This was such a lovely final installment in the Lovelight Farms series!! I truly adored every one of these in their own unique way. This book was a long time coming, and seeing the way Charlie and Nova balanced each other out was beautiful. I thought that the pacing of this was good, and there was no third-act breakup/miscommunication (thank god). My only issue is that it was too long for me, a lot of the middle could have been condensed. Other than that it was great!!

4.5 rounded up!

🌈Queer rep: mention of a MM couple, off-page

WOW BK Borison has done it again!! This was an absolutely tremendous conclusion to the lovelight farms series, I am so sad to see them all go!

Business Casual is definitely my new favorite in the series, and one of my new favorite romances ever! This did not disappoint, the tension, and banter is top tier. Charlie and Nova, give black cat x golden retriever in the best ways. Both of these characters have so much heart and Borison does an amazing job of building out these emotional well rounded characters that just have so much heart.

I cannot even gather my thoughts to express how much I adored this book, I genuinely did not want it to end I was dragging it out trying to make it last but also couldn’t put it down!!

AND CHARLIE THE MAN THAT YOU ARE!!! I am happy to announce Charlie has been promoted to my top tier MMC list, he is fun and silly but also LOYAL and so obsessed with Nova which is HOT. I cannot speak enough about how much I adored him and how much I wanted to give him a hug. Being inside his head was such a character study and I’m just saying IF HE WANTED TO HE WOULD!! And Charlie does!!!

The dynamic between Nova and Charlie was just so FUN! You can physically feel how fun they are together and how much they are into it, there is no mistaking their chemistry. I was however SOBBING at the end of the book I love them both SO MUCH!

I will be happy to be forcing this book upon everyone, and wish I could re-read it forever!

Thank you Berkley for the advanced copy!

Y'all are not prepared for how good this book is. I was nervous to pick it up at first because I loved the first book and didn't think it could measure up -- but it did! This book follows Nova and Charlie as they move their relationship from "business" casual to something more serious. It's so sweet and so fun. We have:

Excellent banter ✅
Spicy scenes ✅
Heartwarming family ✅
Small town shenanigans ✅
Personal growth ✅
No third-act break-up ✅

Pick this up if you're looking for a sweet romance with loveable characters and a fun small-town vibe.

4⭐️ thank you so much Berkeley Romance & NetGalley for the ARC!
Overall I’ve really enjoyed this series, and this was no exception! It did start off a little slow for me, but after that I was pretty immersed and so happy to be back in Inglewild. This series has some of the best small town vibes, and I love the little details of the characters and town that makes you feel like you know everyone intimately.
Charlie and Nova were great MCs, and I especially loved Charlie! Their story and relationship development was done really well and was so sweet-and no third act breakup!

I love when the characters don’t want or don’t think they can be in a relationship and then find their person🥹 it was done so well here!

Thank you Berkeley for the chance to read early💚

Bk Borison does it again by taking us back to the magic and charm of Inglewood with Nova and Charlie’s love story. This book was incredibly sweet and steamy! I absolutely loved the flirting and banter between the main characters as well as all the cameos from our fave Lovelight couples.

This series is so special to me. I read Lovelight Farms when it FIRSR came out, with the OG cover and I haven’t been the same since. I have loved every single book, every couple, every characters that Becs has written. I cannot believe this is the end. And quite honestly I can’t wait to just reread the whole series.

This one though. This one was perfect. Charlie and Nova are two sweet softies who find each other when they need it the most. They are so fun and flirty and playful and sexy. They were both SO vulnerable and sacred and didn’t feel like they were enough. But finding each other, finally being able to open up with someone, finally feeling safe and comfortable, changed the game for both of them and it was BEAUTIFUL.

The family and found family in Inglewild is so strong. Seeing Charlie gravitate toward the town because of Stella but staying because it’s home, but not feeling like he should belong?? But seeing how much he does belong, and how much people love him??

Nova and Beckett?? Watching her face her fears, and telling him how much he means to her, how much she doesn’t want to fail him… and watching him so the same exact thing?? The fact that she is his favorite sister and everyone knows it? And Charlie and Stella?? The way he wanted nothing more than to give her everything? The way he talked so highly of her?! The way she loved him so deeply?? The way they came from the same crappy father and were able still be these beautiful sunshine people?? It’s tough competition to figure out who is my favored sibling pair.

