Favorite book of the series!! Love Charlie and Nova. All of these books make you want to live in Lovelight Farms. Favorite author and favorite series… sad to see it end.

ok this book was actually laced with crack. let me tell you— I was in a life altering CRIPPLING slump and this book CURED ME! this book lowkey fixed my life!!! business casual had literally everything I was looking for in a book!!!! being back in the lovelight universe was so lovely and truly felt like a warm hug. from the second I started reading I felt like a warm blanket was being wrapped around me bc seeing all our lovelight peeps and couples was so sweet. and then we get to see the highly anticipated nova and charlie in action. and WOW WOW WOW!!! the tension was pouring off the pages from the START!!!!! I loved seeing charlie in his full throttle charisma and flirty ness✨. that man could charm my pants off and he wouldn’t even have to try!!!! and I absolutely loved seeing nova and her black cat, fierce and sassy self. a woman after my own heart truly!!! their dynamic was to die for bc charlie knows exactly how to push nova’s buttons (but in a good way!!!) and I loved seeing how everything unfolded. I feel like from the start charlie knew nova wanted him deep deep down but he needed to help her realize that. and he did it in the best way bc he was so patient and never pushed her. he let her slowly figure it out on her own and had her going from I don’t need a man and/or relationship to I WANT AND NEED YOU CHARLIE MILFORD!!!

I genuinely loved every single aspect of this book. the setting, the side characters, CHARLIE AND NOVA OBVI, the tension, the spice 🥵🤌🏼❤️‍🔥. seeing more of nova and beckett (my mans) in action and their beautiful and sweet sibling relationship was to did for 🥹. the little antics of the meddling town and the phone tree and all their chaos had me giggling into my kindle it made me SO HAPPY.

but most importantly I loved seeing the growth of both charlie and nova throughout the story. I feel like I related to nova in many ways (except the black cat girly bc i’m a sunshine girly through and through) and seeing her be open to letting someone in made my heart truly so happy. and seeing charlie realize he had his people and support group made me want to cry. two absolutely beautiful characters truly!!!

I can’t believe this series is now over. it’s truly been such a treat from start to finish. this town and the people will always be so special to many of us. I love that throughout the series b.k. consistently gave us cute rom-coms, heavy on the romance, beautiful inticimacy and overall to die for sweet moments between the couples. makes me want to cry fr it’s so beautiful!!!!!

Dare I say this is BK's best book yet? I will always have a special place in my heart for Lovelight Farms, but this one is the best. Right from the beginning I was so invested in this story. Charlie and Nova melted my heart a million times over. They are also HOT! The tension, chemistry and spice.. yes please.

Give me a grumpy v. sunshine trope, and I will eat it up... give me that trope where the woman is the grump and the man is the golden retriever and I will DEVOUR it.

Charlie is so sweet to Nova it hurts. His obvious adoration of her is consistent and precious, and it's so cute how they thought one night with each other would cleanse the other out of their systems.

This series has quickly become my favorite of all time, and this installation only solidifies that.

Pretty much conflict-free, but somehow it doesn't matter? Nova and Charlie are characters I liked, spending time in Inglewild again was nice, the steamy parts were steamy, the funny parts were funny. I think this is my favorite in the series.

What a fantastic read! Nova & Charlie's story is so sweet. Tropes include friends with benefits, he falls first, golden retriever energy MMC, best friend's sibling, and small town. Best of all? NO THIRD ACT BREAKUP!! Highly recommend!

This was my least favorite of the Lovelight series. It was quite steamy and some of the scenes were a little "squick" for me. I loved Charlie and I was rooting for him to understand himself more and to stop trying to earn love. All in all it seemed to drag on. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ A little spicy for my taste. Caution to sensitive readers.

Love this latest book in this charming series. I love the characters and the setting. I hope we get a whole town's worth of books in this series.

I had to give myself time to read the first books in the series and let me say I am so glad I did! This book is an amazing way to end the series I loved everything about Charlie and Nova! I loved the way the characters fell hard in a way the reader saw coming but the characters have no idea lol! Basically these two people throw themselves into work when they meet and pour into each other in a way that really drew me in. Charlie was perfection and the series was perfect I so glad I could read it through the end!

