this book is for the girlies who put pressure on themselves to be perfect without realising they already are perfect. it is for the girlies who crave physical touch and words of affirmations. it is for the insecure girlies who doubt they are ever good enough. And it is for the girlies who feel the need to hide themselves and are scared of being too much, too loud, too annoying. YOU ARE ENOUGH!
this book was an instant 5 star read for me. From the first page i felt connected to this book and was dreading finishing it. The characters, the story, the amount of depth this book has while also being super funny and sweet was just amazing. I also loved the appearances of all the lovelight characters. This book felt like coming home, I adored every second of it.
The dynamic between Charlie and Nova was a breath of fresh air, I adore the black cat x golden retriever trope and this book is the blueprint for it. It reminded me why I love this trope so much, from the chemistry to their banter to the sheer depth of these characters. Utter perfection. I saw myself so much in many different aspects of Charlie's character and all I wanted to do was give this man a big hug.
Charlie is the insecure, but confident on the outside and the notorious people pleaser and Nova, is the closed off, independent girl boss. Their relationship was so raw and honest, and the communication was healthy which I loved to see!!! It developed in such a natural and genuine way I was constantly giggling and kicking my feet! I loved that this one was more steamy and I ate up every single smutty part. The dirty talk was honestly next level. They both supported each other and were so purely themselves, it was wonderful.
The tattoo scene had me in tears for days, just thinking about it makes me emotional!
The little inside jokes and banter was everything to me, it really solidified them as being soulmates.
One of my top romances of this year and it is only January, thank you BK Borison for this masterpiece!!
And thank you Berkley for the early copy!!

Incredible. Borison’s best installation in the entire series yet. I loved the dynamic between Nova and Charlie - how they’re polar opposites in nature but have similar values - which is such a realistic relationship dynamic. It made all of their interactions believable and strike me straight in the heart.
I especially loved Charlie’s found family trope and how he found a safe and accepting tribe in Inglewild.
There was a moment where Layla was so compassionate about Charlie’s adhd and asked him if she needed to repeat herself (kindly) and, as someone with adhd who always felt not enough, it made me tear up.
Nova and Charlie’s love story was equal parts beautiful, real, and oh so sexy. I loved every part of it and I’m so glad I got to be a part of one more Inglewild love story.
I also especially loved the bits of the book where Nova and Beckett connected as close siblings. They obviously love each other so much and I’ve always enjoyed a good sibling trope. Honestly, all of Borison’s side characters and side relationships truly make her storytelling whole.
Also, props to Borison’s writing for always being inclusive, diverse, and representative. I can’t wait for more from her.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! BK Borison won my heart in 2022 and I have no shame admitting I squealed when I saw I was accepted for an e-arc of this book. And boy did it live up to all of my hopes and expectations.
Nova is your classic black cat, younger sister kind of character. She thinks that for her to succeed she needs to do it all on her own. In this part of the series, we catch up with her when she is about to open her tattoo studio (which by the way, sounds amazing) and she is struggling to make everything work. Enter Charlie.
Charlie is also the younger sibling of a previous featured couple (Stella, from book one) and he is the fun loving, goofy charmer that everyone knows will be there for a good time, but they never expect a long time. Charlie has gotten through having an abusive father by making himself the life of the party, but at his heart is a deep loneliness. I thought his POV was so well done as he grapples with his ADHD and trying to find his place.
The two enter into a no-strings-attached arrangement that just keeps growing. And we all know how that goes. I will always recommend this series, it is perhaps one of the coziest romances out there, and I can't wait to see what BK Borison does next.

