A fun read but ulitimately not very memorable. A good pick me up if you like small town romances though.

Oh how I love this series!

The Lovelight Series continues featuring the romance between Nora and Charlie. I listened to the audio format and really enjoyed the narration.

B.K. Boris on does a fantastic job of making you want to crawl into her novels and live alongside her characters/be best friends with them. This fourth novel in the Lovelight series follows Nova (Beckett’s sister) as she works to open her own tattoo parlor in Inglewild and Charlie (Stella’s brother) as he works to find any reason to visit the small town, and the resident tattoo artist. Their one night stand leads to both of them wanting more than just a good time with each other as they learn how warming it can be to find love and support from allowing another person into your life. And I absolutely LOVE a grumpy-sunshine trope. I’m going to miss these characters and this town.

I had the absolute pleasure of receiving an arc of this beauty months ago and it’s been on my mind ever since. As you may be able to tell from the annotations, I felt Charlie and Nova’s story deeply. It was a beautiful tapestry of unraveling painful strings of their pasts to weave something wonderful together.

So so sad to be saying goodbye to this series and world but I know I’ll be back to visit!

I really liked this book! The premise and all the events in the book are believable and compelling. Charlie's so cute that I want to hug him. He wants everyone around him to be happy, although my impression was that he sometimes used to forget his own happiness to somehow please others. Nova is too hard with herself. That said, I loved Charlie and Nova's unforced attraction. Yes, they're opposites, but their strong chemistry is what makes them a fantastic couple. This is my first book from this author, and I’m eager to read the rest of the series thanks to this book.

The Lovelight series captured my heart with the first book, Lovelight Farms, and has held on through the rest of the books. I love Inglewild and these characters so much, and it was so hard to crack this final book open because I was not (and never will be) ready to say goodbye. This friend group is the stuff of dreams. I love all of them, and I have loved reading their stories. Business Casual is all about Charlie and Nova, and I adored them! Charlie in particular has been a character I’ve enjoyed throughout the series, and I loved getting to know him better. I have trouble with no-string-attached hook-ups, so I was a bit worried about this love story. But it was so good. I loved Nova and Charlie worked together to figure out what they each wanted in life, both individually and together. I loved reading about how they worked through their stuff and tackled hard things together. There were some deeper, heavier issues sprinkled throughout the book that were well done and made the final reward that much sweeter. Their banter was on point, and their love gave me all the feelings I want from a romance novel. The vulnerability they both show warmed my heart and made me ache for them. These two will grow old and grey together, I just know it.

The thing I love so much about this series is how cozy and heartwarming it is. These books are like a cozy blanket and a cold day or a cuddle with the softest kitten. They just make me smile, and I love how interconnected the stories are. You can read them all as a standalone, but you’re not going to want to do that. You’re going to want to read them in order and fall in love as they do. I loved checking in with everyone from the previous books, and the author did the most amazing job wrapping up everything for everyone. I’m sad to say goodbye to these characters and this cute little town, but I know I will be back for a visit soon. This is a highly re-readable series! If you’re looking for a comfy, cozy small town romance series with the best cast of characters ever, it’s right here!

Firstly, I'd like to apologize for the delay in sending in this review. I found out I was pregnant in early June 2024 and then entered the biggest reading slump of my life. So glad to have finally finished this beauty of a book!

This book was just downright delightful and absolutely everything I wanted from the ending of the Lovelight Farms series. B.K. Borison has such a knack for creating the most picturesque town with the quirkiest cast of characters. I honestly feel right at home whenever I am reading a book from this series.

Business Casual is EASILY my favorite book in the whole series. I absolutely adored Charlie and Nova and their undeniable chemistry. Charlie feels like such a nuanced male character to me and I honestly related to him so much. I don't often find myself relating to the male character over the female, but his internal struggles with wanting to feel wanted just really hit a cord with me.

