I’ve largely enjoyed Elsie Silver’s books in the the past. ‘Wild Love’ took that to whole new levels, consider me a fan and I’m now eagerly awaiting the next book in this series.

I can’t honestly pinpoint a single change that prompted my obsession with this book. Suffice it to say it just ticked all my boxes. Ford’ awkward charm and Rosie’s brassy attitude were electric together. The tropes were tropey goodness and handled perfectly. This book accomplishes both feeling comfortably familiar and unique enough for the characters to stick with you. Small town romance goodness

AHHHHH
This book was absolutely EVERYTHING 🥰

Elsie silver truly cannot do any wrong! There’s just something about her writing that feels like home 🩵

Don’t you love it when ford grant …
YES
Yes I do. I don’t even need to finish the sentence . I love everything about that man!

Things I loved in this book :

- THE EMAILS 🥹 excuse me ??! They were 100% my favorite part of the book!

Exemple : “Your emails are very formal. Blink twice if you’ve been possessed? Or kidnapped? I’d feel better if you just insulted me.”

This is just 1 exemple but literally all of them were so funny 😂

- Rosie’s sass
- The way Rosie had Ford wrapped around her little finger 🥹
-Willa’s little Cameo 💕 I missed her
-Ford’s relationship with Cora 🥹

Here’s a few Ford quotes I also LOVED (NO SPOILER)

“There’s nothing funny about the way I want you.”

“I definitely don’t hate you, Rosie. Not even close. But I can fuck you like I do if that’s what you need.” 🤭🥵 SIRRRR

“I broke every speed limit to get to you.”🫠

Okay I don’t wanna spoil anything so I’ll stop here but I definitely think you should read it 💕

"I broke every speed limit to get to you."

Elsie Silver can literally never write a bad book! I have loved all her books! And I LOVE Wild Love. I could not put this book down and wish I could read it for the first time again.

Everything about this book kept me hooked. The hate/love, the banter, Rosalie being a smart ass, diary pages, and Ford secretly pinning. It was literally everything I wanted and more! I was giggling, kicking my feet, and blushing the entire time.

Ford… or should I say Daddy? He was perfect. He lives rent free in my mind and I don’t want to get him out! Ford literally had me swooning with the things he did without her knowing and willing to do anything for her. Also that DIRTY MOUTH *fanning myself*, like take notes gentleman because HOT DAMN. The spice was delicious. He is simply the *chefs kiss* perfection.

Rosalie is fierce, badass, independent, protective, and sassy. Rosie is a FMC that I loveee. She is hysterical, I wish I was as witty and funny as her! She was so sweet with Cora taking her under her wing, it made me emotional.

When I started this book it was obvious that Ford and Rosalie are meant for each other! The banter was TOP tier, it had me rolling with laughter and giggling like crazy. I swooned countless times for the little things Ford has done for Rosie, in both the past and present. Can Ford be my boyfriend please?

Another part I loved was the father-daughter relationship. It was so sweet, it made me teary eyed. I love the single dad trope and this one was so different from any I read before! I loved the different take on single dad, it was done flawlessly.
This book includes:
Brothers best friend
Single dad
Secret pining (he falls first)
Frenemies to lovers
Workplace romance
AMAZING Banter
Diary entries
5/5 stars
2/5 spice

Small town romance meets forbidden love. A fun and loveable summer read, this was full of witty banter, spicy scenes and relatable characters.

How cutie!!

I loveeeeed this! It has some of my favorite tropes: brother’s best friend, childhood friends, “enemies to lovers,” and small-town romance. My favorite, of course, was brother’s best friend—I love that forbidden love. 😏

I didn’t love how much of a slow burn this was, but when they finally got together, it was EVERYTHING!! Ford is the sweetest😍

Spice was like 3/5 🌶️🌶️🌶️ because there wasn’t too much of it, but when there will is was 👌🏻

(Thank you, Bloom Books and NetGalley, for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.)

This book was so good I can't even express it. I read this book in a single day. I absolutely loved Ford and Rosie, and I think that this series is going to be just as good, if not better, than the Chestnut Springs series, which I absolutely adored. Elsie Silver can do no wrong!

Elise Silver is able to write books that tacke emotionally large topics throughout the book, while still reading as a light, heartwarming and steamy romance. Ford is Rosalie's brother's bestfriend and after Rosalie returns home after losing her big city job, Ford the now Billionare offers her a job at his new recording studio. Full of sexual tensions, simmering spice and Ford Grant who will do anything for Rosalie and Cora, his daugher that he was a sperm donor for.

"Are you single?"
"Yes, are you?"
"I don't know"
"Next time you ask me that, make sure you are"

Elsie Silver can do no wrong. This book was so full of tropes and I loved every single one of them. It was so fun to be back in the Chestnut Springs universe but starting a new series with new characters. I can’t wait for the next one!

Elsie Silver does it again! Her small-town single-dad romance books always leave me head over paws in love. From the hilarious emails that had me howling with laughter to the swoon-worthy acts of service from Ford Grant, this book had me running circles around the room with joy. The love between Ford and Rosie proves that destiny always finds a way, especially with heart-melting diary entries and sentimental keychains. Despite my excitement for this series, I couldn't help feeling disappointed. The lack of chemistry between the characters left me feeling like I was chasing my tail, and the forced plot twists fell flat. But Ford and Rosie's banter and undeniable chemistry kept me wagging my tail throughout. I'm eagerly awaiting more single-dad stories from Elsie Silver, ready to curl up and devour them all.

“Because other people might not love you the way I do. Might not forgive you the way I will. You and I? We’re a team. I kind of think we always have been.”

Rosie and Ford. He’s opening up a new studio at his small town, and she’s back after losing her job. Ford didn’t expect Rosie to ask to work for him…or that he has a daughter.

The proximity, the banter and bickering, the hilarious emails that they’d write to each other were all so good!

I was really excited to read my first Elsie Silver book but this wasn't anything that I expected. The story was kind of bland and the characters weren't all that developed. There were some cute and funny moments, like the email exchanges, but there was a lot of back and forth and I just feel like it was another common romance story. There also wasn't much chemistry between Ford and Rosie so I wasn't very invested in their relationship. It would have been interesting to see Cora have a larger role too. Overall, this was alright but it wasn't anything memorable.

I was definitely expecting a bit more from this, but I’m chalking it up to the first book of any series being slightly weaker than the rest. Overall, Ford was a good character, I just don’t believe in ethical billionaires with a B.

Also the pen play was just a lot and I wasn’t feeling it

This was a fun romance book set in a small town, frenemies to lovers, precocious child, brothers best friend. Looking forward to more books set in this town.

Dare I say, Elsie's best book? Ford and Rosie are the perfect example of brother's best friend and I am here for it! I love their banter and their chemistry and their whole story is just amazing.

I happen to have a weakness for the friends-to-lovers trope so I sort of think I was predestined to love Rosie and Ford. I absolutely love the idea that he’s been in love with her his whole life and she’s always been attracted to him but now? She’s got eyes for no one else. Throw in a cold no one expected and watch my heart melt. Our gripe three sizes, I’m not quite sure which…

Thanks to Bloom Books/Sourcebooks for the galley. All opinions are my own.

This is my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it. I loved the small town billionaire, the frenemies to lovers, the slow burn to fiery hot, the single dad plotline. Loved it all. I really enjoyed the writing. All of the characters were well thought out and have potential for their own stories which is always a great way to start a series. I'm looking forward to reading more of her books.

I love the small town worlds that Elsie Silver creates and so happy for this new series! I was excited to see that Forbes would be the MC in the first one because I really liked him in the other series. Excited to see where they take this next!
