Excellent book kit! So helpful for reading the book and hosting a book club. The questions were thoughtful and the extras, such as bookmarks, food/beverage pairings were perfection! I wish I could have a kit like this for every book!

I got this in preparation of my Book of the Month choice and I wasn't disappointed. It's a very organized kit with the perfect plan for any book club reading The Mayor of Maxwell Street.

This is a book club kit, it’s a great companion for a book club Reading of The Mayor of Maxwell Street by Avery Cunningham. The kit is well designed. It starts with trigger warnings for the book, thus giving the person coordinating the read, a complete picture to know if the book is for the intended group. I enjoyed the interview with the author. It’s hard to choose what I liked the most because I enjoyed the suggestions to set the mood, including cocktails or drinks, snacks, and food and the ambiance of the perfect music. I loved the suggestions of ways to make the entire experience authentic, including secret passwords. And the bookmarks that they give to print are great, allowing you four designs to choose from. This definitely makes me want to check out the actual book and try some of these suggestions to truly immerse myself into the experience. .

The Book Club Kit for The Mayor of Maxwell Street was amazing. I enjoyed the author interview section and feedback, the discussion questions, and the added playlist. I also enjoyed the Step Into The 20s section to help theme your virtual or in-person event. The Book Club Kit is a great tool for book clubs to discuss the book and add a little fun to the discussion. So many great topics to discuss and conversation starters.

The Book Club Guide for "Mayor of Maxwell Street" really helped to enhance knowledge of the time. I'm from Chicago, and before Maxwell Street was moved for "gentrification", I'd been there quite often with my Dad. The book brings back memories.
