HAPPY DANCE!!!! oooh how I loved this book. Seriously, it’s another gorgeous, swoony, emotional beautifully written Borison book that had me in happy tears and clutching my heart more times than I could count.

This book was an absolute delight. The perfect mix of small town swoon and steamy. Nova and Charlie were definitely worth the wait. This is BK Borison’s strongest book in this series and her writing has just gotten better and better. Both characters were developed so great and felt so real. We see them go through a journey of self-acceptance while navigating being with someone else and it was just really well done. I will definitely miss this world and the characters in it, but the ending was great and the epilogue was fantastic. A must read this year for all small town romance lovers!

LOVE LOVE LOVE! Perfect, no notes! This book is my favorite in the series. B. K. paints the perfect picture of found family, love, and the power of community and belonging. I don’t think there has ever been a small town as cute and nosy as Inglewild! Every character, main and supporting, is perfection. The emotional journey of both main characters is beautifully depicted, we see and understand their inner struggles and are cheering for these perfectly imperfect characters. Charlie and Nova are EVERYTHING with their chemistry, witty banter, and scorching hot spice. Bonus that they communicate well and there is no third act breakup! Everyone will fall in love with them and this book that is sure to tug at all the heartstrings.

It’s been so fun watching Borison’s writing grow through this series! I definitely think Business Casual was my favorite one of the four tied with In the Weeds. The characters Charlie and Nova were so good and so nuanced I loved them and rooted for them the whole time. The aesthetic of this series is perfect with the seasons and the cute little town I would love to just insert myself right into.

Just the right amount of spice and one liners that had me squealing. Will definitely read anything and everything B. K. Borison writes in the future!

The perfect conclusion to the Lovelight Farms series. This feels like the warmest hug and the stories of all of the characters wrapped up in the best way imaginable. So happy we could take one last trip to Lovelight

Charlie Milford and Nova Porter have my HEART! I’ve read all of the Lovelight series, and these books truly rekindled my love for Romance novels. Borison is a master of prose, banter, HOT spice, and a world so beautifully come to life she will even make you cry. I can’t say how much I loved this book, Charlie especially has my heart. This book is a warm hug when you need it most and I literally devoured it in two days because the plot SLAYS. I hope one day, I’ll get to go to Inglewild again ❤️

I’m giving this book 4.5 stars, but I’m rounding up to 5 for 2 reasons: 1. Charlie. This man. 🫠
And 2. Because of all the Beckett we got.

Reviewing the final book in a beloved series is always so bittersweet. I adore the Lovelight series. I adore Inglewild, the townspeople, the farm, the bakery. Mostly, I adore these characters that have been living rent-free in my heart ever since I read my first book in the series.

I loved watching Charlie and Nova go from lovers in denial to lovers out loud. I loved their relationship. It was tender and vulnerable, but also super hot. 🔥Equally, I loved seeing Charlie be wholly and truly part of Inglewild, especially as a core member of the Lovelight Farms crew.

Business Casual was the best “good bye for now” I could have asked for. It was funny, emotional, and totally swoon-worthy. What a wonderful end to a fantastic series.

Thank you so much for the ARC, Berkley!

Every time I read a Lovelight novel I am filled with inspiration that love is real and everything works out. Its just such a beautiful cozy series. I LOVED Nova and Charlie, they're my new "it" couple and I want to devour more and more of them.
This is reverse grumpy sunshine and friends with benefits that was steamy and funny and completely addicting.
Please read this book !

I really really really really really enjoyed this book, could you tell from my "creative" use of the word really? I think the patrons at my library will absolutely devour this book as well. I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone who is looking for a great read!

