When I requested the arc of this book I hadn't realized that it was already published and read it on KU, completely forgetting to post my review here. It was my first Freida McFadden book (shocker I know), and it was a fun read but not my favorite. While it began in a funny way that our main character gets the ick from her husband, she ended up being an unlikeable character and while it can be an aid for the plot, it was not here,

It was OK. Nothing special or memorable or life-changing. She's still one of my auto-buy authors, though

Excellent fast paced read about a group of friends that take a fun trip together. Ome by one, they start to die. Who will be next? Would recommend

Unfortunately this book missed the mark for me. I normally love Fredia McFadden books but this one was not good. It was boring, repetitive, and lacked any real substance for my liking. I was disappointed.

This book was definitely a great read!! It kept you on your toes and it definitely had the turn of events that Freida brings to all of her books!!

A retreat to a secluded inn goes terribly wrong as a group of six travelers find themselves being picked off one by one.
Freida McFadden books are like a packet of Oreos. They taste great, they're satiating, they're extremely simple and not all that special. The final twist to this particular package of Oreos was a little cheap to me. I expected certain things but then was pushed to change my mind because of the way a perspective was intentionally being written...This was a quick and entertaining read, like most McFadden books, but nothing terribly creative or special.

Edge of your Seat Good!!!
Thank you NetGallary for an early review copy of One by One by Freida McFadden!
If you like a good triller this book is for you!
A very twisted ride that kept me engaged and guessing throughout the entire book!
I could not turn the pages fast enough! This book is filled with twists and turns and I loved every second of it!
You know a book has you hooked when you are thinking about it when your not reading it and can’t get back to reading it quick enough! Well, this is that book!
Freida McFadden knows how to draw you in and keep you hooked!
Well done! No spoilers with my review! This is a must read!

I love Freida! This is another win of hers! I enjoy the twists and turns of this book as all of her books. This one kept me guessing all the way to the end!

I really liked this book. I was interested from the beginning and it was an easy quick read. I wasn't sure what was going on exactly so I needed to keep reading to try and figure it out. I did not figure it out. In the end it was not what I expected and I liked that! Its been hard to find books lately that keep me intrigued, hooked, and keep me guessing. This book did all three of those things.

Freida McFadden's book are all extremely fast paced, this was no exception. I did not guess the end completly, although i had my suspisions of a certain character who turned out to be even more messed up than i thought possible. I was defintly feeling very WTF by the end but that is what makes it a great book.

Not her very best but still exceptionally engaging and really enjoyable!
Loved reading this from
Start to finish.

I always love a Freida McFadden book! This was a quick read, twisty, and thrilling. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks netgalley!

Always. Winner! Her books keep you on the edge of your seat have good turns and twists. I would recommend.

I’m confused how I got this as an advance reader copy in 2024 when I read this book in 2021. This was my first read by this author, and not my favorite. But I think it was independently published when I read it, maybe?

Classic Frieda. I’ve grown really fond of the quick thrillers. They’re usually super fast paced and easy to finish in a sitting or two. This one is no different. Easy read, great pacing, interesting plot!

Not everyone is who you think they are...
Jezus! What the fuck did I just read?? This was actually so good! I don't know why I waited so long to read this book. It had me guessing till the end and I'm still in shock with that plot! This was also my first Freida McFadden book but definitely not the last.
Thank you Netgalley and Poisoned Pen Press for this arc

This book was all about the action. It's actually my first foray into the Freida McFadden world. I would have to say I was a bit underwhelmed. I liked it but I couldn't say I loved it.

Fast paced, quick and enjoyable, I liked it but I didn't love it. It was a little underwhelming in my opinion. The plot twist didn't leave me gasping for air like I like. Would still recommend especially as a palate cleanser

This is one of those books you won’t want to put down. I can never say no to a locked room murder mystery. One by One is a fast twisty thriller that has you suspecting everyone.

Frieda McFadden has done it again! She is absolutely one of my favourite authors, I will read anything she writes! I read this one in 2 days, it was such a thriller quick read that kept me wanting me right up until the end.
Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