Probably my fave in the Lovelight farms series. Simply adored nova and Charlie !!!! Both so perfect for each other 🥹🥹🥹

Welp, I think it’s safe to say that B.K. Borison just isn’t for me. I didn’t love Lovelight Farms, but I wanted to give this one a shot—only to tap out 100-ish pages in.

I was bored. It was slow. Nova was annoying, and I couldn’t bring myself to care about anything happening—because, frankly, nothing was happening. The conflict felt manufactured out of thin air, the dialogue was choppy and awkward, and I cringed way too much for something that’s supposed to be light and sweet. I don’t get the hype?? I have my glasses on, and I still can’t see it.

Charlie, though? He was the only good thing about this book. I wish he had a better FMC because I would love to keep reading about him. But Nova? Nope. Couldn’t do it.

This was definitely my favorite book in the Lovelight Farm series, as well as my favorite main characters. Charlie and Nova are opposites, but have a strong attraction. Their relationship didn't feel rushed, and I feel like we got the best character development in the series in this book. Charlie is the sweetest golden retriever who just wants everyone around him to be happy, his own happiness and well being be damned. Nova is slightly grumpy but also is putting way too much pressure on herself. I love them, and I love this ending to the Lovelight Farm series

BK Borison can do no wrong. I love her writing and this story, like her other books, is so sweet. I don’t think anyone writes longing the way BK Borison does.

Charlie, the man that you are. I adored this book, I was so worried I’d be disappointed because I had hyped up my man Charlie so much but I should’ve known my girl B.K. Would get him absolutely perfect. I’m so sad the series is over but what a wonderful series it was!

I ADORED Nova and Charlie’s story! Charlie’s a city boy who lives for his trips to Lovelight Farms. Nova is the local tattoo artist of the small town. I love an opposites attract romance, and a good “surely a one night stand will get this out of our system” hits every time.

This was a really beautiful end to a series I loved, and I would encourage others to read them in order to get the full impact!

charlie is a walking green flag😭im down bad for him. he’s so thoughtful and golden retriever AHH. the way he puts everyone else before himself and how our girl nova teaches him to love himself💕nova is also just such an admirable fmc. i feel like i can relate to her people pleasing tendencies and charlie swoops in and shows her how to put herself first! match made in heaven tbh. i also really enjoyed the small town trope it was done SO SO WELL. literally stars hallow.

The love I have for Charlie and Nova knows no bounds. He’s a cocky flirt with a big heart and she’s a loveable badass

This series is one of my favourites, a true comfort read, and Business Casual was the perfect addition to round it off.

Business Casual is two people coming together because they absolutely understand each other. It’s for the people pleasers who spread themselves thin, overthink, and feel they have something to prove and live up to (even when they don’t). I felt seen by Charlie’s desire to make everything work for everyone he loved, and Nova’s need for perfection to not disappoint the people who care about her the most.

It’s wholesome and sweet but also so horny and I was so here for it!!

(I got an ARC of this through NetGalley, it will be out on July 16, 2024.) This is the last book in the Lovelight Farms universe, but you don’t have to have read the others to enjoy this one. Nova has been working hard to get her tattoo shop ready to open in her small town of Inglewild – she wants everything to be absolutely perfect, and doesn’t want to let anyone down. Charlie, an investment banker from the city, is staying in town to help take over his sister’s business while she’s on her honeymoon. Charlie has always been flirty with Nova, and Nova decides that what they really need is to “get it out of their system,” just once! (Has that ever worked??) It’s a cute story, and Inglewild reminds me of Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls – every character is so much fun, and the small-town vibes are perfect.

Another wonderful book from BK Borison and the final instalment in the Lovelight series. Absolutely an incredible read that I already want to reread. This is truly the best small town romance series I've read and Charlie and Nova were such a great couple to read about. So much emotion is woven through this story. It was incredible.

I seriously love this series & need more of Lovelight Farms in my life! These books give all the feels plus just enough spice.