I know this was book 4 of this series of standalones, but this was actually my first B.K. Borison book! And I really enjoyed it!
I have been trying to read more contemporary books to warm my cold heart, and this one definitely brought some happiness and warmth into it.
Charlie is such a good mmc, he kind of absorbed all of the good male tropes into one character and exuded them with so much perfectness I loved him. I felt that Nova was a really relatable fmc too, and I saw a lot of myself in her! I'm definitely not like...a grumpy person irl but I definitely relate a lot to grumpy x sunshine when the fmc is the grumpy one. Charlie is so obsessed with Nova and will literally do anything for her and I want that for all of us <33333
I will definitely be going back and reading more of B.K. Borison's books after this!

There is nothing I love more than going back to my favorite place the Lovelight Farms Universe.

I absolutely devoured this book so quickly. I was hooked from the very beginning. Can we talk about the TENSION and BANTER between Charlie and Nova?! I was on my knees for them. They had me kicking my feet and blushing the entire time I was reading.

This book had to be my favorite book of the series, and I am so sad to see it end. The dynamic between the characters made the reading so much more enjoyable. We saw how the characters developed and grew on their own and with each other. I saw myself in them in so many ways. Makes me want to cry and huge them.

THE ENDING!! This series will forever be my comfort series.

4.5⭐️ I can’t believe this series is over with 😭 honestly such a great way to tie it all together! I had MAJOR bi panic with Nova and Charlie, because once you read this, you’ll understand.

Charlie is such a mirrorball and this is me trying girlie and I related a little too much to his character. And then you have Nova who’s trying to convince herself that she’s better off being alone (is this f*cking play about us???)

I loved how easy going the friendship and connection was between Nova and Charlie, the banter was full on bantering! Both characters were vulnerable and learned how to overcome their insecurities and find the place they really belonged and realized that they both deserved a happy ending. And the ‘just this once, to get it out of our systems’ tension was phenomenal and I eat that up every single time.

Plus all the cameos made me so happy and I want to reread it immediately. Thank you NetGalley and Berkley Publishing for sending me an e-arc in exchange for my honest review!

Some tropes:
-older brothers best friend
-friends with benefits (aka business casual)
-no third act breakup
-small town who loves their phone tree
-grumpy / sunshine
-fmc is COVERED in tattoos 🥵
-opposites attract

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading every book in B.K. Borison’s Lovelight series! When I downloaded Business Casual on my Kindle, I was both excited and nervous because I knew it would be the final installment in this fantastic series. However, I'm happy to say that not only is it amazing, but it's also possibly my favorite book of the series!

Right from the start, I loved the witty exchanges between Nova and Charlie. Their back-and-forth conversations made me laugh out loud on several occasions throughout the novel. As expected from B.K. Borison, the storyline kept me hooked from start to finish. This 5-star book perfectly wraps up the 5-star series! I cannot wait to see what B.K. Borison has in store for us next!

This was one of my most anticipated reads of 2024 and it exceeded my expectations. I can't recommend it (and the whole series) enough!

A wonderful ending to the Lovelight Farm series. This will have you laughing, swooning, and feeling emotional. Charlie and Nova are such a fun and adorable couple. Their banter and chemistry didn't sizzle out when they got together, which I was grateful for. I loved seeing how they fit into the lives of the characters from the previous books and seeing more of the Lovelight found family. I'm sad it's come to an end, but I already plan on re-reading this series every year.

Big thanks to Netgalley and Berkley for the ARC!

First, I want to say thank you so much to NetGalley, Berkley, and B.K. for allowing me to receive an ARC of this book. I have never been more excited to get an advanced copy of something - this series means so much to me and going back to the world of Lovelight Farms is such an honor!

I immediately fell in love with this book and wish more than anything that the Lovelight series would just continue forever because I can never get enough of Becs' writing and the characters she gives life to.

Business Casual has our main stars Charlie and Nova in quite the situation of "let's just do it once to get it out of our systems" to "uh oh, I need to keep doing this with you, it's not out of my system"

The spice and romance scenes between Nova and Charlie were *chefs kiss* I could not get enough of them together. I loved their banter and dynamic and I'm such a sucker for a sunshine, golden retriever, loyal hero in the story. I also loved how they were totally opposites attract in terms of looks and that had me giggling and kicking my feet sooo much. I loved seeing glimpses of all the past characters of Lovelight as well, it really felt like it brought everything full circle (I still don't want this series to end)

Best part about this book in my opinion? NO third act breakup thank the LORD.

