I really enjoyed this book. Gave me such happy good vibes throughout. The characters are perfect you just want the best for all of them. I docked one star because there was one part of the storyline that I felt needed a bit more developing and I was waiting most of the book for something to happen that never fully did. Otherwise, loved the story, the setting and everything !! Such a cozy read for the fall and winter

AHHHHH MAREN'S STORY!!! I was so excited to see this book come across my shelf, Maren was such an interesting secondary character in the first two stories in this inter-connected universe, and I was most looking forward to reading her story! Erin Hahn did not disappoint, her character development and storyline is always spot on, and I found myself counting down the moments until I could pick it up again! Josiah (Joe) is a military veteran, divorced, single dad with two kids, one of whom is diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Kids with ASD have a special place in my heart as that is what I do for my career, and I am always a bit apprehensive when I read a synapsis that mentions individuals with neurodivergence. There was no need to worry here though, Erin Hahn did a beautiful job bringing Lucy's character to life and paying respectful homage to her autism. Maren of course was an amazing main character, so strong, so determined, and so brave! I even want to reread the first two books to re-catch the little snippits of Maren because I just love her so much! 5 stars!

I have been so excited for Maren’s book. We first met Maren in “Built to Last” and “Friends Don’t Fall In Love” as she watched her best friends Shelby and Lorelei each find their happily ever after. Maren is a Park Ranger in Michigan and has fled town after a humiliating proposal gone wrong. She escapes to Wisconsin where she has inherited a dilapidated bait shop and apartment that she plans to renovate while figuring out her next step. Almost immediately she runs into Josiah Cole, her brother’s best friend and single Dad to two ADORBALE children!
I think the kids, Anders and Lucy were possibly my favorite part of the story…especially when Lucy calls herself “Maren’s baby” 🥺
The romance between Maren and Josiah was so perfectly sweet. Pretty low-angst. Josiah’s ex isn’t really an issue but does create an opportunity for Maren to show how dedicated she is to Josiah and his kids. This books just left me feeling all warm and happy pretty much the whole time!

This was cute! I pictured Maren as a retired influencer who got tired of the spotlight, and is ready for a different type of adventure with a family. Josiah, the love interest, was wholesome, and his kids were portrayed well as kids (age-appropriate behavior and expressions) which was appreciated. I would recommend this as a summer and fall romance for folks looking for a more outdoorsy vibe.

Erin Hahn could write grocery lists, chores, and rewrites of the dictionary and I’d still read them.
You always know what you’re going to get when you read an Erin Hahn book:
1. Romance
2. Brilliant music and playlists
3. Strong, Independent women and men who love them
“Catch and Keep” is an excellent example of the brilliance that is an Erin Hahn novel. She writes very comfortable, cozy novels about strong women who are taking their lives in their own hands and making positive, proactive choices for themselves. Maren runs from a toxic relationship and tries to regain her life and independence. Hahn writes her women as if they were my best friend telling me a story, someone whose language I speak and whose experiences were my own. It feels like reading the diary of someone I love, but I’m not in trouble and it’s not a secret.
I love all of Erin Hahn’s novels and this is no exception. Maren joins Shelby and Lorelai on the shelf of badass ladies and I’m so glad the world gets to know them.

Catch and Keep by Erin Hahn is a really adorable contemporary romance centering around Maren, a former youtube star who has a passion in fishing, and Joe, a single father and Maren’s brothers best friend. Maren moves back to her hometown after receiving a building in a family friend’s will. She works to rebuild and model the building for sale while also reacquainting herself with Joe and his family.
The plot of this story is absolutely adorable and I found myself hooked. Once I got about 20% into the story, I read it all in one day. The story is unique, but also follows the template of a normal contemporary romance, which I enjoyed. The characters were relatable and easy to follow, and Maren was a strong and realistic female character, which is something I am always looking for. I really enjoyed reading this book.
Overall, I would give this book a 3.75/5 stars. It was a really fun read and lacked a third-act breakup, which is kind of a pet peeve of mine. It was unique and cute. I would recommend it to any romance readers out there and am planning to now read the rest of the series, which I had not read before starting this one. I am a new Erin Hahn fan!

