Cluelessly Yours is a bit different from the other contemporary romance books I have read. It was funny, easy to follow, and enjoyable to read. I liked that the main characters were over the age of 35. I enjoy both main characters, I particularly liked Sammy’s interaction with her sister, Brooke, both had me laughing throughout the book. 
Sebastian and Elizabeth were both amazing in narrating the story. I have heard Sebastian narrate before but this is the first narration I listened to by Elizabeth and she was incredible. Both kept me invested in the story and I enjoyed listening to it.

I enjoyed the book and the Narrators did a fantastic job telling the story. I did have a few great laughs and the kids were funny! The biggest drawback for me and the only thing keeping it from five stars it’s the over usage of the full name. There was. Few places I feel it warranted it but not constantly. This wasn’t my first Max Monroe book and it won’t be my last!

Cluelessly Yours was a cute rom com about a single mom of two young boys being convinced into reentering the dating pool despite her chaotic life. She finds herself stuck between two men despite not wanting any men and all the wild circumstances that entails. This was a cute, easy read. The big conflicts felt anti climactic because they wrapped up so quickly and easily, but I still enjoyed this one. Was it earth shatteringly good? No. Was it worth reading? Yes.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Sammy was so relatable and I could empathize with her. I already knew from the beginning which man I was rooting for but there were some very interesting twists and turns for Sammy. Her relationship with her sister was great and her sons cracked me up with things they did or said. I listened to the audiobook and enjoyed the narrators very much. Sebastian York is an automatic yes for me. Elizabeth Louise was new to me and she did a great job with Sammy and the young boys' voices. I highly recommend this book!!

Right from the lead characters to the supporting characters, I loved everything in this book. The main plotline was for a single mother of two notorious kids trying to go back to dating and explore her romantic life again but the subplotlines , the story of the supporting characters was interesting too.
I am simply amazed at the fact that how beautiful the author has knitted in so many things together yet not making it messy but instead the overall experience of reading this was so amazing and wonderful.
I will be definitely looking forward to read more work of this author.

The prologue had me hooked!!! It was such a roller coaster filled with twist, not knowing who to trust.

Sammy is a single mom of two young kids which makes it difficult for her to date, so when two guys are interested in her she follows her instinct & craziness still follows her.

Oh I loved this, admittedly when I requested this I didn’t realise it was a part of a series but I didn’t struggle following the story. Cluelessly yours was such a fun read that had me laughing out loud in parts. I loved that this is a romance story based on characters who are over forty. I loved the way the story was told, usually I’m not a huge fan of miscommunication in books but this was written so well. The narrator’s both done an excellent job I was engrossed the full time (which I sometimes find with audiobooks I have to rewind because I’ve zoned out but that didn’t happen once).
This is my first Max Monroe read and I am definitely going to be checking out off of their works because this was just *chefs kiss* 🤌🏼

The narrators were fantastic and I found the story to be entertaining. I think this book would be great for a pallet cleanser. The storyline had some twists and turns but there was no annoying 3rd act breakup. Once the main couple gets together they stay together which I really appreciated.

This is the third book in the It’s A Funny Story series and I’ve been looking forward to it. I want to thank @netgalley for the ALC and @goodgirlspr for the PR Box and ARC. To say this is the perfect ending to a series would be an understatement. We first learned about Sammy during Brooke and Chase’s story in book one and since then I was intrigued with Sammy and how her story would turn out. The promos of the story was so unique and there were twists and turns that I honestly was not expecting. I laughed so much throughout the story, especially at the kids’ antics. Honestly, Max Monroe are one click authors for me and I’ll read whatever they write.

Sebastian and Elizabeth did an incredible job with the narration. Elizabeth was a new voice to me but she did a stunning job portraying Sammy. And Sebastian just kills it every time. He’s one of my favorites.

First thought: Binge Worthy, Captivating, Amazing, Must Read! If you like books that start at the end leave you with questions then, start from the beginning allowing you to enjoy the ride this one for you.

Sammy is a single mom in her early 40s, trying to survive life with her two boys in NYC. The last thing on her mind is men and a relationship as she barely has time for herself. Her boys take everything she got as they are always getting into something.

But out of nowhere Sammy somehow has caught the eye of not one but two eligible bachelors. Gavin is a business man who does a lot of business at the restaurant she manages. He’s a nice guy that wants her to let loose and have some fun. Noah is a pediatric anesthesiologist his dog is in love with Sammy’s sister Brooke service dog. He’s a nice guy and always there for her and the boys, he understands that family comes first. So which guy does she pick?

I won’t tell but one thing you do have to know is. Sammy and the universe don’t see eye to eye, whenever things start to go her way it likes to throw her a curveball. This story has lots of twist turns and wtf moments that will leave you laughing, cheering, cursing and turning the pages. I highly recommend as you will fall in love with Sammy, her boys and even Brooke the meddling sister.

This is a dual POV / dual narration, and I absolutely love that! if it were up to me, that’s how all audiobooks would be! I thought the narrators fit the two main characters perfectly and I could see the story unfold in my head as I was listening to it.

