This was a strong third entry in the Deiperian Saga series, it had everything that I enjoyed from the other two books. The characters were everything that I was looking for in the genre and from this series. It had that feel that I enjoyed overall and loved the post-apocalyptic elements in this book. J. Todd Kingrea has a great writing style and makes interesting characters. I hope there is more in this series.

A great evil has taken over & only the resistance with the help of a higher power can save the innocent. Thorne will do anything to save the woman that he loves. But is he strong enough to battle the evil that has taken over her body? He knows that he can’t give up looking for Teska but is he prepared for the consequences?
Teska has been fighting against Crimson Mother all this time but she doesn’t think that she will ever be free. Can she find the strength with the help of Thorne & his friend to break free?
A good interesting read. Does start of slow but it does get better. A great selection of characters great attention to detail especially the looks of the Crimson Fathers.
Thank you Netgalley & the publisher for the copy. This is my voluntary review.

I could not put this book down. It was super fast pace and held my attention the entire time. It is filled with action, magic, mystery, betrayal, monsters, heroes and, of course, villains. You cannot have a thrilling ride without some really, really bad villains.
