Many great ideas in this cookbook for those who are going grain free, or who have been grain free! There were a lot of great ideas in this book and it was laid out in a very clear, easy to understand manner.

My partner has Celiac and a dairy allergy so I was grateful to find this cookbook! The author combined both of their children's intolerances and that's basically my partner! LOL. I greatly appreciated the "What to expect" section because it went over 3 main food allergies: gluten, nut, and dairy. For the other allergies, there was a short paragraph addressing them. Each recipe distinctly tells you which allergen it is free from which is wonderful! I knew I would love this book & add it to my collection before I even saw the recipes. Now my favorite one is the Homemade Hazelnut Spread. I love nutella and now my partner and I can enjoy this delicious replacement together!

Thank you to NetGalley, Quarto Publishing Group – Fair Winds, and New Shoe Press for this ARC! ♥

I really enjoyed all the choices in this book. The recipes are varied in flavors but with easy to find ingredients. You can have grain free Chinese, Korean, and any other cuisine you can think of.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with an Arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Overall, I thought this is a really great cookbook- the recipes are actually "quick and easy", the recipes don't include a long list of ingredients or ingredients that you will have to go to a specialty grocery store in order to find. There is also a great verity of the types of recipes. The one critic I have is that some of the "recipes" are more like meal ideas as opposed to a recipe.

This one surprised me. These recipes were easy to follow, with relatively easy to find ingredients. A decent amount of pictures too. Yes, I still wish there were more pictures but the ones included were terrific!

Quick and Easy Grain-Free Recipes for Families doesn’t make it easy on itself. Not only are grains out but so are corn and soy. This forces some unique recipes like tortillas made with almond and tapioca flours or bread made with ground cashews and coconut flour. However, many of the recipes are for items that are naturally grain free like salsa and tuna salad. The Veggie “Tortilla” Soup just omits the chips. Most people could have figured that out on their own.

The recipes are presented well with full color photos and allergen information included. However, the omission of nutritional information is deeply disappointing. Not even calories are listed.

For these reasons, Quick and Easy Grain-Free Recipes for Families gets 3 stars from me.

Thanks to New Shoe Press and NetGalley for a digital review copy of the book.

There seem to be numerous reasons one might choose or need a grain-free and “allergy-friendly” way of eating. This sincere and well-designed cookbook offers many useful and pleasing recipes to provide for these needs. There was nice variety in the recipes aimed at families. The frequent Kitchen Notes and Allergy Substitution suggestions were welcome additions.

As someone who has a boyfriend who goes Keto for 6 months of the year, this book is great to find food we both can enjoy!

This is a good paleo-ish style cookbook designed for moms. The recipes are gluten free and free of grains like corn and rice but still include starches like tapioca starch and some potatoes. Dairy is in some recipes but it’s generally optional. It’s fairly meat heavy so probably not a good fit for vegetarian families. There are photos for about half of the recipes. No nutritional information is provided.

The recipes are designed for kids but I don’t know how much kids would really love them. There are things like broccoli tots and cupcakes made with just a little honey instead of sugar. Adults may accept them quicker than kids who are used to the standard American diet, but these do seem like pretty healthy and easy recipes.

I read a temporary digital loan of this book for review.

My husband was diagnosed with diabetes last year, and i follow a keto diet, so I am always on the lookout for low carb and grain free recipes.

The recipes in this book are easy to follow and produce some really delicious meals. We have only tried a few so far, but I will certainly be making more!

Eating grain-free can improve digestion, but given how much the standard diet is awash in grains, making the switch can feel overwhelming and complicated especially when one of th family is diagnosed as Celiac. Quick and Easy Grain-Free Recipes for Families had plenty of creative recipes for everyone at the dinner table. Easy to follow with clear instructions, it gave a new variety to the meals that were being prepared.

I loved so many of these recipes. I'm so excited to give more of them a go too. The pancakes were a huge hit for breakfasts and also freezer stash food. The recipes are easy to follow and the photos accompanied are very welcomed.

Thanks so very much for an advanced copy. I can't wait to pick on up for the shelves.

As someone who has celiac disease, I'm always excited to see recipes that I may be able to incorporate into my daily rotation. Quick and easy is just my style because the last thing I want to do is cook laborious meals for my family when I get home late at night. There are several recipes I came across that fit that bill, and I look forward to trying them out!

This has to be the most user-friendly cookbook that I have ever read! Vibrant photos make you want to try to recreate the recipes at home. If you are one of the lucky ones that can eat whatever you want, then you will still love this cookbook. However, if you are like me and have to be gluten free, dairy free, soy free then you are going to absolutely freaking love this cookbook! The recipes are so simple and easy to follow with directions that a child could follow! Seriously, I got more excited with each page I turned! I'm ordering this cookbook to share with several friends who are like me and have food allergy issues and are absolutely bored to death with the tedious same old meals that we fall back on as it gets old cooking every single night. I am actually enthused to hit the grocery store (seriously, that never happens, but I really, really am!) and grab the ingredients for the meal I am going to cook tonight from this book. The ingredients are easy, grocery store ingredients which means you don't have to hunt down a specialty grocery store or go to a dozen different places to get what you need for one meal. Seriously, those of us with food allergies know the pain and reality of this! I love that the book is broken down into rational sections and even talks about how to appeal to kids! I am so here for this cookbook and can't wait to get a hard copy in my hands!

This book has great keto/grain-free recipes. Although I'm not grain-free, I like alternative ideas. Also, I love how these recipes are for those who need dairy-free recipes because I have a dairy allergy. Recipes seem easy but require expensive ingredients.

Quick and Easy Grain-Free Recipes for Families : Allergy-Friendly Meals Everyone at the Table Will Love. This is a varied cookbook aiming to satisfy all manner of tastes and preferences. It does say the ingredients are easy to find but the book is aimed at the US market so this might not be the case everywhere. The structure is good and it is good to browse. A great addition to the shelf of anyone looking to cook grain free.

Having been diagnosed with celiac disease two years ago, I am always searching for uncomplicated recipes to make for my new way of life. This book certainly fit the bill. The ingredients aren't difficult to find and would likely be on hand, and the dishes seem to be family-friendly. The photographs are well-done and the layout is easy to read and not cluttered. The author includes allergy substitutions and even things that would not work for the recipe, which I found very helpful. She also includes tips for many recipes to help the process go more smoothly. I plan to start with braised chicken thighs and homemade grain-free tortillas. Thanks to @Netgalley for this advanced e-copy!