The last chapter was perfect. The epilogue was perfect. I cannot believe this is the end of an era. But it’s been a perfect trip.

Thank you so much to Berkley for this ARC exchange for an honest review!

What starts off as something casual between Nova and Charlie turns into so much more. I liked how they tried to hide their secret relationship from the town. Made for some fun and sneaky scenes. Charlie was a very sweet and charming hero. I loved how well he fit into the town. Like he belonged there. Nova was a strong businesswoman who was in the process of opening up her tattoo studio.

This author has such a warm style of writing. Makes me wish Inglewild was a real place. Between the phone tree and harvest festival, it was filled with small town coziness.

I often was bored with the lack of a plot to pull me in. Nova and Charlie's relationship was too physical. I didn't feel much of an emotional connection with them.

It’s so bittersweet that this was the final installment in the Lovelight series, but it was such a wholesome and perfect conclusion!

I was so happy to be transported back into the small town of Inglewild and to be reunited right away with all of our favorite characters and couples— in one of the best ways possible too! There’s just something so cozy about this fictional world and it never fails to bring joy.

This story follows Nova and Charlie, two character’s we’ve previously seen around. Nova is a tattoo artist currently in the process of building her own shop and is not a relationship kind of girl. Then there’s Charlie who comes from the city with his fancy suits and job, but seems to be the most upbeat person with a heart of gold. It’s reverse sunshine x grumpy with some friends to lovers and it was so fun. Both Nova and Charlie felt so real and relatable as they battled their own struggles, but I loved seeing them grow and heal individually and together.

For the actual romance aspect, I enjoyed seeing the dynamic between our two MCs because it was so fun and the banter between them was great. Plus of course there were some really sweet moments layered on top of everything that created some nice depth. It really made our characters feel vulnerable which in turn only made them more lovable.

Lastly, I just want to emphasize how much I adore this town. We get more glimpses into the charm of Inglewild such as the close knit community, the tree farm, and of course everyone’s favorite phone tree that spreads all the best gossip! The town itself made for some wonderful moments that added some extra entertainment to the story.

The ending of this book/ series too was so perfectly heartwarming where one scene in particular just made me so happy! While I’m sad it’s over, I know this series will always remain as something special!

Thanks to Berkley Romance for a copy of Business Casual by BK Borison which is the final book in the Lovelight Farms series.

What can I say about this gem of a book and series! This was such a wonderful book and I'm sad it's the final book in the Lovelight Farms series. I loved Charlie and Nova and seeing these opposites attract in the sweetest romance. What starts out as one night leads to it being so much more.

I love this town and this series and all of the characters.

If you haven't read the first 3 books, you need to so you can fall in love with Charlie and Nova before it comes out in July.

I didn't think I could ever have a stand-out favorite from the Lovelight Series... but this is definitely it! Nova & Charlie's chemistry was insane... It's been over a month since I read this, and just starting to write this review makes me want to read it all over again. The banter was brilliant & had me giggling the whole book. Watching these two finally come together, bit by beautiful bit, was everything. I related in a big way to both Nova and Charlie in different aspects of their personalities and I saw little bits of myself and my relationship in theirs, which made it so real and fulfilling, and just melted my whole heart. Thank you thank you thank you, BK, for bringing this & all of the Lovelight stories us. I will treasure them always.

The perfect ending to a beautiful series. Charlie and Nova were made for each other and their story was an absolute pleasure to read!

Opening up a business is a lot of work even with the support system Nova has in Inglewild. She doesn’t have time for a relationship but can’t seem to get Charlie out of her head, he’s a distraction that she needs to get out of her system. One night only, no strings attached, they just need to get it out of their system. Things change after their explosive night together, Charlie is determined to convince Nova he’s worth some of her time after all.

This is one of my favorite romance series of all time and the series finale didn’t disappoint. Getting to go back to the town we all know and love by this point was such a joy. Being introduced to new faces and catching up with old ones made my heart so happy. They’re all connected somehow, it’s a small town after all. In this case Charlie and Nova are siblings to previous mcs Stella and Beckett respectively.

They’re amazing characters, both super likable and funny. The kind of people you’d love to be friends with. Their relationship develops slowly over time, however their attraction for each other is evident from the beginning. I don’t want to give away too much but I have to mention that there is no third act breakup and unnecessary drama.