Okay miss Borison... what magic are you drinking to be able to pull off another Inglewild gem so perfectly?!
I'm basically an honorary Inglewild resident. That might make me slightly biased here, but I honestly tried to set all of my bias aside and still came away with a 5 star rating, so. 🤷🏼♀️
Business casual had alllllll the comfort of being back in Inglewild, with plenty of our favorite crew and meddling townspeople. The spice was ~ramped up~ in this one, but it didn't take away from the vulnerability and tenderness that we love in all of Bec's books! I really didn't know how Charlie boy was going to rise to the rankings of the rest of the Lovelight boys, but boy 👏🏼 did 👏🏼 he.
It was soft and spicy and gentle and brave and just plain perfect.
Some things to love:
+ a giant puppy dog MC
+ small town shenanigans
+ "we don't want relationships"
+ a tattooed girlie
+ self-discovery
+ "get it out of our systems"
+ stella, luka, beckett, evie, Iayla, caleb
+ a bubble wrapped heart
+ brother's best friend 🤫
+ a "give me attention" boy
+ a lovely series wrap-up
{Thank you to bkborison and NetGalley for this advanced readers copy}

Nova and Charlie are keeping things casual. Business casual. But when have things ever just stayed casual. With these two searching for their place and fighting for themselves, they find each other and they find love. This book is THE book. This couple is THE couple. Book of the year. I’m so deeply moved by these characters.

"Maybe we can call it Business Casual."
"Are you using corporate talk to turn me on, Nova?"
Our final visit to Lovelight Farms. I could cry. The lovelight crew have been such a comfort for me and are each so incredible and special. I will admit Business Casual is my favorite, Charlie and Nova just connected to me more personally and I couldn't get enough of their story!
"It's Nova, she's already seen me moonwalk in a reindeer costume at the tree farm during the holidays."
Charlie is an absolute delight! He's caring, compassionate, happy, hilarious, and just a really fun character that made me laugh so much! The way he was so in tuned to Nova!! Seeing the little snippets in previous Lovelight books is one thing, but to be in his head and hear that boy profess his obsession is absolutely adorable!!! He's happiest when making other people happy but also finds himself asking himself if it's too much, is he too much, always doubting his place amongst his friends in Inglewild and whether it's genuine or out of some pity? I wanted to hug him.
"I always notice you, Nova girl?"
Beckett's youngest sister, Nova Porter, is a tattoo artist and is opening her own shop in Inglewild. She's independent, bold, and fierce and doesn't want or have time for relationships. She guards her heart and her family or friends see her with a bubble wrapped heart, protected and put away from hurt, and maybe it's the wedding going on in front of her, but she suddenly wants something more and fun.... and Charlie is looking like a lot of fun.
These two were absolutely adorable and had some of the best and hilarious banter that I've read, they just flowed so smoothly together and honestly were another perfect match. Charlie being an absolute sunshine and Nova being the grump, too freaking cute!!! Their vulnerability and unwavering trust for each other had me clutching for air! EEEEEK, I just love them so much.

BK Borison deserves every single praise for this. Freaking PERFECTION. 10/10. This was just so so good. I couldn’t get enough of it and wanted a thousand more pages of this.

“His eyes are soft. Knowing. ‘I always notice you, Nova girl.’
I smile back. Yeah. Yeah, he does.”
Oh my GOSH. I am in shambles. I have given every book in this series 5 stars making it my favorite romance series ever!!
I smiled and blushed and cried my way through this book. BK Borison’s writing is STUNNING, not only with the romance itself but the entire vibe and setting she has created. Her writing is deep & personal but also laugh out loud funny. I can also tell how her writing has flourished over time.
“She gives me a long, considering look. Her eyes look darker tonight, like a dense fog in the middle of the woods. Lazy mornings beneath the sheets, rain pelting at the windows. Tea on the kettle and nothing but socks and bare skin.”
I adored Nova and her personality — especially her determination & passion for her tattoo shop. Charlie is now one of my favorite characters ever!!! I saw myself in him and it was so beautiful to relate to him & read about him. He is also so obsessed with Nova I was MELTING. Their banter & connection was top tier!!! (Don’t get me started on their texts I was screaming) Neither characters wanted a relationship, but their connection unraveled so perfectly.
“I want him. I don't need him, but I want him all of the time.”
Borison is able to write such relatable characters which makes me so attached to all of these books!! The Beckett snippets in this book were also everything to me!!!!
Business Casual releases on July 16 and every romance lover needs to get it. I will never stop gushing over this book!!!! Charlie & Nova girl forever!!!
Thank you NetGalley and Berkley Romance for the advanced copy!

