Wow! What a read!! I started this book when I first got it and thought it was totally something else so I stopped and moved on well I went back to it tonight and I'm so glad I did! It was nothing like I thorough it was going to be! It was about a man on trial who was abused by a teacher when he was a child and the abuser ends up dead! He's on trial for the murder! I mean can you blame him?! The trial was very interesting! It dragged me in! I highly recommend reading this book to find out how it goes! There are a few shocking twists from the side characters also! Definitely a must read! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!

First of all, WHAT AN AMAZING BOOK. 🤩

This book gave me life lessons about the importance of carefully considering our options. The truth about our wounds is that it may need to be disclosed to our significant other, even if we are concealing them for our own sake. Though we might not realize it, but sharing something could help us with our challenges. As for Maureen, I can see why she feels compelled to hide her wounds at first as they have been a burden on her life, but talking to and sharing with a close family member or friend is the only way for her to feel better.

I liked this book even though Dakota could have ended the book if he shared his part but where is fun in that yea? 😅 Anyway this book kept me on my toes until the very end. I always wanted to pursue Law and reading this makes me want to pursue it more. There were no lag moments and this has been BY FAR the best law related thriller book I've ever read. So excited for everybody to read this book on 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰!

Kudos to @netgalley and the author @keenan.powell for letting me read this book in advance. 🥰❤