When this releases, please go and buy it immediately. You just HAVE to read Nova and Charlie's story. I loved this so much (if you can't tell) and I obviously pre ordered and signed copy to add with all my other Lovelight books <3

Business Casual has easily become one of my favorite reads. I devoured it from start to finish. The banter between Charlie and Nova was amazing. I can’t explain enough how much I enjoyed it. Throughout the series we got glimpses of Charlie randomly popping up and people wondering why he was always in town when he lived in NY and to finally know why he always stuck around was heartbreaking. Business casual gave us friends to lovers, small town romance, grumpy x sunshine, he takes care of her when she is sick and more.

Thank you NetGalley and Berkley for the ARC.

"Business Casual", last one but not least!
I've read all the books in the Lovelight saga, and this, the very last one, I had the chance to read in advance.
Thank you to Netgalley and Berkley Publishing for giving me the opportunity to preview this book, in exchange for my honest opinion.
We are back to our beloved Inglewild again, this time we enter in the lives of Nora and Charlie. Unfortunately it's the last book of the saga, so better get your tissues ready.
Inglewild remains the cozy town, where everyone knows each other, everyone helps each other and it'is beautiful at any time of the year, from summer to late winter. Here we re-know Charlie, an outsider, Stella's brother, city workaholic, complete with suit and his good boy attitude.
Then there's Nova, a little grumpy, the little one of the house, the last of four siblings, who does everything to assert herself and have her independence. She has her own tattoo studio.
Sparks fly at Stella and Luka's wedding, after a dance together, there's no turning back now. When Stella and Luka leave for their well-deserved honeymoon, Charlie steps up to help with our beloved Lovelight Farms.
Nova, too stubborn to admit her attraction, tries to resist him, but Charlie manages to insinuate himself into her thoughts.
I would say that it is a worthy conclusion to this fantastic saga, what better way to say goodbye to our beloved protagonists than with a classic trope of sunshine x grumpy, where grumpy is herself. My favorite kind of tropes!

I am so glad that I discovered Lovelight Farms and the town of Inglewild, and I hope that Borison changes her mind and writes more stories about other characters in the small town. Borison's characters grow and change over the four books, but remain true to themselves, even when the focus has moved on to another couple. My only complaint about this last installment is that Nova and Charlie's story is a bit too similar to Luka and Stella's story, but, again, it's Borison's characterizations that make this story a success. Even if Nova and Charlie's path is similar to Luka and Stella's, they are very different characters, and that makes all the difference. Borison has given us another warm and fuzzy (and steamy) love story. You probably won't want to have to leave Inglewild either.

Are you ready to grin from ear to ear, start to finish? The Lovelight Farms crew is back for their swan song, and Nova and Charlie are my favorite couple yet. They’re snarky, sweet, and sigh-inducing, with that extra magic B.K. Borison weaves into her novels that make readers devour these books in one sitting.

Charlie: so skilled at distracting from the fact he’s lonely. With those forget-me-knot eyes and wit for days, how could we ever forget him? Selfless to a fault and finally on a committee in town, can we please bump him to the top of the phone tree?

Nova: so scared to fail she can’t see that she’s already succeeding. She is an artist with so much love to give. Nova, girl, the flowers you weave are stories on skin, and we are all here to watch the ink bloom.

BUSINESS CASUAL begins with a wedding and ends with a bang. It’s a place to return to over and over again for cozy, found-family vibes in a small town.

Charlie boy and Nova girl find family in each other and so much more. The Lovelight series has earned a place on my shelf—but BUSINESS CASUAL? This is eternal nightstand-worthy.