I absolutely loved this cute, slow burn, brother’s best friend romance that was a quick and easy read. It was my first Erin Hahn book and definitely won't be my last. Maren and Joe are cute together so you will be you rooting for them to be together. I felt that the character were actually mature and were their ages 34/38 which a few books I've recently read with characters in their 30s felt like they were in their 20s instead. I also loved how Maren took to Joes kids and their interactions together, she was much better suited for them than their own mother. I definitely didnt realize until after I finished the book that it was part of a triology but it was still good to read as a stand alone.

First off, the cover. So crisp, so cute, so fall! Makes me want to head to immediately to northern Wisconsin. This book is the third in a trio that follows the love lives of three friends, and this one has all the tropes: sports (fishing!), friends-to-lovers, brother’s best friend, single dad.
Maren grew up fishing, had some early YouTube success, then became a park ranger. A series of personal and professional setbacks send her back to Wisconsin to claim an inheritance of a bait shop. There she runs into Joe, childhood crush and best friend of her oldest brother Liam. Joe is a divorced father of two, former Marine and manager of his family resort. Maren and Joe hit it off, become friends, then lovers. His family loves her, his kids love her.
The only real roadblocks to the romance were Maren’s brother and Joe’s ex-wife. Liam treated Maren more like she was sixteen instead of a successful woman in her 30s. Kiley, the ex, was written as a Disney villain. There was also an unnecessary stalker sub-plot that offered no payoff in the end.
While this was an easy read, there wasn’t much character development so I didn’t get as invested as I wanted to be. Still, I’d recommend it as a light weekend book.

I adore Erin Hahn's writing. Every Hahn book feels like coming home, and Catch and Keep was no exception. There's something about a lake book that always hits me in the nostalgia feels. The sense of community, feet swinging off of docks, fish on lines, men in swim trunks... It's such a sweet and close and intimate setting.
Joe and Maren are an explosively adorable couple with bonkers chemistry. And I adored the support Maren showed for single dad Joe and his kids. The scene where Joe stands up to Maren's brother will live rent free in my head forever. Like FOREVER. I highlighted so many gorgeous and emotional and sexy lines in this book and I can't wait for the world to read it.
Erin is an auto buy author for me, one of my favorite romance authors in the game, and a genius at balancing tension and story and emotion. Every time I read one of her books I end up turning pages so fast steam rises from my kindle. All the stars!
I received this book as an ARC on Netgalley but all opinions are my own.

"Catch and Keep" is a heartwarming romance that captures the essence of a feel-good fall read. The slow-burn romance between Maren and Josiah is beautifully depicted, and their bond feels genuine and endearing. Hahn's portrayal of special needs children is commendable, adding depth and authenticity to the story. While the relationship development could have been more nuanced, the overall cozy atmosphere and engaging characters make this a delightful read perfect for escaping into. Many thanks to NetGalley for the ARC!

I loved this. 2024 has some really great books lined up to release and this is one of them. Feel good, fall read. I loved the development of the characters, the bonds. It’s a slow burn, but it’s worth it.

Hahn does it again. Golly, I loved this one! It. had everything I love- outdoor setting, saving a sentimental property, and blast from the past. But what really set this book apart is the way Hahn writes special needs kiddos. She handles it with such truth and honesty and care. From one special needs mom, this book gets my seal of approval!

This was a lovely feel-good romance with a cozy setting. The relationship builds at a believable pace, with enough character building to have us rooting for Maren and Josiah. I enjoyed the lake-side resort setting because it reminded me of past family vacations.
If I have any criticism it would be that it was almost too easy for Maren and Joe. They had a few bumps in their relationship but nothing to build a lot of tension.
I would recommend this book to romance readers who want a cabin vacation vibes, a lighthearted atmosphere with sprinkles of real-life struggles, and like a single dad MMC.

Review to come.
Love the cover✔️
Interesting description ✔️
New Author to me ✔️
Thanks NetGalley for the ARC ❤️

Well I went to the book blindly, I didn’t read any descriptions for this book and was so thankful that I got accepted to read it. It’s the brother’s best friend, single dad, small town romance; everything that I love to read. I loved the snippets of the past between the characters. In some instances I did hate her brother even though he meant well. The kids were absolute adorable. And Mare and Lucy’s relationship was the cutest ngl, the way she saw Lucy and understood her needs, spoke such a great volume. I think the author described the condition of Lucy so well, I’m no expert but I loved how it was explained.

