All I can say is wow. I loved this book just as much as the first one.
The writing is so captivating, I couldn't pull myself away from it.
I can't wait to continue to story!
A huge thanks to Second Sky and NetGalley for providing me with this arc.
I thought this was very good and I will have to add this to the shop shelves. Thank you for the chance for us to review.
I had a hard time getting into this book at first. I couldn't remember what happened in the first book and felt very unfamiliar with the characters. After I got past the first handful of chapters, I got into it and found it enjoyable.
A great second book to this series and one I found hard to put down. There is action, romance, thrills and fantasy all mixed together on the pages of this book and what a great book it is. In this second book of the series we see Zarya and Rabin's story developing further and we follow through more adventures
This is a wonderfully written fantasy series that will reel you in and take you on a journey and I do like when an author can do that. I am hanging out now to read the next instalment by this wonderful author as I am hooked now.
Thank you NetGalley and Second Sky for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.
Many thanks to NetGalley for the e-ARC and to Second Sky for giving me the chance to continue this brilliant series.
Tuli has definitely become one of my favourite authors out there and this book was AMAZING! This series has the perfect mix of romance and action, while developing this in a perfect fantasy world.
This second instalment was a great continuation to the story and you definitely get to know more about the characters and their desires, which is something that the first books lacked a bit of.
A brilliant second installment from the amazing Nisha Tuli. I loved how Zarya and Rabin's story develops further and the excitement of the ceremony and the fight against the demons.
Somehow, I realized that my feedback didn't submit from before. This series is one of my all times favorites and I can not wait to know what the next book holds.
I recently completed reading Nisha J. Tuli's Dance of Stars and Ashes. Zarya and Rabin's tension as adversaries turned lovers is captivating, and Dharati's worldbuilding is beautifully fascinating. I was captivated by Zarya's battle with her evil power and Rabin's annoying yet alluring charm. Though it lags a little at points, the narrative is full of surprises and excitement. All things considered, it's a captivating book with the ideal balance of danger, magic, and romance. I'm looking forward to the next book.
Dance of Stars and Ashes was one of the best books I have read in a very long time. The story was captivating, the characters were likeable, the banter was fun even when the story was not, the setting was rich and mesmerizing, and I was never not rooting for the FMC. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
Thank you to NetGalley & the incredible Nisha J Tuli for a copy of the Arc in exchange for my honest review.
Ahh, I'm home! I'm back in one of my favourite lands with my favourite characters for the Nightfire Quartet book 2.
Following on immediately from book one, Zarya is coming to terms with her powers and trying to avoid the handsome Dragon shifter Rabin at all costs.
I found Dance of Stars and Ashes, like its first counterpart, easily drew me in with the perfect blend of Romance and Fantasy. I love that in book 2 we didn't shy away from the south asian influence I adored so much in book 1, the descriptions so vivid I could almost taste, smell and feel my way through their world.
This book also allows us a better insight into the side characters such as Amrita & Aarev as well as expanding on Rabin & Zarya's budding relationship (damn you, slowburn).
This was definitely middle of the road for me. I found this series harder to get into and just a little repetitive. I appreciated the character growth and the flow of writing but I am glad I had the audiobook to get me through. Avid fantasy readers will enjoy it.

I think if you liked the first book in the series you'll like this one as well. I was pretty on the fence with the first book, but the ending was enough to make me just a little intrigued at book 2, but overall the second one was just going......fine. There wasn't anything specific that I was hating but it was shaping up to be just a middle of the road read and I decided I just didn't want to keep reading something that was going to be only okay
I loved this, such a great sequel. I really enjoyed the style of writing as well as the chemistry between the two MCs.
I really enjoyed the continuation of this series. It is so interesting and different to anything I’ve read and I’ve really enjoyed it!
This was a great continuation of the first book. I loved seeing Zarya step into herself and her powers more. I like that this is a story of growth and finding yourself through hardships and figuring out who you are and what you're meant to do. I am very interested in seeing the rest of her journey. Especially this next part. I love a good quest/adventure story and I'm glad we get that with this series.
I want to thank Nisha J.Tuli, Second Sky and Netgalley for this ARC. Here is my opinion after reading it.
I've been looking forward to volume two! The first volume was quite slow, very informative about the universe but lacked a bit of action ( and romance! ) for me.
But in this tome, I got everything I was looking for: action, romance, friendship and more!
We enter the universe, learn more about our characters, and the story of this epic fantasy evolves.
I really enjoyed the evolution of Zarya and her love interest, even if I have a feeling that volume 3 is going to be complicated for my beloved couple.
I'm now looking forward to the next volume. :D
Woah, this book was honestly one of my favorites of the year so far. I actually loved it more than I loved the first one
I read the first book in the series and it was ok. This one was better but still just ok. I was hoping for more.
The pacing is quick but the story just felt a little predictable. I could always tell when there was going to be a battle (which was always well written).
Tuli’s world building and magic system are really good however, you do feel like you are in the world she has created.
Thank you to NetGalley and second sky for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Thank you to publishers for the ecopy
Dance of Stars and Ashes is book 2 in the Series. I found this to be a great story, the action started straight away and the tension and the spice level between Zarya and Rabin was great.
The writing of this novel was fantastic, the author knew how to pull you into the storyline and brought enough to keep the readers attention.
"Dance of Stars and Ashes" immerses readers in a world of passion, magic, and danger, where love ignites like starlight and dark secrets threaten to consume everything in their path. In the vibrant city of Dharati, Zarya discovered the depths of her power with the help of a mysterious stranger named Rabin, whose true identity reveals a dangerous allure that she cannot resist.
As demons gather beyond the city walls and her friends rush to protect their home, Zarya finds herself torn between her duty and her growing attraction to Rabin. With every discovery, she is drawn deeper into a web of enchantment and desire, unsure if her heart will lead to salvation or destruction.
Filled with tension, action, and heart-stopping twists, "Dance of Stars and Ashes" delivers an addictive blend of slow-burn romance and pulse-pounding suspense.
This second installment in the Nightfire Quartet is an irresistible journey that leaves readers breathless and craving more. With its rich imagery, compelling characters, and gripping plot, "Dance of Stars and Ashes" earns its place among the stars as a must-read fantasy romance.
