This had everything that I enjoyed from the first Bonkers book, it had that goofy spooky element that I wanted and enjoyed. I thought this was a great overall concept and fun to read, I enjoyed the way Patrick Carman wrote this and the first book. I’m excited to read more in this series and from Patrick Carman.

A hilarious quirky cast of characters with a great story plot. Barker Muffin is a hoot! Whether old or young this is an enjoyable read. My 9 year grandson and I thoroughly enjoyed this. Thanks#Netgalley and #BlackstonePublishing for the eARC in exchange for a honest review. All opinions are mine.

This is definitely on me, but I requested this review copy thinking that this was a graphic novel - I mean, the cover really makes it seem that way - and when it turned out to be a regular book I was immediately a bit disappointed.
I also found the writing style somewhat cringey, so overall I personally wouldn’t read another book in this series.