Another fantastic book in this series from BK Borison. Love this series and don't want it to end. I can't wait for more from this author and I can't wait to grab the audio version as well.

In the fourth and final installment of the Lovelight Farms series, we follow Nova and Charlie. Nova is a grumpy tattoo artist that has sworn off love and Charlie is Stella’s brother who helps occasionally run the business.

I kept a lot of notes while reading and here’s the gist of those notes

I was not a fan of how the book started as it started with Stella and Luka’s wedding and it immediately felt like the main characters would be side characters in their own book..

Charlie and Nova in the first few chapters were hard to differentiate , based on how they spoke (this however does change and you can surely differentiate the two as you continue reading ) they even said the exact same sentence in regards to Stella and Luca

I was not a fan of how sexually Charlie was thinking about Nova at the beginning and when she asks him to come home with her a few minutes later, he was clueless as to what she meant when he had stated he was suspicious of her flirting with him..

This is a direct quote from my notes “the first s*x scene… I wanna cry it’s so cringey” they kept reassuring each other that it was good and then for some reason mid s*x scene John Stamos was mentioned ??? And when Nova was about to O, she said almost there? It was just awkward for me

Charlie also at the beginning had somewhat of a degradation kink that faded out.

Throughout the first three books, we were following main characters that were continuously mentioned in all three of the books. Nova was mentioned as a side character in the second book from Beckett‘s perspective as she is his sister. I read the first two books in the series earlier this month and I cannot ever recall Stella having a brother name Charlie. I do not know why I cannot remember if it was mentioned, but he must have been that insignificant of a character In my opinion, if I didn’t even remember that he existed. So ending the series together with two side characters getting together? I just think that they were too irrelevant for me to be as invested in them and care about them when I was wanting more from the main characters of the past three books.

That also ties in to me, not liking that the book started with the wedding scene because I wish that we got more background from our two main characters as we did not know them very well and within the first eight chapters of the book it felt very Insta love. Also, at this very same point in the book I was more invested in Vanessa’s life, and was hoping that there would be a Novella written for Vanessa.

I also feel like this book contained more of a time span than the last books because within 50% of this one it had already been weeks.

I know it sounds like I’m saying a lot of bad things about this but once you push through and get through all that not so good stuff that I just stated I did end up getting pretty invested and Charlie and nova and I was really rooting for them and I do really love how BK ended did the book and the story for Lovelight Farms.

I also do wish that we had a little bit more snippets of the phone tree. The gossipy phone tree is one of my favorite things that wasn’t every single little book, but I feel like it was in this one a lot less than the previous three.

Other than that, I did enjoy the book and the ending and I love the entire series just following all these characters in the small little town finding love and going through a lot of personal growth

If you have seen my reviews for the other Lovelight Farms books, you would know how much I actually did not love them. HOWEVER, this book was the book I have been waiting for her to write. It was so cute 😍

Business Casual did what all the other books in the series didn't and it was really refreshing and I just loved how full of depth this story was. I fell in love with both Charlie and Nova and I really enjoyed their development both individually and together.

Highly recommend if you’re a fan of small town, friends with benefits and loosely brothers “best” friend. If you enjoyed Lovelight Farms, I think you’ll really enjoy this one! I know I did

Going back to Inglewild one last time was a dream! B.K. Borison has a way of transporting you, and I loved every second of it! Nova and Charlie had my whole heart!

What an ending to the series🥹this book was just so sweet!!! I was giggling and kicking my feet while reading while also getting my heartstrings tugged on!

Charlie!!! The kindest, caring, loving, down BAD man! I love him sm! Nova girl🫶🏾she was everything and more I loved getting to know her and her story after mentions of her throughout the series. She was such a relatable character. Charlie and Nova are both perfectly imperfect but made for each other! They both saw each other for who they are and it just warmed my heart!!! Of course I loved being back in Inglewild with all the couples altogether again! This book was the perfect ending to the lovelight series and I enjoyed every second of it!!!