B.K. Borison's books are the literary equivalent of being held by your most favorite person in the world- comforting, anchoring, and relaxing. I love Lovelight Farms.
"Business Casual" is a perfect fit and beautiful end to the series and I truly adored everything about Nova and Charlie's relationship, how previous MCs were integrated into the story, and I especially loved that epilogue.

I hope the Lovelight Series continues forever, allowing readers to savor more of its extra sweet, swoon-worthy, delicious romance delights! Every time I start a new book in the series, I tell myself that it can't possibly exceed the others, only to realize I couldn't be more wrong. The characters in the series and their heartfelt love stories not only warm my heart but also create an urgent craving to transport into the story and become one of the Lovelight Farm characters for a life of long, peaceful happiness. This series is like a song devoted to healing your soul and a recipe for a permanent smile.
The combination of reverse grumpy meets sunshine, opposites attract, friends with benefits, and friends to lovers tropes forms a secret formula that makes this book extra entertaining, addictive, steamy, but surprisingly sentimental and genuine, just like the other books in the series.
In this book, when I got introduced to Charlie – a joyful, caring, talented flirt as Stella’s stepbrother – I immediately hoped he would have his own book soon, even though he lives in NY, a white-collared, three-piece-suited guy from an investment firm. He seems like he belongs to another world instead of our dreamy small town miles away from becoming a charming farmer, but my prayers were finally answered, and he got his book.
Charlie impressively embodies a reincarnated golden retriever in human form, while his partner Nova Porter is more like a cougar or black cat who likes to show her claws, hiding behind a brooding face, sassy comments, and a rough facade to protect her heart. She's a talented tattoo artist, the youngest of four siblings, which makes her the baby of the family. She's sick of her siblings’ protective attitudes around her and is the founder of her own tattoo shop business.
Everything starts at the wedding ceremony of Stella and Luka. Nora gets tipsy, and each minute she becomes more irritated with her sister Harper, who keeps making comments about the lack of her love life. When Charlie asks her to dance – shamelessly flirting with her for months – she says hell yeah, and not only does she dance with him, but she also makes an offer to take him to her home. Poor Charlie thinks he's invited for snacks, but as soon as he realizes she's asking for a one-night stand, before forming an answer, Nora storms out, forgetting her phone. But the cat is already out of the bag. Charlie cannot resist the attraction, and he also gives a one-month-long honeymoon present to Stella and Luka, meaning he has to take over their responsibilities, heading the Lovelight Farms.
As Nora tries to ignore Charlie, he's everywhere, even involved in the Pumpkin committee, occupying the chair next to her. She cannot hold back her attraction either. They decide to hook up for one night, get each other out of their systems, and move on with their lives. It seems simple when you say it, but when you act, there are so many complications. One night is absolutely not enough, and their blooming friendship may lead to something more intimate, definitely not casual.
Could Nova be brave enough to let him into her heart, and could Charlie leave his insecurities behind and realize he deserves to be loved?
I couldn't give this book less than five stars! This series is the definition of devoted addiction. If you google “swoon-worthy,” only this series' name appears on your screen. I cannot get enough of them.
Many thanks to NetGalley and Berkley Publishing for sharing this swoon-worthy book’s digital reviewer copy with me in exchange for my honest thoughts.

The second I found out that Charlie was obsessed with Nova in previous books I knew this was going to be my favorite in the series and I was RIGHT. Charlie is my perfect book man oh my GOD.
Charlie and Nova are so perfect for each other, made to be together, the perfect balance! I loved how vulnerable they allowed themselves to be with each other and how they made sure to be each others' soft place to land. This book is very slice of life vibes, it just felt like a warm hug. I am so sad to say goodbye to the Lovelight Farms world but know this was the perfect send off. I would love to squeeze them all.