A very sweet and wholesome romance! I loved the setting and character development, as well as the single dad & brothers best friend tropes!
I wish it was made more clear that this was part of a series before reading.

Catch and Keep by Erin Hahn is a fun and spicy romantic summer novel that captures the magic of new beginnings and nostalgic summers.
The lead character escapes to her cherished summer cabin resort. This setting is rich with memories of summers spent with her family, and provides the perfect backdrop for her journey of self-discovery.
The plot thickens with the introduction of her brother’s best friend, now a single dad of two, who still lives in the area. The chemistry between them is palpable and adds an exciting, spicy element to the narrative. Their interactions are filled with warmth and a hint of tension that kept me eagerly turning pages.
I will admit that I read this book in one sitting!
The characters are well developed and relatable, each bringing depth and authenticity to the story.
And the spice is verrry well done!
I Highly recommend this book for anyone looking for an engaging and uplifting romantic novel. I will definitely be on the hunt for more books by this author!
Thankyou to Author Erin Hahn, Netgalley and St Martins Griffin publishing for the opportunity to read this book ahead of published date.

I truly wanted to love this one but unfortunately I could not get into it, it was a little slow to begin with and it did not grab my attention. I did not feel the relationship between the characters. It was hard for me to get through. It did pick up afterwards but not enough to make it memorable for me.

Catch & Keep by Erin Hahn is a refreshing read. The story follows Maren as she returns to the Northwoods in Wisconsin after a proposal gone bad to reset. Once back in her home away from home, Maren runs into Joe, her older brother's best friend, and his two children, Anders and Lucy. Though they were not friends in their younger years, Maren and Joe quickly become friends and revel in having a friend and supporter as they navigate their own and their collective craziness.
I felt that both MC's were well written and readers got to enjoy a comparison of who the characters were to one another in the past and how their perceptions changed as they interact throughout the book. The relationship between Maren and Joe developed organically with no pressure from "outside" characters or major drama or miscommunication. Both adults have gone through their own relationship turmoil, and are aware of not only their wants and needs in regards to their relationship, but also people who are going to be directly impacted by their relationship (Anders and Lucy).
Alongside the growing relationship between the MC's, the growing relationships between Maren and Anders and Maren and Lucy show how much of an impact a supportive adult and role model have on a child's development. While the kids have a wonderful father and Joe does everything he can to put his kids first and meet their every want and need, Maren - and her dog - provide the kids and the entire Cole family with more love they did not know they were missing. Individually, Maren provides Anders with a place and partner to fish in peace, as well as with a little bit of maternal guidance and unconditional love he was missing out on. While hesitant with Lucy at first and not wanting to dysregulate and overwhelm her, Maren quickly became a staple in Lucy's life by providing her with various avenues for her to express her needs, regulate herself, and her comfort in times of need.
My one issue with the book is the repairing of the relationship between Maren and her brother, Liam. When Maren first made it to Wisconsin, Liam went to go check on her. When they ran in to Joe and the kids, Liam made a point to tell Maren that she can't fall in love with Joe. Throughout the book, Liam makes comments about how she is not good enough for Joe, that she is young (they are 5 years apart), she does not have her life together, she is unemployed, and that she is not what Joe, Lucy, and Anders need. At one point, Liam catches Joe and Maren together and loses it, making more negative comments about Maren. Joe is quick to come to her aid and supports not only her renovation of the cabin she inherited, her job leading fishing tours, and her position in his life and the lives of his children. A few weeks later, Joe proposes, and while Maren's family and friends are there, Liam calls her instead, shares his happiness and apologizes, and just like that everything is cleared up. Throughout the entire book, Maren is confident in her abilities, decisions, and place within the Cole family, but her brother definitely rocked her self-confidence and I felt that Maren accepted his apology too quickly.
Overall, Catch and Keep was a pleasant small-town, found family romance. I enjoyed author Erin Hahn's writing style and am excited to read her other works. I would like to thank the NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for providing me with this ARC edition in exchange for my honest review.

Maren and Joe are #couplegoals for sure. Their love story is a beautiful example of two people persevering through their individual struggles or hiccups to find something wonderful together. I think that this book has storylines that will appeal to many readers, and I found it to be the most engaging book of the series.