NovaCharlie was everything I needed and more. Two people not looking for love, fiercely independent but also needing something that's just for them as they pour themselves into their work, their family and their smalltown.

Nova is trying to prove herself to her town, her fmaily, and more importantly herself by opening up her business. Struggling to let anyone see her vulnerable, and in walks Charlie, chaotic and all he wants to do is take care of her. These two had increidble banter as they both fumbled through figuring things out. I loved the intgegtration of the small town antics as these two snuck around.

Charlie had me screaming as he lived every breath to just make Nova feel so cared for with every single thing he did big or small. Struggling to let someone take care of himself I adored how they both just stood up for the other in a way no one ever had before, how they became best friends at the same time leaning on the other because they loved each other so much.

That ending had a frog in my throat, it was a perfect way to say goodbye to this small town, because like Charlie Lovelight has taken us all in and we don't want to let it go. I'm already ready to reread this series again.

Oh. My. Gosh! Business Casual by B.K. Borison is seriously like the ultimate heartwarming story in a Lovelight series that had me hooked from start to finish! Five stars? More like a million stars! This book totally rocked my world!

Let's start with Nova and Charlie because, oh my stars, these two are the definition of relationship goals! Nova's got this whole "no time for love" thing going on, but then Charlie swoops in with his three-piece suits and irresistible charm, and suddenly, she's questioning everything.

Nova herself? She's funny, smart, and has a heart of gold. I felt every ounce of pressure she was under to succeed, and her journey throughout the book? It hit me right in the feels. And Charlie? He's not just a handsome face; he's a total sweetheart with a side of swoon-worthy charm. I mean, come on, who wouldn't want a Charlie in their life?

But let's talk about their relationship because, holy cow, it's like watching a slow-burning fire ignite into an inferno of passion! The banter? The tension? I was practically squealing with delight every time they were on the page together. And when they finally gave in to their feelings? Let's just say I needed a moment to collect myself because the sparks were flying!

And don't even get me started on the Lovelight crew! They're like the ultimate squad goals—supportive, hilarious, and always there for each other no matter what. I laughed, I cried, and I may have even hugged my book a time or two because the feels were just that intense!

As I reached the end of the final chapter, I was legit feeling all the feels—totally pumped up and kinda bummed at the same time. Saying peace out to this series was like saying goodbye to a crew of my besties. Business Casual is hands down a must-read if you're all about that opposites-attract vibe, digging small-town romance, or living for those found family vibes. It's basically like a warm hug for your heart that you won't forget anytime soon. Major props to B.K. Borison for dropping this masterpiece that's gonna stick with me for a long time!

This was such a good read and my favorite in the series. Charlie and Nova were so so cute and swoon-worthy. I love how tender and steamy the main characters were especially when dealing with the feelings that came with life and their no strings attached casual hookups. Charlie and Nova were such great characters with so much depth and layers to each other. I loved the aspect of Charlie's loneliness and the front he had put up for others. Their chemistry was also amazing and the found family aspect was sweet. This is opposites attract done so well and overall this book was a great comfort and steamy read.

That’s a wrap on the Lovelight Series… and I swear every book in this series is better than the last.
I’ve enjoyed all of these sweet books. I thought that Mixed Signals would end up being my favorite until I read Business Casual.
This has been one of the best romances I’ve read all year. The chemistry between these two characters, Charlie and Nova, was truly unreal.
Both of these characters had so much depth, that it felt personal. The story manages to share their emotions and fears, yet also provides top-tier banter.
For me, I was giggling and smiling from the first chapter. Then by the last thirty percent of the book, I was teary-eyed.
I love this book and I think I’m in love with Charlie. He’s definitely the ideal man. He’s charming, he’s funny, and he’s an acts of service king.
Nova is the best. She’s a bit misunderstood and she’s fiercely independent. Together, the two of them, although opposites in many ways, make the perfect pair.
BK Borison is officially an auto-buy author of mine. I’ve now read this entire series, and I can’t wait to see what she creates next.
If you haven’t read this series yet, you need to! There are four books total, with this one coming out on July 16th. Trust me you won’t regret it!