Thank you to Netgalley and Berkley Publishing Group for the ARC.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5/5 stars
The Lovelight series has been a favorite of mine and Business Casual was the perfect send-off. This story follows Nova, a tattoo artist and cynic, and Charlie, the adorably goofy investment banker. When Charlie decides to take over his sister’s farm so she can go on a dream honeymoon, he finds himself falling for Nova. The two decide to be “business casual”, but what happens when they catch feelings?
I adoredddd this book. Nova and Charlie had a hilarious dynamic and plenty of swoonworthy moments. Charlie is such a great character and I loved getting to know him more. I cannot express how much I will miss this quirky town. BK Borison can do no wrong.
ARC was provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Loved this romantic story which is full of angst and is rather steamy as well. This is the 4th book in the Lovelight Farms series, but it can be enjoyed as a standalone as well. Charlie and Nova are an opposites attract couple who are so perfect together. Love the heavy theme of family and found family in this story.

Alexa, find me directions to Inglewild and a permanent residence at Lovelight Farms please.
YOU. GUYS. This book. 🥹 I’m actually finding it hard to articulate how much I loved Business Casual. It was everything. EVERYTHING. I had a soft spot for Charlie’s character when he was introduced in book 1 of the series and my love for him only magnified a thousand-fold after this book. Throughout the series, you know Charlie as the successful business man who’s also a huge goofball and an even bigger flirt. But how B.K. unfolded his story was so beautiful. The way she wrote the inner struggles of both Nova & Charlie; both feeling like they could never measure up, never be good enough for anyone, was more than relatable. The pressure they both put on themselves and felt from others was something I felt deeply. Reading about their relationship, how they felt about one another was so intimate & so raw. And the fact that we get more of each of the Lovelight Crew and the Porter family, especially Beckett, really warmed my heart. The town, the farms, and everyone in it feels so familiar to me, like I’m a part of their adorable little family. This series and this book will hold a special place in my heart for a long time.
Oh, and, find you a partner who cuts your grapes into the shapes of hearts while you’re recovering from a migraine. IYKYK. 🥹
A HUGE thank you to Netgalley, Berkley Romance, and B.K. Borison for this e-arc. Check out Business Casual on it’s pub date 7/16!

Where do I even start?! THIS BOOK 😍🤤🙌🏼 such an amazing wrap up to this series and I have to say I think it’s my favorite one of them all! The banter, the humor, the flirting 👏🏼 I couldn’t put it down and finished it in a day! I loved seeing what happens between Nova and Charlie and the writing was superb! Highly recommend! I wish there was more to come in Inglewild!

Business Casual is perfect if you love opposites attract, small town romance, and the found family trope. This is my first book by this author and I just love how the whole town is in everybody’s business, it’s hilarious yet heartwarming.

I am Nova. She is me. I am grumpy like her and want myself a Charlie. This reverse grumpy sunshine was amazing. Charlie is such a golden retriever always searching to make others happy at the expense of himself. This wasn’t exactly a slow burn and they get together fast so that’s why I am rating a bit lower but it was still very good.
I love how Charlie puts on this jokester act and yet he really is just the sweetest man and so very vulnerable. He thinks he’s so undeserving of anything good and it broke my heart. I love how Nova showed him how important he was. Nova goes through her own struggles as well and I enjoyed seeing her overcome them just as much. This was a very cute story that I definitely recommend.

4.5⭐️
I’m so sad to see this series end it’s definitely a bittersweet moment.
Charlie & Nova’s book was so fun to read I loved Charlie’s sunshine golden retriever vibes with Nova’s grumpy black cat energy.
They start off flirting and bantering and fall into a casual relationship which eventually turns into soemthing more.
The flirting and secret hidden moments were so sweet but I also appreciated all the moments they were vulnerable with each other, especially Charlie.
I found myself relating a lot to his character and the ending was just so damn sweet! (Loved seeing all the characters in this one)
I’m going to miss this cozy warm series so much and will definitely be revisiting whenever I miss them!
Thank you Berkley for the ARC!

The tension! The banter! The swooning! The way Charlie says Nova Girl! All of it… perfection!
I loved this book and these characters and this adorable little Christmas tree farm. All the stars for Charlie and Nova. My expectations were high and Ms Borison sure delivered!
Thank you (times a million) to Berkley and netgalley for allowing me to be an early reader!
