It was a really interesting read. I thought the use of immortality worked great. It had a strong concept and was delivered perfectly for the general that it was using. This book had a great suspenseful feel and hand up me on the edge of my seat and used the time element perfectly. The characters worked with the timeline and had great themes to their story.

Enjoyable fantasy book to read. Its a page turner and worth the time to read. Congrats writer for making reading cant sit down properly to know more about the stories. Good plot and ending.

I was immediately drawn into the mystery surrounding Gabe's quest for the Phoenix vaccine and the ancient secrets of immortality. The intertwining narratives spanning different eras and cultures added depth to the story, leaving me eager to uncover each new layer of the puzzle.

One aspect of the book that I particularly enjoyed was the exploration of themes such as sacrifice, destiny, and the pursuit of eternal life. As Angie navigates the dangers of her world to protect her unborn child, I found myself deeply invested in her journey and rooting for her to succeed against all odds. Additionally, the historical settings and richly detailed world-building added an immersive quality to the story that made it feel both timeless and relevant.

"All of mankind dies but longs for immortality."

I can't say I didn't like the concept of this book, because I did like it. However, I felt like there was something missing. I enjoyed the way the plot was built little by little throughout the chapters, but when I understood what was going on I stopped finding interesting what I was reading. I think that, maybe, I was expecting something different.

At first I have to say that it felt kind of unnecessary to read the book after the blurb since it was more like a summary. Overall I wish the book was a bit better in pacing and world-building as well. The characters were ok but nothing that stood out to me.
