I was hoping to find a Christian book for my 11 year old that would be both useful and interesting to him- this more than delivered; in places it felt like it had been written for him. I was worried it might be a little young for him, but I think the themes would work universally across the primary school age range (though younger ones of course might need it read to them). The ‘encouragements’ written by guests were good, but it was those from Joanna which made this so special covering themes from worry to friendship, prayer and making decisions.

Thank-you very much to NetGalley and the publisher for the chance to read an eArc of this book.

This is so good for teens. It is chapter and chapter of totally relatable examples of when life gets in the way of living. This covers family, love, listening, emotions and many other snippets of how to allow Jesus to enter in to our day to day lives. The prayers are short, simple and effective, the challenges are fun and thought provoking and the games are worth entering into the spirit of things with. A down to earth look at a teenager’s everyday life with god.
