This one's okay there's something significant about it that stands out, but there's also nothing about it that makes me angry. It's a pretty average rate overall

I tend to lean towards audio that has duet or duel narration, but I did enjoy the narrator doing all parts and thought they changed voices well for listeners and readers to understand who was speaking. If you like historical romance with some suspense, then you should grab this one. Some of the words and language used wasn't exactly what I was expecting, but I understand that a virgin FMC may not be familiar with the right names for some body parts. The intimate scenes were written well and descriptive but were not overdone. The story flowed well and I would potentially read more from this author.

So exciting! I love a Sabrina Jeffries romance, and Accidentally His is a marvelous, edge of your seat mystery with a hearty helping of steamy romance! I haven't read the first two books in this series, and I had no trouble following along. I'm definitely going to be getting them as soon as possible.

These are terrific characters, and Jeffries builds such marvelous attraction between Verity and Rafe - it was impossible for me to stop listening. I enjoyed this audiobook straight through and Beverley A. Crick delivers a fantastic performance.

I recently delved into this delightful escape into a Regency romance with a twist. The story of Lady Verity and Rafe Wolfford is not your average historical romance; it's intertwined with elements of espionage and intrigue. Lady Verity's involvement in a pioneering party planning business and Rafe's hidden agenda as a spy makes for a captivating plot. Their reluctant partnership, fueled by necessity and shadowed by secrets, evolves into a genuine, unexpected, and heartwarming connection. Beverley A. Crick's narration brought the characters to life with her splendid vocal performance, adding depth and emotion to the story. This audiobook was a wonderful blend of mystery, romance, and historical charm.

I loved the build up of this story , the mystery and the romance was so sweet and perfect! I loved how masculine and feminine the characters are ! I recommend this book however I didn’t know it was a series of books when I grabbed it ! You didn’t need the begging of the series to understand the characters story line how ever I’m sure I would’ve loved the rest of the characters in the family if I had read them first

A mix between James Bond-esque spy mystery meet the Bridgertons!
If you love both mystery and historical romance, you'll love this book

This is my first time reading Sabrina Jeffries's book so I was pleasantly surprised how entertaining her writing is
Not to mention how absolutely fun this was
Please go into this book blind so you get the full effect of the mystery and the nuances of the story
Also... even though this is book 3 of a series, I don't think you necessarily need to read the other books previously to this
This can definitely be read as a standalone as I haven't read the two previous books

This is a solid 4 star read for me
Thank you to Sabrina Jeffries, RB Media, and Netgalley for providing me with this audiobook in exchange for a honest review

Definitely the BEST of the series! Jeffries penned a real masterpiece this time. I really loved the touch of mystery and action and for once the “villain” even surprised me! Verity is really a GREAT character, smart, strong, perceptive and I adored Rafe with his vulnerability despite his strength of character. I even cried a bit at the end! This book had really everything I look for in a historical romance and I’m really sorry this gorgeous series has come to an end.
The narrator is so very, very talented! Her male voices are perfect and she’s so very good at conveying the passion of a love scene and the characters’ feelings. Utter perfection!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A Regency Romance with very good characters ,mystery, fun, treason, romance.
Rafe is trying to find out who is a traitor which gets him involve with Verity .
without him realizing that she is more than a sourse of information.
Really enjoyed listening to.
Narration was good.
Voluntarily reviewed.

I listened to this via audiobook.

The narrator was a little off putting to me. I adored the story, but the change in tone, the difference between characters, didn't work for me.

It drove me absolutely insane having to hear about his, "Venus", his "Goddess Venus Verity." It just disappointed me how much the author relied on that nickname to force intimacy. I just got so stuck on that, it made me grind my teeth every time I heard it.

The mystery aspect, I had figured out pretty early on. I did enjoy getting to go on the journey with Verity and how clever she was. She is such a versatile character that pushed other characters. I like that in a leading lady.

SPOILERS TO FOLLOW

THIS WAS INCREDIBLE. I loved Raphael and Verity so much. All of her POV's were her saying "I know this man," "He's spying on my family I just know it," "I'm gonna say something to trip him up." and all of Raphael's POV's were him saying "There's no way she knows who I am." "She wouldn't have recognized me I'm too good of a spy," "It's a coincidence that she's mentioning these things." HONESTLY IT WAS SO FUNNY. I loved how she was able to figure him out so well and he was SO SURE that he wouldn't have been found out.

I was worried how their relationship would go because, a relationship built on a lie isn't easy but since Verity knew with some certainty that he was lying (even a little bit) about who he was, I think it was easier for their overall relationship/plot of the story. I was so glad when they were married and he could finally tell her everything that she had suspected.

I hadn't realized when I first started this story that it was the final book in a trilogy so now I'll have to go back and read the others! I don't think I've read anything from this author before but I can't wait to do so now!

Accidently His

After having read the first two books in this series, I listened to the audiobook of the third story, narrated by Beverley A Crick.
It's a terrific story about a young woman, Lady Verity, who shares an event planning enterprise with two of her sisters. It is when attending many of the season's events that she notices a man repeatedly who seems familiar, but is it just her imagination? Lady Verity is quite bright, and almost twenty-six, which is nearing spinsterhood in her day. She had a bad experience with romance years before and has resigned herself to being no more than a good aunt, which disappoints her, but she isn't really sure marriage is for her anyway.
Rafe Wolfford is the heir to a Viscount, an English officer, and also a man with secrets. He is working for England's Home Office as a spy and trying desperately to discover a traitor in their midst. Rafe, too, has a colorful past and regrets of his own.
Rafe's one way into a closed group of possible suspects is to court one of their family members, Lady Verity.
The plot is interesting, and it kept this reader guessing for quite a while into the story. The attraction between the H and h is heated, but not gratuitous in nature.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and the narration.
Beverley A. Crick is a talented voice artist who does well with differentiating between characters distinctively. I highly recommend this and the series of three books.