New book boyfriend alert! Not only is he good looking he’s also funny, kind and supportive. He’s always there for the people he loves, get yourself a man like Charlie. He hasn’t shown himself the same kindness and I loved watching his character develop throughout the book.

I can’t recommend this book and entire series enough. Borison never misses, mark your calendars Business casual hits the shelves July 18th!

HOLY SHIT I AM IN LOVE WITH CHARLIE MILFORD!!!!

earlier this year i read lovelight farms which is the first book in this series and i thought it was incredibly average. it really saddened me because so many people adore this series and i just didn't understand. the other day however, i was scrolling through goodreads and stumbled upon numerous excellent reviews for this book. some of them included quotes so i did a bit of research, applied for the arc, and dug into this story. boy am i happy i gave it another chance because this was SO FUCKING GOOD!!!

from the moment he started talking i loved charlie. his character is very... me.... yikes... anyway i just really related to a lot of his thoughts about being too much and not feeling like you belong anywhere. the writing in this book was genuinely so beautiful. the sheer amount of highlighted lines i have is crazy. nova was also a spectacular character. first off she was a tattoo artist.. such a win!! she was also just so "tough" on the outside and seeing her feel comfortable with charlie was amazing. their relationship was just wonderful. it was filled with such cute and sappy moments, like the heart grapes, and moments that were hot af, them in the hallway at her opening....

now i know i haven't read the whole series, it's something i will be doing now because i was obviously wrong to not do that before, but i feel like this is such a good ending for a small town series. the last chapter was filled with so much love, it felt like to warmest hug to see everyone come together and welcome charlie to the town. like i said beckett's book is being bought now and i hope that we maybe get books for him and nova's other sisters because seeing their family was a highlight in this already show-stopping story. you all need to have this on your radar to buy when it releases in july!!!

*thank you NetGalley and Berkley for this ARC*

NovaCharlie were so worth the wait and I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do with myself now that the Lovelight series is over. I loved these two so much, the carefree tattoo artist and the lore buttoned up businessman. The lack of miscommunication. The “one night to get it out of our systems” that does anything but. The small town vibes and our beloved characters from previous books making appearances. It was all perfection and a beautiful conclusion to a forever favorite series.

“I’ve taught myself how to be okay with fragments of feeling, but i don’t want that with you. I want more than what you’ve given me.”

So, in Business Casual, we have Nova, who's this grumpy character running a badass female-owned tattoo shop. And then there's Charlie, our golden retriever hero, working at a fancy investment firm. Charlie has been flirting up a storm with Nova for awhile, both are very uninterested in being a relationship. One night they decide to throw caution to the wind and just go for it. But little did they know, that one night would turn into many more, and they find themselves in a situation they never could have predicted.

Charlie boy🫶🏽 such a caring and selfless person, making sure everyone around him is happy. Always puts others' happiness before his own. He deserves nothing but the best.

Nova puts on a brave face and never asked for help, even when she really needed it. You don't have to carry everything on your own.

I was totally smitten with Charlie and Nova right from page one! Their banter had me cracking up and I couldn't stop laughing throughout the whole book. And let me tell you, their chemistry was off the charts! It gave me all the feels and pulled at my heartstrings. I could relate to them so much, and there were moments that felt incredibly personal. Both had their own struggles, and it was incredible to see how they found healing together. I was a bit skeptical about diving into a one-night stand story they tend to prioritize lust over a deeper connection. But with Nova and Charlie, it was different. You could really feel their genuine love for each other. Their bond was built on friendship and trust, which made their relationship so much more meaningful.

I couldn't resist my curiosity ended up reading this series out of order. But you know what? I don't regret it one bit! After this amazing read, I'm excited to check out the other two books in the series. Can't wait to see what they have in store!

What a beautiful and PERFECT way to end such a loved series.

The Lovelight Farms series is so special to me and will always hold a place in my heart. Nova and Charlie's story was such an amazing way to visit this town one last time. If you're a fan of small town romances, enemies with benefits, tattoo shops, plants, or this series, you will LOVE this book. Everything B.K. Borison writes is a treat and this book is no exception.

I adored the ending to Lovelight Farms. It was sweet and soft, funny and meaningful. Charlie and Nova were a perfect opposites attract pairing and their love story was my favorite in an already-fantastic series.
