Thanks NetGalley. This another in a series about the doctors of Harley Street. Shira is joining the group as a nurse to a surgeon and happy to have a chance to do more than regular nursing. Phil is the new surgeon she will be helping. They are both Jewish and contending with that and living in the same place. Bess is there visiting from the Lyon's Den when she burns herself over seeing Phil who looks just like his grandfather who Bess knew when she was young. Shira and Phil fight the attraction for each other and ask Bess for help to find someone to marry.

I find this author’s stories very interesting as she always weaves a bit of Jewish tradition into the details. Not being Jewish, it is interesting to me to see another culture expounded upon. Having read many of the Lyon’s Den books it was wonderful to finally get an understanding of what The Black Widow’s experiences brought her to the matchmaking business. Shira and Phil’s story was very sweet and antsy, though I couldn’t truly figure out what was so wrong about them being together. All in all a very well written, though at times, overly described story with lovely characters and an exciting surgery that was well described. I loved it!
I received this ARC for free and these are my own opinions.

Loved the whole story. It was so sweet. A feel-good story! I didn't want to put the book down. What a lovely ending. 😍