The worse news? While I've woken up from my coma, the man I'm in love with hasn't stirred from his.

⇧This is how it all starts out in the book and I immediately had a bunch of questions and wanted to know all the juicy details, so you could say I was hooked from the beginning!

Sammy Baker is a divorced, single mom trying to get her life in order for herself and her two young boys in a new city. Queue the messy love tornado coming her way. This one is definitely one you should read (highly recommend the audiobook) if you like:

There was a little bit of miscommunication, which normally is not my cup of tea, but I will say that the way it was done was actually believable and could happen in real life unlike ones I’ve read in the past.

This was a fun Rom Com.

Sammy is a single mom who's just trying to survive in NYC after a divorce. Her identity is raising her two young boys and trying to survive day by day.

Her sister keeps pushing to get her to move on and stretch her comfort zone to "get back out there", especially with the HOT Anesthesiologist Dr. Noah.

But after an accident leaving her sister in the hospital-- she runs into a hot businessman she works with occasionally, Gavin.

I loved this trad love triangle romcom. No third act break up. Lots of laughs.

Cluelessly Yours is a breath of fresh air in the contemporary romance genre. As an avid indie romance reader I tend to navigate to darker themed reads but love a lighter read from time to time. This book hit the spot. Not only are the characters beautifully flawed & normal but they are all adults over 35. That’s rare in the romance world, at least the books I’ve read.

Sammy is a divorcee with two small boys navigating single parenthood in NYC. Noah is a friend of Sammy’s sister, a celebrated pediatric anesthesiologist and NYCs most eligible bachelor. When their worlds collide what could go wrong? Welp, so much but so worth it. Cluelessly Yours is laugh out loud funny with real life moments that any single mother entering the dating scene can appreciate.

As the famous meme said: "they had us in the first half, not gonna lie." The way my heart rate IMMEDIATELY skyrocketed listening to *that* plot twist around part three. Yes, you see it coming based on the prologue BUT it hits harder once you see their relationship grow. The single-parent trope has my heart because I love to see how a new person is going to blend into the existing family, and Noah did not disappoint. This book had just the right amount of romance, sibling bonds, and little kid antics. If you are looking for a quick fun rom-com read, I would recommend this one! The audiobook in particular has amazing narrators that make you feel as though these characters are right there in front of you.

Max Monroe is a new author to me and I am in LOVE with the writing style! The audiobook is absolutely fantastic! Sammy, a single mom, moves to New York with her mischievous sons and, as a manager of a restaurant, she leads an extremely chaotic life. Sammy's well-intentioned sister attempts to set her up with Noah, a pediatric anesthesiologist. However, Gavin, a successful businessman and frequent customer at the restaurant where Sammy works, also shows interest in Sammy. Who will she end up with? Well, I'm obviously not going to give that one away, now am I? ;) However, she DID make the right choice for her, IMO. This book is part of an interconnected series and I haven't read any of the previous novels, however I had no issues listening and following along as a standalone. Narration of this romance is by Elizabeth Louise (new to me, but LOVED her narration) and Sebastian York (who doesn't love some SY?!?). The banter between the characters was hilarious and I would love to continue the rest of the series! This one's a GOOD one, y'all! Highly recommend!

This book had a LOT of tropes. Its almost as though the author decided to go all out.
Plot:
Sammy is a single mum who recently moved to New York to be closer to her sister. Her ex husband is a deadbeat who isn't in their lives. Brooke is Sammy's sister and having found her soulmate and being currently heavily pregnant decides to play matchmaker and thinks her friend the dashing Dr Noah Phillips is perfect for Sammy. Sammy isn't sure she's even ready to date yet but when successful and charming business man and client Gavin asks her out she pushes herself into uncharted waters and begins a tug of war for Sammy's affection.
With a host of characters who also have their own story input and some twists and spice thrown in the book should keep you on your toes. Although my personal view is it did not make me emotionally invested enough with the all too cliché tropes:

About the audio:
The book is dual narrated by Elizabeth Louise about 2/3 and Sebastian York the other 1/3. Fans of ausiobooks will recognise his deep and sensual voice from many a steamy romance ausiobook. However on this occasion I don't think his very deep voice suited his character very well.
Other than that narration was great.

Thanks for the opportunity to review this book, although it didn't work for me. Some reasons are listed below.
The characters exhibit not so distinct personalities and there's room for more depth. The protagonist strongly leans towards the doctor, creating a compelling dynamic reminiscent of a love triangle, though it might benefit from a more organic development. Consider toning down the pop culture references to maintain a timeless quality. Let's avoid the cliché of dating two people simultaneously, as it can be perceived as unfair, opting for more nuanced and relatable situations.

This might be one of my favorite books so far this year. I saw that this was a third book in a series, but as the audiobook started, there was an author's note. It explicitly stated that this was a standalone. And while some of the characters may be been leads in the first two books in the series, you are not missing anything if you read the series out of order. I still feel in love with the characters and how they were written. Sammy is divorced and the sole caregiver of her two very rambuncous bosy. She finds herself interested in two men, even when she thought that she couldn't possibly find room for a love interest.
