoned Pen Press and Freida McFadden