Accidentally His
by Sabrina Jeffries
Narrated by Beverley A. Crick

Rating: 3.6/5.0 Stars

Accidentally His by Sabrina Jeffries was a quick, easy listen. The narration was done well, though I thought Verity sounded a bit older than she was supposed to be. It was easy to listen, and Ms. Crick brought life to the characters. Rafe is acting as a spy, and through this, he ends up right in Verity's crosshairs. She thinks she's seen him before somewhere, but she can't quite place it. Rafe only intends to use Verity as a means to an end, a way to find out who the traitorous spy is in their circle. What he doesn't expect is to actually like Verity, and when the sparks fly between them, he realizes that there may be more there. I don't want to give away more of the story, but this is a cute historical romance with moderate sizzle, moderate action, and, well, like I said, it's a quick, easy listen.

The story didn't progress along as quickly as it could have, but I enjoyed listening nonetheless. Thank you to NetGalley, RB Media, and the author for the chance to listen to and review this ARC!

This is the third and final installment of the Dazzling Debutantes series. It is a standalone (indeed, it can be read without prior history) historical fiction romance set in 1810s England. The Lovely immediate dynamic between Rafe and Verity sets the tone as each tries to figure out the other. Both have walled their hearts tightly with past trauma holding back their happiness. Can they navigate the murky waters of secrecy and drama unscathed?

The speculation keeps the reader guessing as events and their attraction draw the duo together. It is well-crafted in a grounded way, with details on the British/French war, espionage, and English terminology—a rare find. Add in the sweet relationship, and it passes muster. Let’s champion and support more couples like this one.

4.2/5-star rating and 5/5-star rating for the narrator!!

Of note: a few spicy, intimate scenes; reader beware.

This was a sponsored ARC through NetGalley for an honest review.

Sabrina Jeffries is an author I've long loved, and when I happen to read or listen to her books, I immediately think "Why don't I read her more often?!" Accidentally His is the third volume in a ongoing story of three sisters, but I jumped in without having read the first two (they sit on my to-be-read mountain!) and had no difficulty catching up. Lady Verity has endured the slings and arrows of society's opprobrium more than once, but she has emerged resilient and determined with a strong sense of independence and now runs a business with her sisters. Rafe is equally independent and indifferent to society's whims as his main goal is serving his country clandestinely in its fight against Napoleon. Someone's been secreting information to the French, possibly even someone from Lady Verity's extended family, and Rafe is on the hunt. The plot was well-constructed, the romance a lovely slow-burn, and the conclusion to both the mystery and the love story was perfect.

This is the first time that I've read, or rather, listened to a Sabrina Jeffries novel. I picked this up because the description said that readers who like Lisa Kleypas novels would be interested in this book. I cannot say that I really think this novel is like a Lisa Kleypas book though. I think the character development was shallow and the relationship between the two protagonists seemed rushed and lacking in depth and passion. For lack of a better way to put it, I thought the intimate scenes were missing fire and the descriptions of the characters actions were a bit too metaphorical for me. I liked the narrator's voice and feel that the plot was good but could have been developed a good deal more.

This book had a great storyline/plot that I could find myself lost in. The character development was also well done. As far as historical romances go this one is worth the read. I can’t wait to see what’s next from this author.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for an ALC of the audiobook.

It generally goes against my nature to read books in a series out of order, and I hadn't read the first two books in this (apparent) trilogy. But this being a historical romance series, I guessed any spoilers wouldn't truly spoil anything, the happily ever after being a foregone conclusion. So I jumped on in anyway. I'm glad I did - I think! - because now there are two more books on my ever-expanding TBR list. I've read a few of Sabrina Jeffries' other books and enjoyed those, and this was not an exception. She again established interesting characters, both with their imperfections, but perfect for each other. And there's an interesting little side plot involving spies and smuggling. I listened to the audio version and Beverly A. Crick's narration was excellent. Now I'm looking forward to reading the first two books, and enjoying the journeys of the first two couples.

“Accidentally His” was my first ever audiobook, not just for review, but I never ventured in to the audiobooks thinking they might be hard to keep track of, and might also get boring. So it was a risk I took, that actually paid off. Having a penchant for historical romances, the story had me captivated from the get go. Though I have to admit that in the start I had difficulty placing people and the names, but then it started to make sense in a very organic way.
The story has a strong female lead, Verity, who is both a go getter but also has the feminine sensitivity and compassion. she is also very intelligent and intrusive BUT she tries to keep that particular trait in check… not always very successfully though.
Our hero on the other hand is very straight forward, even though secretive, but he doesn’t hide his emotions. He has work to do and he needs to infiltrate the Harper family, and to that, he needs to woo Verity… simple, right? But no one can dictate the matters of the heart, not even Rafe, the ever so “in control” spy for the crown!
The mystery in the book, though intriguing, didn’t take long for me to solve, it was pretty clear as to who, in the Harper family, had been acting as a “spy” for the enemy.
I also have to applaud the narrator, Ms Beverley Crick, who honestly made the book easier to follow, with clear and crisp narration.
Overall a good and quick listen.
