I requested this book ten years ago, and am no longer interested in reading. Thank you for the opportunity.

When first picking up the book, I thought I would be facing a psychological thriller, instead of an insta-love story. Because of the shallow characters and the unrealistic setting, I actually had to force myself to finish this book. I hated Maddie, our main character. She doesn't grow at all through the whole book. What we get from her is some reckless behavior here and there and her obsessing over Kyle who is possibly the biggest jerk ever. Don't get me wrong, I usually love arrogant characters and can forgive a big deal of shit behavior but this one just got on my nerves. Something else that really bothered me was the setting. This is supposed to be a college campus, but it was more the Jersey Shore. There's sex everywhere, alcohol everywhere, drugs everywhere... and apparently no one studies.
